Great location! Very close to the beaches, shops and Restaurants. The rental is very clean with lots of beach stuff. Host supplies plenty of towels. Overall a definite 5. We would definitely come back.

Ivan's place is less than a block from the beach. With the market below, snacks and drinks for the beach were very convenient. I specifically looked for something with outdoor space and the deck upstairs nailed it! I could watch the waves every morning with my coffee. The proximity to every possible type of food you could want within walking distance was also fantastic. I highly recommend The Joint for sushi. We'll definitely be back!!

This is a great place in Ocean Beach. So close to the sand you don’t even need shoes. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunset, you can even see the ocean from there. Even though it’s right on top of a convenience store, the area was nice and quiet at night. You could sleep 8 but it would be tight for the size of the home. Also close to many great restaurants for dinner. One of the things I love about ocean beach is you can park your car when you get there and easily walk everywhere you need to go.

Check in was quick and easy. Host was super easy to get ahold of and communicate with. Great location; literally a football field length from the beach.

Great place to stay. The owner communicates very well with you before, during, and after your stay. You cannot beat the location, one block away from the beach. The town has a very friendly and laid-back vibe. The apartment was well furnished and well equipped, and very comfortable. The market below the unit is very handy, Newport Avenue is the Main Street in town, with cool bars and restaurants. We enjoyed one of the best cheeseburgers and shakes in the world at Hodad’s! There’s even a small Target on Newport Avenue that has groceries as well as other typical Target items. The only drawback is that parking is limited to street-side parking, though most of the time you can find a parking spot within a couple of blocks of the unit, and on rare occasions, maybe up to four blocks away from the unit.

Gut: Lage
The apartment nice and clean. There was enough space for my group of 5. Which was 3 adults and 2 teens. We loved being a short walk down the alley from the beach. I like the fact there are chairs and other beach accessories in the closet. Thankful for the AC. It has one bathroom and that wasn't a problem. One bedroom did not have a TV. If you are one who cooks on vacation there are basic cooking items. We did not rent a car because there is not a parking spot for this apartment other than street parking and it looks like it gets packed. There is a strèet a half mile walk away bars, a grocery store that was a lifesaver(we got in late and most eating places had closed) and a Target. The apartment sits ontop of a liquor store. We needed dinner and beware there are no fast food places in walking distance. The location is close to the Ocean Beach strip of shops and bars. The area looks sketchy but seems to shutdown at 9 and is very quiet. We (2 females) walking after 9pm insearch of food with our gaurd up encountered no trouble a few unhoused people but they didnt bother us as we passed. The area is good. The host also answered questions and good with communication.
