Charming little place!

This place was exactly as advertised and the pictures don’t do it justice—it is so lovely and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Perfect central location and helpful details for parking were much appreciated. The history of the home and the graciousness of the hostess were bonuses.

Perfect in town location

This property is lovely and right Downtown. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, winery and gelato. The staff is extremely helpful and even made dinner reservations for us.

Our room was just wonderful. Very nicely situated within a courtyard, a quiet respite from the hordes of shoppers outside. The bathroom was a bit dangerous. For one the door is very short and the shower is not safe nor practical. The concierge and staff are exceptional and the breakfast was great. Parking was a challenge as we explore a lot and come back to find it difficult to find a space. The restaurants are wonderful and exploring outside of the shopping area is very nice. We loved going up to the top of the tower to see the view.

We inform the readers that we have one living room just for the buffet breakfast international, with eggs, mixed cold cuts, brushette, Fresh fruit salad and much more, this is on request extra service. Regarding the bathroom, we are sorry maybe we not give you all informations, the shower is in the floor, but is big and safe. Daily cleaning service is included, much appreciated by our guests who, when they return from tours, find the apartment tidied and clean. We understand that parking in San Gimignano can sometimes be challenging, especially after a full day of exploring, when you come back tired. Our team is always happy to provide guidance on the closest available options, they are a lot of free area parking near 5/10 minuts. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed the excellent restaurants nearby and the pleasure of visiting the surrounding shopping area. San Gimignano is really famous also for the beautiful shops, and for the artisan shop, all is very close our Historical Palace. Thank you again for choosing us. San Gimignano Stay

Great location and friendly staff. Staff was able to help us find some local dining and wine tours. Wifi is minimal with the stone/brick walls. Room was very clean and well equipped, beautiful palace with lots of history.

Wonderful Stay !

What an amazing place to stay. The host Marzia and her helper Bianco are wonderful! So helpful and had great recommendations where to visit, dine and park. Our room was spectacular with kitchen and door to the amazing courtyard . So beautiful to sit in a courtyard from the 11 th century. Incredible stay! Book early this is a true find! Thank you Marzia!

A Gem inside San Gimignano

This is a beautiful property with a lovely apartment that had a lovely quiet courtyard with plants and antiqque decor to enjoy. Property owner and staff were so nice and kind. It made our stay all the better! They included info about local sights and recommendations for restaurants around.and we even received a discount at some locations just for staying here! It's a beautiful place in an old medieval town. Close to shopping sights and dining! Loved our stay!

Good for what we needed

We stayed just one night. Our host was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage early while our room was bing prepared, which allowed us some extra time to explore. The room is very quiet, and dark, so good for sleeping.

Dear Noelle, thank you for choising this Historical Palace and for your review. the storage luggages is very helpfull for early check in and for later check out, our guests can to enjoy extra time in holiday without stress of luggages. Check in start at 15.00, the accomodation not is ready before 15,00, but our reception can to give you immediatly any info for explore the town. The apartment not is dark, has many 5 different light points. the largest can be more or less strong, for every need, and usually guests turn it off to have a more dim light. Perhaps you have not found the right ignitions, and we are sorry you could ask us. all the best, marzia and the staff

Unique accommodations with great hosts.

Charming apartment in a walled fortress city. After a bit of searching for parking we really enjoyed our stay. Luigi and Marzia are great hosts. The property has been in the family for generations. It was nice to hear the history of the estate and explore this charming city. Clean well kept with free wifi. So many good restaurants within a short walk and a bakery nearby. Wish we had more time to spend there.

Fantastic place and fantastic host

I didn’t expect to be needy, but I got rather sick while I was there. As I was traveling solo, so it was comforting to know I was cared for. Marzia, her husband, Bianca, and their sweet maid really did watch out for me. Thank you so much!!The accommodation was exactly as they listed it and I adore staying at historical properties like this one. And…it’s in the historic ZTL zone. So the parking was about 5-10 minutes away but dropping off/picking up your luggage is only a 2-minute walk (you get 15 minutes, then have to move your car)). I highly recommend this place. They are marvelous people!

Great location

The room was in a great location right by one of the gates to the city. It was a beautiful old building with a great private courtyard. The room was clean and everything worked inside. Warning: there is no AC, but we went in September and kept the window open at night. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding areas. She gave us great recommendations. Free parking only a 10-12 minute walk from room.

The Palace

This property was everything we were looking for and more! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Marisa and Bianca were more than helpful and never made us feel like we were a bother and believe me we had many questions. They went out of there way to help us and arranged transportation for us and also to a wine tasting. They even offered to make dinner reservations for us. They are truly the best! We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing, one of a kind experience.

Wow! To stay in a 13th century castle in the heart of medevil San Gimingano! Such a unique and surreal experience. Was perfect for our family of 4. Marzia was so helpful in guiding us/providing recommendations for everything from bike tours to a cooking class and wine tasting. She even facilitated laundry service for us, as we were on an extended holiday. Would stay again in a minute. Thank you Marzia, for an unforgettable experience.

Perfect location

The apartment was cosy and comfortable and ideally situated in San Gimignano. The apartment was surprisingly quite considering how far from the main street the place is. The courtyard is beautiful and an ideal spot to relax away from it all. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and they are all a short walk away. The only criticism is about unloading and finding the place. Directions are provided and the host is responsive and helpful but we had to call in the end. There are a couple of parking bays just outside the town walls that have a max 15min waiting but there were never available so had to park in one of the many paid car parks which wasn’t a problem but aren’t that close when you are carrying your luggage. Once we had settled in we tracked down the free parking. Don’t let this put you off as the apartment is great and ideal for exploring the town.
