This is a beautiful apartment with very modern decor and amenities. The location is right downtown and perfect for walking to all stores and restaurants. The beds were so comfortable. The whole place is just cozy. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, even offering suggestions on places to eat and things to do. We will 100% book here again! Our family had a wonderful time relaxing in this home!

What a great place! We will be back. Clean & Excellent communication with the owners. Two bedrooms overlook Main Street and the other two are located on the opposite side of the residence. Please be mindful of the fact that there is another apartment below you. Without giving the address, this is located in the vicinity of the De Soto house. Easy walking distance from all of the downtown shops. We were even able to drop our first load of bags at the apartment before Round two ;).

The house is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. We came for a wedding and were able to have all of our kids and their significant others stay with us. It's within walking distance of numerous restaurants and cute shops. My only complaint would be that there is a coffee maker and even ground coffee in the kitchenette, but nothing to drink it out of. Not one mug, no disposable cups, just the pot. I feel that considering the price we paid for the weekend they could at least provide disposable coffee cups. Other than that we had an amazing stay.

Fabulous stay

This property is perfect for going to Galena! Can't get a better location -- but be prepared for some stair climbing. The interior is fantastic -- lots of room, great decor. The owner was very attentive to questions and responded quickly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Perfect Getaway!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful VRBO property, and I can't say enough good things about it! The home was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The open concept design made the space feel incredibly spacious yet cozy, perfect for both relaxing and entertaining.The attention to detail in the decor was evident, and every corner of the house was thoughtfully designed. The communication with the owner was excellent! they were responsive, helpful, and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. After our visit, I contacted the owner about the pillow in the room I stayed in to see how I could obtain one. The owner could have ignored me, since my visit was over, but went to lengths to help me find the pillow I wanted. Amazing.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Wow!!!! Location is Perfect.

Very nice!!! Everything we needed for a quick family weekend away. Location is right on Main Street. Whole family sleept well beds and bedding are very comfortable and cozy. We will definitely be back.

Great property! All was clean. Huge amount of room for kids to roam. Beds and bedrms very large. Could fall out of your bed onto main street. Every thing you need to get your family thru several days away from home has been provided. Paper towels, garbage bags , dishes, towels etc. Improvements: One sink was partially plugged. Partially unplugged it. No where in the two beautiful shower rms to place your shampoo except the floor. Host instructions on site tell you to strip the linens and start a load of laundry before you leave. I’m not paying what we paid to do laundry. Parking is dicey. Our gripes are minor and the property and experience well worth any minor negatives. Can’t imagine anyone not wanting to come back.

Perfect for our needs!

We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday with several family couples and this location and property was awesome!! Just a short walk from everything downtown and centrally located. Everything was clean and fresh. We met the owners and they are super nice!!!

We have been at 205 S Main in Galena IL for 12 years- originally rented the space for A Clover On Main Spa & Salon. As our family grew we decided to close the spa to be able to spend more family time together. We started renovations of the building in January 2017 and reopens first floor as Elle & Becks - Lifestyle Boutique - coffee & gelato bar & overnight suites. The loft suite is located on the third floor of the building and opened at the end of December 2017.
