Located in Catskill, come and enjoy all that this newly renovated, spacious 3-bedroom country house/chateau has to offer. Our house comfortably sleeps eight adults. With a charming interior featuring two living spaces with a large screen tv, a gas fireplace, bluetooth stereo system, guests will feel right at home instantly. The circular flow of the house with windows surrounding each room, giving you views to the whole property, makes this house perfect for taking in nature, relaxing and entertaining. The large eat-in kitchen has everything you need to cook up a big dinner for your next family gathering. Two bedrooms upstairs include the 1 king bed with en suite bathroom and 2 twin over double sized bunk beds. The bedroom downstairs has a queen sized bed and a quiet view to the front of the house and front yard hammock. An extra set of linens is provided for each bed and plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash. A washer and dryer in the upstairs closet makes it easy for you to do your laundry. The house has two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. Both have a shower while the bathroom downstairs also has a tub. The dining room comfortably seats ten people. Whether you're relaxing in the cozy living space and taking in garden views, lounging and dining on the deck with a BBQ, stargazing and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, or exploring the beautiful property surroundings, this excellent property is the perfect retreat. The grounds offer a large grassy area for playing badminton, darts, horseshoes or even soccer! A short walk on a woodland path across the street sets you on a beautiful little rocky beach where you can enjoy the calm of the Catskill Creek. You may even see a kayak or fishing boat float by. The house is welcome to dogs and cats with a fee. Bicycles are available for you in the barn to be used at your own risk and responsibility. The house is attached to a small rental apartment unit which operates separately as a long-term rental and has its own, separate entrance. You may or may not see a tenant coming and going from that unit, but they do not share the deck or any of the grounds with you. Those areas are exclusive to the main chateau space. Because all of our safety matters, this property features an exterior, outward facing security camera, located on the barn, front facing the driveway. We have taken great care to make sure you feel safe and that you are also able to enjoy the solitude of our country home near the village. We look forward to hosting you at our place!
