It was the perfect location for beach access. Has provided chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for drinks. Loved the pool and the resident cat (: Super safe with a guarded entrance. Communication with the management company was excellent, with check-in instructions provided quickly. Loved having check-out instructions that were "turn off the lights and lock the doors." Easy quick walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. We loved spending our New Year's here. Family friendly. Highly recommend!

Beautiful pool at this spacious condominium.

Great spot in Tamarindo. The pool and swim up bar were the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach or around town. Walking distance to more than you'll ever need during your stay.

Beautiful well-appointed condo

This is a very comfortable and well-appointed condo in a beautiful resort. Our child loved the pool and we loved being close to numerous restaurants and shops so we didn’t need a car. We had a great time during our one week vacation and would definitely consider returning.

Family vacation in Tamarindo

Our stay in this Matapalo condo was perfect. The condo was spacious, clean and welcoming. So convenient to the pool and the beach really was a 2 min walk! Lots to do and see, places to eat and shop all a short walk from the condo. Our family enjoyed it very much. Felt very safe here. Condo was as pictured, really beautiful and great view of the pool.

Absolutely Perfect

I have been staying at the Diria for about 10 years in the hotel area. I stumbled on this condo while searching and it was our best experience. So much more room, an extra bedroom and we were together under 1 roof. The location is ideal for parking and getting to the pool/beach. We will def be staying here again!

Perfect location!

We had so much fun at this vrbo in the Diria resort. It was very spacious and so close to restaurants and activities. The only issue we had was check in. We didnt know where to park the car until I finally got out and asked the person that was managing the gate. I wasnt aware that the code we were given wasnt used for the gate also. Not a huge deal though. They provided coffee but no filters so bring those if you're a coffee lover. They provided an ample amount of beach towels which was nice. We would stay here again!

Enjoyed the condo. Was great for family, with lots of space and awesome resort pool. Add in the fact it’s in the middle of town and across the street from the beach is a major plus. Only issue was finding the unit, since the side street was under construction, was not given alternate instructions on where to go.

Outstanding Condo

Stayed for 5 nights at the condo with my wife and two sons. Condo was as advertised. It was super clean and matched the pictures. The pool at the Diria was great, and the condo location provided an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Check-in process with Olber was super easy and Olber was super helpful and setup our shuttle from the condo to the airport. We would definitely stay at this condo again.

Condo was fantastic. Very clean and updated. Dishwasher leaked a couple of times for some reason but not a big deal. Property is beautiful. Best pool ever, very secure resort, easy access to the beach, shops, food, live music, fire shows, surfing, and any kind of tour booking you want. Family and I definitely plan to come back.

We had a great time at the Diria Condo. Did not receive the check-in process two days before as was promised but did finally get it an hour before our arrival. Tried to get a late check-out and messaged Property Manager but never received a response. Overall we had fun there.

Great stay

Very nice condo. Listing is a little deceiving because it looks like a ground floor back yard. That back space has so much potential . Needs patio stones or even pea gravel - maybe even artificial grass. The unit needs an instruction book - where to put garbage - how to work the Tv . Our only other complaint is the second bedroom needs a clothes wardrobe or at least some hooks . All in all a great condo. We have booked that condo for two years from now for a month. Thanks

Tamarindo Vacation

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) had an amazing week in Tamardindo and the accommodations were perfect. The condo was very nice, clean, comfortable beds, great cooking supplies, beautiful patio area. The location was very central and made it very easy to walk around to the beach, restaurants, farmers market. We also decided to rent a golf cart for our stay and it was convenient to park it right on the property. The security was very good, both in their attention to detail in terms of who was coming and going, but also very friendly. We used the concierge service for arranging tours and transport to/from the airport. He always responded promptly, met our needs, answered questions - it was great! The only thing that confused us was that we thought that we would also have access to the Diria hotel pool area but this turned out not to be the case. Aside from that, everything else was perfect!

Okay overall

We've stayed at a handful of condos at Diria, and this particular unit was my least favorite. It wasn't bad by any stretch, but this unit is definitely showing some wear and tear. There appears to be mold in the master tub's caulking, and the drain backed up. The shower head was also really low - my husband had to duck to get his head. The granite countertop in front of the cooktop is cracked on both sides and we thought it was going to fall onto the floor. Also, the pictures of the outside space are a little misleading. One tree right in front of the patio has grown so big since these pictures were taken that it obstructed any view. The lawn area was also not really a lawn but was instead a mud patch. Then, to make matters worse, on our second day workers came by with scaffolding and set it up RIGHT in front of the patio...where it stayed for the whole trip...and workers were working directly outside the unit the whole time. The patio got completely filthy as a result, so much that we didn't really even want to be out there. We tried to make the best of it - after all, property owners have no control over when maintenance is done on the building, and it's got to be done some time! We just got unlucky with timing. There is also an AC unit directly beside the patio, and it's very loud and runs pretty constantly. Doesn't make for the best outside space. Other than this stuff, the condo was fine...and it's not like we went to Diria to sit at the condo the whole time anyway! The pool is great, and we loved the pool bar. It does seem like Diria's customer service isn't what it used to be, though. Nothing was terrible, but there were quite a few instances that weren't great (being double charged for food that we never received and having to sit there for 20 minutes at checkout while they tried to "verify" taking a $29 charge off our bill, being turned away from having breakfast at the restaurant because apparently only hotel guests can eat there now (we've eaten there on previous trips), paying $9 for a 3/4-full margarita every time we ordered at the pool bar (like the little plastic cup margaritas, not some huge bowl margarita). We eventually just enjoyed the pool and stopped using Diria for any services and instead visited the other restaurants in Tamarindo. I know I sound like a Karen complaining about all this little stuff...like I said, nothing was horrible, it's just that all these little things added up and it wasn't like other years.

We had a great stay in the condo. It was extremely comfortable. It seems that it the timing of our trip was after a wet season. The curtains in the master had some mold on the window side and the master bathroom had mold in grout which happens from time to time. The grassy area off porch was a bit muddy which made me believe it's been wet this year. Loved the key pad entry, didn't have to worry about carrying another item with you. It is nicely located on the second level and really like the proximity to town. The pool has been re-done and the additions are wonderful. Love having a washer/dryer, kitchen and living space. It was really comfortable for the two of us. We love the Diria Condos-highly recommend!

This was a great condo!

We had a very nice stay at this condo. The pool is amazing and when we were there it was never crowded. There is also a terrific outdoor patio that feels very private. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family of 4. The owners have beach chairs and a cooler for you to borrow too which is very convenient.

Luxury in Paradise!

We arrived at the condo courtesy of the wonderful transportation organised through Blue Water Properties. The Condo was very beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It is very spacious and has a feeling of luxury. The rooms are large and the furnishings are high quality. The photos are lovely but the property is better in person! The condo was extremely clean and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and very professional. The resort is quite lovely with tropical gardens surrounding the expansive family pool area. There is a fantastic swim up bar under a huge thatch roof with friendly and attentive staff. The pool is breathtaking and far exceeds the other pools on the property which were off limits to condo guests. The location of the Matapalo building is excellent with easy access to the Hotel and Beach from the front of the property. The rear access leads to a narrow road which has access to one of the two main roads in Tamarindo. There is a small grocery store within 5 minutes for the essentials. A larger store is about 10 minutes walk away (Vindis). Tamarindo is a bustling town with incredibly friendly people and this condo puts you square in the middle of it. We had only excellent experiences at the local restaurants; Green Papaya, NOI Bistro, Barefoot (next door to Matapalo) We absolutely adored the condo, condo complex, beach and town. Blue Water Properties are outstanding - very professional yet super friendly - can't wait to work with them again! This condo is superb and we have no hesitation in recommending it and Blue Water Properties.
