Host was super responsive and the location is great. We didn't need use of it, but the basement is a great bonus space. Walking distance to everything, well appointed, comfy beds, plenty of kitchen ware. Fenced yard was great for our pup.

Austin and Leslie were wonderful hosts, making sure that our stay was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Austin was wonderful about making sure that a forgotten item was mailed to me as quickly as possible. The location is very convenient, an easy walk to town and the beach - a perfect get-away spot.

The cottage was well equipped and in a great location for exploring the area. We were two couples plus a golden retriever and we all felt very comfortable. The dining table is perfect for games and meals. We had a great time.

The space was wonderful and the host provided everything you may need to go to the beach. Bed was comfy Check in and out was easy. Our only concern was the bath in the master. It was difficult to shower because there was no curtains to protect the wall/window.

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Fox Lake Cottage. The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything you need while still feeling like a relaxing getaway. The hosts were fantastic: friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with from start to finish.The cottage itself was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, comfortable, and well cared for. It made for the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some time away. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was cozy but There was plenty of room for the four of us. We didn’t cook meals but the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could think of. We used the fire pit one evening at home, making smores (using a kit provided by the owners - a special extra touch).Also loved the location. Only a five minute walk to all the attractions in town, including the beach. Only used our car once, to drive to a local brew pub. Me really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Such a great location! We were able to walk to resturants with our toddler. The basement was a big hit with both our kids and dogs. The place is so well stocked. We've never been to a place that had everything from coffee, seasonings, drinks, and all the needed dishes. They had kid books, toys, and even a teepee. Beach items were great too from a wagon to kid chairs to toys.The only thing for just a heads up to others, none of the rooms have curtains. They only have blinds. It made it hard for our kids to have naps and go to bed while the sun was still up. Black out or even room darkening curtains would've been helpful.

We booked this for our anniversary/St. Patty's day celebration. This being probably our 15th trip to New Buffalo, we have rented maybe 10 different homes in the area. This "cozy cottage" is now a new favorite! Perfectly located within blocks of the downtown, it is just loaded with charm, and the owners have utilized every inch of it to create that. The vaulted ceiling and loft area create a really cool vibe, while keeping the charm of an older home. The master BR is surprisingly large, and the other two Brs. are a nice size. Again, in the 3rd BR they have laid it out to use the space really well. We don't have kids, but the loft and the furnished basement are great places for kids to explore and hang out. This house is super clean and fresh and the kitchen is charming and well appointed. It was snowing out, so we couldn't use the yard, but both it, and the home, offer an unexpected level of privacy, in a lake area setting. The owners, Austin and Leslie, were very easy to communicate with, and very helpful when we had a slight issue of our own making. I gladly give this home and it's owners five stars. Rent this one with confidence.

Wonderful property within walking distance of all the downtown attractions. The beautiful, private fenced-in yard was a great place to relax.
