The Space

Welcome to your 3-bedroom (plus a sleeping loft!), 2-bath lakefront cabin on Whitefish Lake in Garrison, Minnesota. This spacious retreat sleeps up to 10 guests with 3 queen beds, 2 full beds, and twin bunk beds. The main cabin offers three bedrooms, while the fully heated and air-conditioned loft over the garage provides a fourth area for sleeping and lounging — perfect for older kids, teens, or couples who enjoy extra privacy.

Need to mix work with play? You’ll love the charming “She Shed” office, a separate workspace just steps from the main house, providing a quiet spot for remote work or creative projects while still being close to the action.

Step outside to your private dock on Little Whitefish Lake. Spend mornings fishing, afternoons swimming or paddling, and evenings around the firepit under the stars. The expansive yard and peaceful setting are ideal for both relaxation and small gatherings.

* Fishing and Boating – Fish right on Little Whitefish Lake for panfish, northern pike, crappies, and bass. Bring your own boat, and use the boat launch at Little Whitefish Resort for $20. Tie up at the dock on the property during your stay. Just a short drive away, Mille Lacs Lake offers world-famous walleye and muskie fishing. Local marinas provide boat rentals, bait, and gear.
* Trails and Parks – Hike or bike the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area (25 minutes away), a nationally recognized trail system with lakes, mine pits, and mountain biking. Climb the fire tower at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park (13 mins). Nearby Father Hennepin State Park has sandy swimming beaches and picnic areas.
* Golfing – Tee off at Northwood Hills Golf Course (6 minutes away) or explore several scenic golf courses in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

* Smoke-Free Space – Please keep the indoors fresh for everyone—no smoking inside. (A $300 cleaning fee applies if detected.)
* No Parties or Events – You’re welcome to invite day visitors and enjoy small get-togethers during your stay. We just ask that you keep things respectful — no large parties, events, or activities that might cause extra mess, damage, or disturb the neighbors.
* Guest List – For everyone’s safety and comfort, only registered guests are allowed unless we’ve chatted and approved otherwise.
* Quiet Hours – Let’s keep it cozy from 10 PM to 8 AM so everyone (including the neighbors!) can relax.
* Exterior cameras are located at the garage exterior and front entrance for security. No cameras are inside the home.
* Pet-Friendly – We happily welcome up to 2 well-behaved furry friends. It’s $100 per pet, per stay (we’ll handle the second fee separately).
* Pet Cleanup – Please tidy up after your pets, both inside and outside. Extra mess may result in additional cleaning fees.
