Excellent place to stay away from home!

Wonderful hosts, great communication, perfect place to stay with kids. There is an unlimited amount of toys/games/activities for all ages. The house was warm/inviting, spacious for kids to play inside and outside (weather permitting). Would highly recommend, looking forward to visiting again!

Lovely well renovated property

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is beautiful and located on a picturesque piece of property. The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and there are plenty of activities for kids and adults. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to stay in the area.

scenic location with great amenities

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the farm house. We fished and played all the bonus room games. What a beautiful home with more privacy than a hotel and room to spread out as needed.

Great stay

All though there is no tv, there is plenty to keep you busy. The basketball game inside was a big hit for adults and kids. A great get away to just hang out with family and friends. The house everything you need and then some. Only downside was having 1 bathroom.

Farmhouse Owensboro

We very much enjoyed our stay, the owners special touches, like leaving a bowl of fruit, cookies and coffee made our stay exceptional. We were arriving late at night, so this was great before we made it to the store, we also took advantage of the local activity recommendations given. All was clean, relaxing and the communication with property manager exceptional.

Priceless memories

We enjoyed our time at the Farmhouse- Our time with family at the Farmhouse was truely priceless. The property was more than expected. Relaxing and Quiet

My family loved this property. There were so many toys and games to play that we didn't get to play with everything. Throughout the week, my children never even mentioned not watching TV. They were too preoccupied with the toys and games. The location is also so close to many fun family experiences in Owensboro and Evansville. We would love to come back again.

Softball Tournament

Let start off by saying Thank you to the owners it was amazing house and the fresh flowers in the house the apples and cookies left for us was such a sweet thoughtful of them. The house was just perfect from the moment we walk in we felt at home. We enjoyed fishing and walking the property sitting on the deck and front porch. Loved all the games we really had a fabulous stay. The beds was all so nice and cozy. I wi definitely try and stay there again if we come down next year for another softball tournament.. I would 100% let anyone know if they are headed that way and need a place to check yours out.. Thank you again Dee and Family July 2023 stay..

A fisherman's dream

This property was a dream come true for my two boys, ages 8 and 11! The property was amazing and the pond was well stocked. My boys fished from sun up to sun down. The host was extremely gracious as our plans revolved around a ball tournament that was controlled by the status of Covid-19. We loved the house. This is your classic farm house, beautifully decorated with several special touches. The game room was a huge hit. I will give one warning; this house does have AC but they are window units. This was our only real drawback as the window units had a hard time keeping up with the hot July days. I would love to return during a fall season.

Perfect Country Home

This property is absolutely amazing! This was one of our BEST vacations!! We are used to country living so that played a part in us reserving at Nannie Bell, however I was not prepared to absolutely fall in love with this charming and beautiful house and property! Decorated beautifully with antiques, fresh flowers, an big games for big kids, toys for the little kids, it's amazing. The house was immaculately clean! The fully stocked pond kept us busy for hours. We spent a night reminiscing playing records on the record player. The wonderful hosts left us a charming welcome note and all of the stuff to do s'mores so we definitely enjoyed those around the fire! Almost anything you could think of is supplied it's awesome! The hosts were so communicative and wonderful to deal with! Y'all I can not sing enough praises for this place it's simply amazing! We will definitely be looking to book again when we are in the area!! Thank you Adrian and Fam for allowing us to enjoy your little slice of paradise!!

Worthy of more than 5 stars! Lovely, calming & comfortable

The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The personal note & welcoming gift were especially appreciated! The lovely fresh flowers encountered in unexpected places throughout the home brought a smile. Our family of 3 had so much extra room that I plan to invite my sister & her husband on our next trip here! I watched my husband struggle to attain high score on the arcade game Galaga & laughed as he & my daughter challenged each other in Foosball. We all even played a few rounds of basketball. Best of all, my daughter caught her first fish ever on her first cast into the catch and release pond at the Farmhouse! It was a memory we will never forget. The beds are comfortable, the home clean and lovely, the hosts extraordinary. And only 12 minutes to the convention center, this home was perfect for our family to rest and relax between the stress of the competition! We LOVE this Property!

We have Family in Owensboro and staying in a Hotel isn’t a good fit. We have stayed at this property twice while visiting from California and we LOVE IT! It’s spacious and comfortable, it’s gorgeous, and the fishing pond is so much fun. The Hosts are beyond kind and super thoughtful, just really making our stay extra special. When we’re in town the Farmhouse serves as home base- my Dad, my Brothers, my Nieces, and a few of my Friends in town come and go or gather for dinner, which I love and appreciate being an option. We get a GOOD GOOD visit in- nothing like if we were at a Hotel. The AC is cold and the beds are comfortable. The place is clean and close to shopping/riverfront/downtown/restaurants. The only thing I’ve said both times we were there is that I wish the kitchen was stocked a little better. It’s got what you need but not quite to make a family meal, which is fine. Anything we needed, I just had the family bring. This farmhouse is a dream! It’s where those summer memories are made and you should absolutely stay here! We will definitely keep coming back. Unplug and Unwind

We spent a few days at Holiday World and wanted to stay somewhere quiet since we’d be spending our days around noisy crowds. We got exactly what we were looking for and more! The property and grounds were gorgeous with old, beautiful trees and beautiful flowers. The pond was serene and words can’t describe the sunset off the front porch. We spent our nights singing karaoke and having bonfires. My littles loved all of the toys, games, and coloring books. My big kids loved the pop-a-shot, foosball, and Galaga. My husband and I loved the peacefulness. It was such a nice change of pace not having a tv to do tract everyone. But if you need to plug in, the wifi is strong. I was able to pull out my laptop and catch up on work when I needed to. The hosts considered everything- from toiletries to plenty of towels to even having feminine hygiene products. At first, my kids were very unhappy about the la k of a tv. One even cried. But by the end, they asked if we could come back every year. I even got a little emotional when we closed the door to check out.

Great attention to detail and customer service!

This place was everything that me, my wife, and my 5 children could have asked for! Living in downtown Indianapolis on the near East Side, it was nice to come out to the country where my kids could run around freely and we didnt need to worry about where they were or what they were doing. We were greeted with a nice message from the owners upon our arrival and then when we left we received another message with cookies which my kids enjoyed! I say this seriously when this place had EVERYTHING! I brought a metal detector and one was already there! We brought yard games but they already had cornhole there and it went great with the ladder ball set I brought. Really, we brought a lot of things to keep the kids occupied they already had there so we could have saved a lot of space in our truck but not bringing those things. The fishing was great! I cant imagine any better fishing in the county. We had a fish fry one night with the 4 catfish, two bass, and multiple pan fish we had caught! We threw a few bass back that I saw had eggs to next time we come there will be even more bass to catch! Property is kept in tip top shape and we didnt want for anything! There is a hidden"surprise" that will make you laugh but I will keep that a secret! Youll know what I mean when you discover it! Thanks for a great week with my family and great memories!

Perfect Gem! Highly Recommend by Happy Family from Maryland

I first want to personally thank the owner for sharing this property to us renters. I needed two hotel rooms for my family in Owensboro only to discover all the rooms were booked. I remembered the luck I had with VRBO before and to my surprise found this beautiful little gem. Call this divine intervention, but the layout of the property mimics a sketch I drew of my dream property. The rehabbed farmhouse is perfectly equipped, spacious, and mixes contemporary with country themes and memorabilia. Updated kitchen and appliances, furniture, and 1 full bath. The staging (interior design) for this property is straight out of a magazine! Yes, we noticed the small touches, fresh cut flowers, basket of fruit, complimentary coffee/tea, etc. Online pics do not do this place justice. I'm a real estate investor/flipper and let me say they did a great job on this rehab (yes I will be stealing ideas!). As a guest, no need to bring anything but your luggage and your food..they remembered EVERYTHING..including the fishing poles! If you have teens or folks that like old school entertainment like foos ball and the video game Galaga (classical favorite) you will not want to leave.We made a video collecting the fresh eggs-hilarious because we had no idea what to do at first, just open the bin, grab the eggs before the hens come running and wah lah-your breakfast is ready. I thought chicken coops would be stinky and messy...nope very well maintained chicken coop. We fished, no luck because only the smaller fish were biting so not sure if there are mature fish available in the beautiful pond..nonetheless it was fun anyway. No issues with excessive nets..pleasant time sitting on the porch at night. We had our own hotspot and had no interest in streaming TV because we had so many other things to do and enjoy. In fact, we added an extra night just so we could enjoy the property although our original intent was to just have a place to lay our heads for the weekend. Conveniently located near Yellow Creek Park/Reids Orchard. 10 min drive you're in downtown O'boro or the mall area. There's a convenience store, gas station, general dollar only 1 minute drive. Perfect location. Did I mention the Owner was timely, responsive, and extremely accommodating? Last note, I ended up saving $ over what it costs for hotel rooms. No competition, this was the way to go! Can you tell I fell in love with this place-I WILL be a return customer the next time I need to visit my hometown.
