House was spotless. Remodeled and furnished beautifully. More spacious than photos show. It was too cool for us to enjoy the pool but the fire table on the back porch was perfect for a chilly night. The neighborhood is picturesque. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and more. Host provided thoughtful and sufficient amenities. Stayed with family (4 adults and 5 kids 1-6 years old) and had the best weekend. So much better staying here than a hotel in separate rooms. 10/10 recommended and will be rebooking.

The house was perfect for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time in Owensboro! The only issue we had was that the doors to the downstairs bedroom do not close all the way.

This property was exceptional! It had everything we needed to cook, wash our clothes and just enjoy. We were there in mid-September so it was a little bit cool in the mornings but the pool seemed to hold the warmth of the day. Floaters (even for kids toddlers) plenty of comfy seating outside to enjoy the pool. It has a bbq grill (we didn’t use) and plenty of space around the pool. We slept in the 1st level bedroom. The king bed was very comfortable and bathroom right close by. The main bath was very big with a huge jet tub and double head shower. We didn’t use the tub (sadly) but it really looked appealing! No door to the hall for the bedroom, but there is a door going to the living area to close off if desired. The laundry room also has a door and keeps all laundry sounds silent. The kitchen was perfect for the two of us but could get crowded if you have more people. You have to use the path thru the kitchen to get to the backyard and pool from inside the house. We didn’t find this a problem at all but you might consider it if you have kids running thru to get to the pool. The living and dinning area is open. Dinning seats 6 comfortably. Living area is very spacious and open with a large sectional couch. The stairs to the second level are a tiny bit steep, but opens up to two very spacious bedrooms both with king beds. The second floor bath is a good size and has a tub. The neighborhood is very nice and full of older well kept homes. Definitely recommend!!

The coziest home in a nice neighborhood! Every corner of this space was decorated with the cutest/modern decor! Had us wishing our home was that cute. Beds were very comfortable. Home had everything we needed. We loved the coffee bar and snacks they left as well. Pool was a bit chilly (Aug 31-Sept 1) and had some leaves at the bottom of it, but overall was fine. They have pool floats there for you as well which was nice.The backyard area was just so nice! Very shady in the afternoons. We enjoyed the fire pit. This home is close to everything you need to see/do in Owensboro! Everything we did was less than a 10 minute drive away. There was a squirrel that visited us on both days of our stay here as well. Very cute!

Our stay was great. The house was clean and very well decorated. The pool was perfect for the kids and the adults. A lot of cannon balls were done in the pool over the week. We only had one issue (power outage to no fault of the host) I messaged the host fairly early and they got back to me very quickly and let me know there was an outage in my area and directed me to the map so that I could monitor it on my own. Our next trip to Owensboro, we will definitely be reaching out to book again.

Great layout and amenities for multiple families

House layout is fantastic for several families. Bedrooms are large with closets stocked with extra blankets, pillows and a small fan. The kitchen is small, but stocked with everything we needed. The stocked coffee area and basket of snacks were used daily. Both kids and adults enjoyed the large pool. We will stay here again the next time we visit the area.

This place exceeded my expectations, it was stunning! They didn’t miss a single detail and the interior decorator did an amazing job! The pool was so much fun and the area was very peaceful! We would return, this was the best experience I’ve ever had in a short term rental, there are zero complaints, it was so perfect!

Perfect Home for Our Volleyball Tournament Weekend!

We stayed at this home for a volleyball tournament and it was absolutely perfect! The house was incredibly spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, just like the photos, but even better in person. It had everything we needed and more, plenty of thoughtful extras that made the stay super comfortable.The location was fantastic, tucked away on a quiet street but still close to tons of great restaurants and things to do. What really stood out was the host’s communication, so friendly and helpful! They reached out ahead of time with weather updates (flooding was expected in the area) and stayed in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. That extra level of care was so appreciated.We’re already planning to come back in the summer, it was that good! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in Owensboro

Was in town for a family event last week. The Blue Moon Cottage is a beautiful home, with plenty of space and everything you can think of. Has to be one of the best rentals in Owensboro. Nice quiet neighborhood but also minutes away from anything you need, especially good barbecue! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town!

Charming place

We came down for my son’s wedding. The cottage was very nice, clean and all the bedrooms had lovely decor and king sized beds. The main living room was big enough for all who stayed with us. Love that we could do laundry. The pool was still open and we did get a swim in due to how warm it was outside. We absolutely loved this vrbo. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing

This property was everything we wanted and more. The pool was actually bigger than I had thought. Plenty of room for everyone. And lots of extras also…. Pool noodles, loungers, basket for of snacks (my teenagers liked that), keurig pods, extra towels, pillows, and much more. The owners were excellent to communicate with and let us check in early. It was very clean. Our main focus on our trip was to visit Holiday World in Santa Claus Indiana and it was just a short distance for us to travel to get there from this property (approx 40 minutes I think). We also visited Evansville Indiana. A lot to see and do within an hours drive and then could come “home” for a relaxing evening in the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay!
