This was an awesome location, close to everything we wanted. Rental was very clean and comfortable. Our two girls especially loved to have the backyard to play in and to looking for birds and animals by the creek!

This place was perfect for my husband and I. We came into town to watch our daughter graduate from the University of Michigan and this was a great space for us. Lovely neighborhood, great view, very spacious and super comfortable. I'm so very glad I came upon this gem in VRBO! Next time we come, we're going to bring our dog since it was very welcoming to dogs, too!

Jamie was extremely welcoming! It was straightforward getting inside, the place was clean and comfortable, and a great place for dogs. Jamie left out dog treats, dog bed, and dog toys! I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Ann Arbor.

This is an amazing place to stay. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood right down the street from the Michigan Stadium and downtown Ann Arbor!! It has a nice amount of space and was very clean!!! The heated floors in the bathroom were great! The host was very responsive! Would definitely stay here again!!

My husband and I brought our two Boston terriers for the weekend and had an amazing experience. The apartment was very clean, with updated appliances and comfy furniture. Jamie was extremely responsive and the check in process was seamless. There are two dogs on the property, but Jamie was really good about keeping them inside while we were out with ours. The area is fenced in securely and we felt safe to let our smaller dogs out without worry. The neighborhood is really nice with paved sidewalks and a nearby park. It’s also close enough to downtown, but it was nice to be away from the city a bit. It did mean having to drive most places, although that was partially because of the weather. This was a great place to stay and it was perfect for the dogs. Thanks again Jamie!

The property is basically a one bedroom apartment. It is lovely! The pictures don't capture how comfortable, warm and inviting it is. The kitchen is unbelievably well stocked. It is open to the living room area which is dominated by a large, cushy modular sofa. The television is great! However, it did take me awhile to figure out the Roku tv format. The bedroom is large and has 3 beds which could comfortably sleep 4 people. The living room sofa could add 2 additional sleeping options if needed. The bath is off the bedroom and again is stocked with everything one might want in a bath, including shampoo, body wash and lotion. The shower was to die for! Water pressure was great!The host was very helpful but not at all intrusive. She has separated the back yard into 2 distinct spaces with fencing, one side for VRBO visitors and one for her family and their dogs. My 8 year old malti-poo loved running and playing in the yard. It is green and plush and overlooks what I am assuming is a tributary of the Huron River. It's quite beautiful! There is a covered patio area where VRBO visitors can have their morning coffee and/or choose to eat their lunch and/or dinner there.The entrance to the apartment is located off the back yard patio. The path to get there runs along one side of the house and could be a little difficult to navigate if a visitor has any kind of physical disability or balance issues.I had a great time at the Arbor Hideaway and think you will too!

Jamie's Hideaway was an excellent place to recuperate after my recent visit to Uof M Medical. It is everything that is advertised and more. The setting is in a lovely and quiet residential location of AnnArbor, but an easy drive to Whole Foods, and CVS. My son and I watched two herons, saw many birds, just sitting at the table under the covered patio. Jamie is a personable host and made our stay as perfect as possible.

A Bird Watcher’s and animal lovers serene paradise ! The property is sparkling clean and just adorable. We loved sipping morning coffee on the outdoor patio area watching all the local wildlife on the water. And having a nightcap under the cute patio lights after a long day exploring. Very peaceful and so quiet. Dogs enjoyed the big yard and there was even a dog bed, dog toys and treats! Quick 8-10 minute drive to downtown Ann Arbor with an TON of yummy diverse food options. Bedroom is much bigger than it looks in pictures and plenty of room for a family. If you have mobility issues the pathway to the backyard entrance would be tough but we had no problems. We would absolutely stay here again. Host was super receptive and responded quickly to any questions. They also provided tons of extras like shower supplies, hand soaps, kitchen soaps, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, toilet paper… maybe it was left behind from other guests but We really appreciated all of it. Beautiful property in a very peaceful quiet neighbourhood.

The entrance to the apartment was in the back of the property so we had to walk on the grass which in our case was wet from a recent storm before we hit some wood planks that varied from even to angled.If you have mobility issues contact the owner for assistance.
