Description:
Located near Ft Rock Park, with a convenient path behind the home, a short distance to SHARC, and approximately a mile to the Village. Carousel House is more than a stay, it's an experience. Located on a quieter cul-de-sac, details have been meticulously selected with a mix of original furniture & accessories and hand-picked vintage accents among designer furniture; this is truly a unique Sunriver home. With everything you've come to expect in a Cascara Stay (Full Kitchen, Washer/Dryer, gas BBQ, Recreation Cards, and more) plus high-end touches like the viral Rocco fridge recently featured on Shark Tank and the original mural, the Carousel House is something you'll never forget.

Kitchen:
A new dishwasher, classic avocado-colored stove, and fridge/freezer give you a mix of modern and vintage while not taking away from the ability to make your own meals. All the pots, pans, dishes, and glassware are well stocked and feature the Aspen line from Crate & Barrel. The kitchen is stocked and ready to help you enjoy meal time, snack time, and even happy hour. The owners are enthusiastic foodies who have everything to put together for an impressive charcuterie board. Other extras are Ridel wine glasses, champagne flutes, stemless wine glasses, and everything you need to make and serve a martini. Portland-based Garden Club ceramics created a line of mugs exclusive to CH.

Dining:
The table has four seats while against the wall, but can be pulled out to seat 6 indoors. During the summer, outdoor dining on the deck under the Central Oregon sky is an experience that is not to be missed.

Living Area:
The main living area features a La-Z-Boy couch with pull-out bed, reproduction Eames chair, set of vintage chairs original to the home, Rocco Beverage Fridge, 40” Smart TV, karaoke machine, and a Victrola LP player along with a collection of records to listen to. Cozy up with one of the beautiful Seek & Swoon blankets. The home is stocked with a selection of puzzles and board games, with a spacious coffee table to set up on. Conversation and connections happen easily in a relaxing setting that feels like you are in a 70s time capsule.

Bedroom 1:
While the ceiling comes to a center midpoint as a carousel top, bedroom one has been enclosed with its own ceiling, giving privacy to the Queen bed featuring Marimekko bedding, a new Jenny Lind frame, and two mid-century modern nightstands.

Bedroom 2:
The walls don't reach the angled carousel ceiling, so auditory privacy isn't to be expected, but the King bed featuring a designer Jenny Lind bed frame, Marimekko bedding, acrylic nightstands, and a vanity/desk with a mirror is a retreat in itself. The space includes an en-suite half bath.

Full Bath:
Behind the Kitchen is a hall that leads to the Full Bath. The laundry closet houses a full washer/dryer and a variety of stocked amenities. The bath features a classic Avocado shower/tub combo, toilet, and sink set in a modern cabinet.

Deck:
The Front Deck features a gas BBQ and a dining table for 6. Two Adirondack chairs are also available, perfect for sipping your morning coffee. The house includes a full set of melamine outdoor dishes, plastic wine glasses, and cups.

Vintage Tech:
Carousel House is meant to blend today with yesteryear and to do so means having some true-to-era pieces, such a tube TV, VCR, and more. Because of the age, on occasion some aspects may be in non-working order or will be in the process of being replaced. We'll be keeping an eye on this as best we can, however - due to their age, not all pieces are guaranteed to be the same as pictured or functional.

Recreation Plus (SHARC) Passes:
This home includes 6 Recreation Plus Passes, which include access to the SHARC pool, Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Boat Launch, and Disc Golf

Pet Policy:
Cascara welcomes pets in this home for an additional fee of $20 per night/per pet. See our Terms and Conditions for the full Cascara and Sunriver policies.

Disclaimer: If you are hoping to host an event at Carousel House, please contact us prior to booking. All events must receive prior approval through the Sunriver Homeowners Association.

Security:
As a security measure for you and our owners, we will send you a Verification Request after you book a reservation via our partner, Guest Ranger. Please complete it as soon as possible so we can verify your stay. If we cannot verify your stay, we may cancel your reservation.

Booking Channel Guests:
Any time you book with us, but not on our site, for simplicity's sake, we have combined all fees into a single group. That group can include Cleaning, Resort Fee, Card Processing, and Hot Tub maintenance (all when applicable). The Service Fee is the booking site's fee, not ours.

*All items within the homes are inspected periodically. Items such as bicycles at homes are to be used at guests' personal risk. Such items are to be inspected by the guest prior to use. Guests are to report any needed repairs to such items. Cascara is not liable for and does not guarantee the quality, functionality, or safety of bikes or other items provided at the property.
