Dieses geräumige Haus in Seaside hat alles! Mit einem privaten Whirlpool, zahlreichen Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, einem separaten Studio und viel Platz für bis zu neun Gäste und zwei Hunde wird jeder hier eine fantastische Zeit verbringen.

Das Haus liegt nur 100 Meter (zwei Minuten zu Fuß) östlich der Promenade und bietet einen einfachen Zugang zum Strand. Es ist ein idealer Ort, um das gesamte Angebot von Seaside zu nutzen. Sie können einen kurzen Spaziergang die Promenade entlang machen, um in die Innenstadt zu gelangen, in der es viele Restaurants, zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und andere Aktivitäten wie ein Aquarium und ein Karussell gibt. An anderer Stelle in der Stadt gibt es mehr Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sie können jedoch auch eine kurze 25-minütige Fahrt in Richtung Norden zum historischen Astoria oder eine 15-minütige Fahrt in Richtung Süden zum fantastischen Ecola State Park oder zur charmanten Stadt Cannon Beach unternehmen.

Dieses Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zweieinhalb Badezimmern ist eigentlich ein vollständiges Haus und eine separate, freistehende Studioeinheit über der Garage, die sich ideal für ein Paar oder ein paar Teenager eignet, um ein wenig mehr Privatsphäre zu genießen. In den Häusern finden Sie zahlreiche Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, darunter WLAN, Kabel-TV, DVD-Player und Filme zum Anschauen, Brettspiele, einen Kickertisch und sogar eine Garage, die zu einem Spielzimmer mit Ping-Pong umgebaut wurde. Loved that it was dog friendly, but the hot tub does not work which was one of the main reasons we picked this place. It was fine on the inside, mostly old rental stuff but it’s right by the beach so it was fine for a few days.

Location and price were great so we were satisfied. Just like every other coast rental. Run down and needs updating and repairs Musty smells and cobwebs and mold and rustBathroom Doors are broken Hot tub was dirty water and full of sandHot tub wasnt working and had to get service guy out. He half fixed it but jets were weak and heater went out so it was just a warm tubSlider doesn't lock. All the same complaints as other reviews so i guess they dont care too much about what you say about itAll in all. Its still good price and proximity. Would not stay here again

House was tidy, hot tub was clean and perfect temperature. Out door fire place did not work, washer wouldn’t spin properly kept on acting like load was not even which it was and it was a smaller load too. We would have liked to have some extra blankets as well. Overall we were very happy with our stay especially being so close to the ocean.

Horrible customer service. Condition was terrible. Broken things everywhere. The listing I paid for through this site says the garage IS INCLUDED. When we got there vacasa said it wasnt. The house was filthy. Stains everywhere. The unit above the garage had no working fan. Had damaged furniture and it was miserable for those who had no where else to sleep. I contacted the vacasa the day we checked in and multiple MULTIPLE times since then and no refund has occured. Im getting the run around and absolutely no help. This place should not be rented out to anyone. I have multiple additional photos it will not let me attach. It also rained a lot and the side door leaked into the house.

Property was clean and in a nice neighborhood with easy beach access. The Internet does not work in the studio above the garage. They advertise a bbq but there was no propane. The pans in the kitchen are garbage and should be replaced. It sleeps nine but eight of those people need to be ok sharing a bed. Overall it was ok especially for the price.

Check out my yelp review for full details. This house has so much potential, but the owners are ultimately at fault for the rundown state of this house. The photos are deceptive and it was nearly impossible to feel like I was really on vacation. I felt dirty the entire time I was here. It’s unacceptable and appalling to think someone would be comfortable renting this house to people going on vacation. I am leaving this house questioning the morality of the owner. I doubt his own residence looks and smells this way. Nearly all the other reviewers have said similar things, I just didn’t think the uncleanliness would be to this scale. Extremely dirty, smells of urine everywhere, mold, dirt and grime in windows, tracks, floor. Walls and baseboards covered in dirt and food. Seat cushions never cleaned out, leftover cheez-its and dog hair in cushions. Broken bathroom door. Plastic dishes and peeling teflon pots/pans. Outside photos were probably taken a decade ago by the way.

It’s unacceptable and appalling to think someone would be comfortable renting this house to people going on vacation. I am leaving this house questioning the morality of the owner. I doubt his residence looks and smells this way. Nearly all the other reviewers have said similar things, I just didn’t think the uncleanliness would be to this scale: 1. The house smells of urine as soon as you step in. Even when you wake up in bed, the smell is on the blankets. Had to air out the house every day. The owner needs to rip out the carpet and get flooring. Multiple rough and icky stains on area rugs in living room and bedroom that I stepped on. Possible dog vomit or diarrhea stain? 2. Mold and dirt accumulating in windowsills, looks like they’ve never been cleaned. I get it, it’s the Oregon coast. But get yourself a steam cleaner and mildew spray as part of your monthly cleaning? 3. Dust covering back window blinds by washer/dryer 4. Broken bathroom door. Every time you close it, the upper corner remains trapped in the frame when you open it because the door is quite literally broken in half. I did tell Vacasa and they are aware. 5. The back sliding door lock is broken. They provide you with a wooden bat to place in the track though so you can keep safe. The track is disgusting as well. 6. The back side door lock is broken too. 7. Food/drink stains running down the walls on the side of the bed in the upstairs area 8. Dust, dirt and grime covering the baseboards, floors are a mess, rust coming through paint. When was the last time this place was painted? 9. Blinds are all broken and wonky in the apartment upstairs. 10. Woke up to a big trail of ants right above my husband’s head. Someone left crumbs and it wasn’t us. 11. It was rainy and cold during our visit and the gas seemed to be turned off to the furnace. Had 2 space heaters. 12. Left over discolored cheez-its with candy wrappers and lots of hair in the upstairs nook, in-between the seating cushions and wall. 13. The washer is unbalanced and does not spin the load dry. My clothes were sopping wet. Tried to remove towels and spin lighter load but did not help. I did tell Vacasa about this. 14. Still no oven mitts like the 2 previous reviewers mentioned from 6 months ago! Only 5 coffee mugs and plastic bowls to eat hot soup out of, peeling teflon pots and pans to cook your food in. Lame. Don’t give this owner your money. The income they generate from renting this house does NOT go back into improving the state of it. You’ll need to be getting on your hands and knees with some heavy elbow grease and scrub brushes to fix this house. This isn’t a job for a cleaning crew to turn around for the next renter. This needs some remodeling and a deep clean. I worked hard to take my family on a nice vacation and sadly, I got jipped. I doubt your restaurant in Rockaway Beach is in such sad state of affairs.

Safety concerns

I’m not normally a negative reviewer but these are worth mentioning. Main concerns- the railing at the top of the stairs was broken and a child could easily fall through. Vacasa responded but never got back to me. Serious safety concern. We bought a hammer and nails because it was that concerning. I couldn’t in my clear conscience leave it for the next guest. We were never able to access the garage for bikes, etc and vacasa/owner never got back to us. This was a big bummer for my kids. Hot tub had green foam and no access to chlorine tablets. Vacasa was notified and no response. Gate and some fencing broken so not 100% dog proof but we hammered a couple spots of fence and rescrewed the gate latch to help. Vacasa was notified of all of these concerns. House was cute, it could use some TLC to make it even better. The loft above garage was fun. Good neighborhood and access to beach. 10-15 min walk to roundabout.

Pearl off the Prom

The house and Loft above the garage are nice. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and having at home Breakfast/Lunch/Dinners. The living room is comfy. Bedrooms nice sized. Bathrooms are good as well. Having a laundry rooms is nice. Hot tub was great, plenty warm! Internet is more than fast enough. The location of the house to the beach is awesome! Walking to the beach is more then doable, especially during the busy days where the parking is full. The purple chairs in the living room were not there when we stayed there. They may have been moved elsewhere by previous tenants, I guess. The place was clean, except the floor in the kitchen area felt a little sticky. The loft is great for teenagers, not so for kids under 12. Also, the loft could use a Roku as well. The loft tv didn't have an antenna for over the air tv channels. The coffee pot is non-Keurig coffee. This is fine, just would have liked to know in the description so we could be better prepared. The utility box outside the garage appears to have been broken into, or an attempt to open it appears to have been made. The grill needs new burner tubes. The burner tubes currently in the grill are damaged and leaking near the gas entry points of the tubes. Might want to replace, if you have a Home Depot nearby. I didn't look at what model grill was there so not putting it in here.Yes, we could stay here again if and when we visit Seaside again! Thank you for our stay.Best Regards,Bob, Genny and family!

Nice stay

The apartment over the garage was where we chose to spend most of our time. It had a lot of windows that let in the evening breeze.The tv up there didn't work well, but we didn't come to the beach to watch TV. The hot tub was relaxing and the yard was sufficient for my pup to run around in. The main house could use some updating, but it's definitely cute.

Cozy little Spot

We had a great stay at this spot with 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 big dogs and it was perfect. The loft above the garage was amazing and such a cool spot for the kids to sleep in so they were separate and felt all grown up but close enough to us for safety. The grassy spot in the back was nice for the dogs and it being all fenced in was great. The proximity to the beach was sooooo awesome and is less than a 5 min walk. Our family would definitely stay here again :) Rated 4 stars just because of little things such as burnt out light bulbs, broken tiles in kitchen. Small things that would not keep us from coming back.

Perfect location but grubby interior

The location can't be beat. It was technically a safe and "clean" home, but no amount of housecleaning service can fix the grubby appearance of rust showing through paint, the crumbling door around the hall bathroom doorknob, the deeply gross back door frame by the laundry room. It was extremely difficult for me to relax and feel like I was on vacation with these aesthetic issues surrounding me. I gave the cleaning staff five stars upon arrival because, seriously, you can tell they try. There's just a lot to overcome that cleaning can't touch. I never entered the separate unit over the garage because the door code didn't work there. You'll have to blow your nose using toilet paper - there are just the basics here. That said, perfect location.

As we entered the house, it was sooo smelly, I’m not against animals but being a person with no pets, I can tell that the house smells like dogs has been staying there for days. Visible fur on rugs (thick fur), carpets, sofa, glass door curtains and even on the beds! If only I can upload pics. It seemed that it wasn’t vac at all! I wonder if the beddings were even changed! I left a message to them and said they will said a housekeeper the next day since it was already after hours, good thing there was a vacuum in the house, so i did the vacuuming! Flip all the beddings! I had to cover the sofas with bedsheet & lysol sprayed. We had to go to the store to buy lysol spray and air freshener just to minimize the smell and had to open the windows to vent. It’s an old house though, bathrooms & kitchen are clean. The garage which where the pingpong table is located is a mess! It’s a storage area, creepy! Looks like it hasn’t been used for the longest. We had to clean the pingpong table. Hot tub, has little sand on it. I love the location, very close to the beach and main street.

The place was amazing. It was so close to down town Seaside. It was clean and my kids enjoyed the hot tub and the other ammenities. We would totally stay there again.

Great location and get away

We and our two dogs visited and loved the space. Nice backyard, hot tub, and additional separate space above the garage. Close to beach. A street or two over.

Nice place, heat needs repair

The place was nice overall & as appears in photos. Hot tub was nice. The gas fire place was not working but space heaters were provided, just a little uncomfortable leaving those on. Neighborhood is great, ranked a 4 as drive entry is a bit tight for a full size truck.

Average rental but Great Support

The property itself is in a nice location. It does need some work though, as the front door digital lock did not work, there were tiles in the kitchen that were broken, cooking utensils were flimsy and rusted, the home had a pet odor, porch railings were showing signs of rot, and the main heat of the home was not functioning properly. The property management for this location deserves 5 stars for being communicative and supporting us as we reported issues. When the heat was out they contacted the service company to come and work on the unit. When it went out again over the weekend, they offered to even come provide heaters if we needed them (some were in the home). They handled the situation to the best of their ability.

Great location. Everything else? Not so much.

Just a block from the Seaside promenade, which was great. And the hot tub was perfect for evenings after a day on the beach. But this place has seen wear and tear, and really could use some TLC. It was comfortable and spacious, though, and the electric fireplace in the living room definitely took the chill off the damp evenings.

Not the best...

We stayed here years ago and was hoping to enjoy this house again. But it has really fallen apart. Sofa sleeper was broken, the fridge was pretty dirty, must have been crab in there and not cleaned. Clogged drain in the suite above garage. Wasnt very clean. For what we paid, I expected more. Won't be staying here again...

would definitely NOT recommend

This house is not a “charming” beach house, it’s just old and run down. Issues we had with our stay (which were communicated privately with Vacasa and they did not respond to): - The main house smells like urine. Overwhelmingly, not just the usual musty beach house smell. - The entry code we received worked for the main house but not for the studio. We had to call twice and were eventually given several codes to try on multiple lockboxes located around the house, in which we subsequently ended up with a physical key to get into the studio with. - The studio does not have internet (the wifi signal from the main house does not reach the studio, and there is no router in the studio itself). With 4 teenagers in our group who were staying in the studio this was a big issue. - The studio does not have cable tv. It only has an old DVD player. And with no wifi in the studio, streaming tv/movies on the Roku we brought with us wasn’t an option. Again, not great with 4 teenagers. - Multiple window screens in the house are ripped, including the one on the sliding door in the master bedroom. With no air conditioning, and with the previously mentioned awful smell, the windows needed to be open most of the time and the ripped screens resulted in a lot of flies in the house.

Poor supplies/Good communication

The home itself and the room above the garage were fine. The communication with Vacasa was fine and the only reason I bumped the rating up from 2 star to 3. No one at Vacasa knew the elock code to get into the room above the garage. Not even the guy that installed the elock. I (the renter) had to search for the backup key. The supplies (or lack of) were NOT fine. Some of the folded linens were wet and musty so I had to wash them. The sheet set on one of the beds was still wet. Linen closet shelves were broken and linens not organized. The kitchen supplies were crap. Flimsy, old, unusable utensils, pans and baking sheets. Tons of plates but only a few bowls. No storage containers. No bakeware. I asked for all of the above to be fixed and they did send someone with new supplies. You’re welcome future renters! Lastly, the pull out couch had a hidden note under the cushion saying “broken do not use”. I needed that bed for my kids so I complained to Vacasa. They sent maintenance the next day and they showed me how to make it work. So maybe it’s not broken? Just has to be wriggled a certain to work? Not sure, but I used it all week. Vacasa should look into this.
