Loved our time here. The sun room was our favorite place to hang out. Extremely peaceful location, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. Very clean on arrival. Would definitely stay her again. Good communication with the rental agent too!

This property is beautiful and wonderfully appointed. You can see the care and love the owners put into their home away from home. It was a perfect place to stay for our vacation and we hope to return!

Summer break

We had a fabulous time here. Cottage was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and was just a nice place to relax after long days at the beach. Also had the pleasure of meeting some of the owner-neighbors and they were all so nice! Will absolutely return!

Cozy Cottage

Beautifully decorated and cozy cottage! Property manager was very easy to communicate with and handled a maintenance issue promptly. Kids loved the playground and pool.

Fantastic Weekend at Summer Village

Spent our Memorial Day weekend at the cottage and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Property was clean and well equipped. We’ve stayed at Summer Village many times and this cottage is easily one of our favorites. We’ll be back!

The cottage was just as the picture showed. It was clean, nice furniture and the beds were comfortable. The complex was very nice and big. I enjoyed riding my bike around the area and the swimming pools were nice. Had good conversations with visitors and owners. Great restaurants in the area. Try Fisherman's Catch. That was my favorite. I would stay there again

A perfect family vacation!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property in Summer Village. The home was just perfect for our family of 4 - it was very clean, organized and beautifully decorated. The trolley made it easy to access the pools however Pavilion pool was an easy walk even for our 5yo. The property is a convenient short drive to beaches, harbors and nearby towns of York, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We would absolutely consider another stay but for 2 weeks next time as it was hard to leave!

Amazing Stay

My family and I comes to Wells every year for our vacation. This is our first time staying in Summer Village and we are so happy we switched here! This property is spacious enough for a family of 4 with two young kids like us and we had my Mother in Law and it was still enough space. This feels like a “home” and not like a cottage. Exceptionally clean. We loved the trolley rides too! We will be back-Kathleen was FANTASTIC to work with!

Friends shopping trip

The cottage was quiet and very clean. It was beautifully decorated. It was stocked with all the neccesities. It is located close to everything but feels like being in the country. The best restaurants and shopping are all within a 5 to 20 minute drive. The local movie theater is a 5 minute drive which was great since it was rainy a few days of our vacation. Wells beach is also a five minute drive. It was a delightful vacation and we would definitely stay again.

Great Location and Amenities!

This property was a great stay! Close to downtown, very clean and organized and the check in process was easy. We stayed with our 4 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old. They are into EVERYTHING. The decor here was beautiful but if you have small ones who are little investigators you may need to move a lot of the decor up to higher places! There is a playground on site with a family/kids pool and plenty of covered picnic tables. The trolley that takes you around the conplex was convenient and a fun activity for the kids.

Great Maine getaway!

Traveling with small children we are all about the convenience - and the cottage was a perfect stay for that. Location is great, so many restaurants, grocery stores, shops within a 20 minute radius. Complex is perfect for families with several pools, a playground, quiet roads so we didn’t have to worry about traffic. It is very buggy though- unfortunately we couldn’t spend much time in the yard bc we were getting eaten alive. The house itself was plenty big for the 4 of us - great kitchen with plenty of supplies. Very well decorated and comfortable bedrooms. Love having laundry available. I will note that the listing says Apple TV and there isn’t one available - we like to log into our streaming apps for the kids so we would have brought ours had we known but we made due with their iPad. Overall a great vacation to end summer!

Wells Maine summer villages

The summer villages in Wells Maine was just as it was described on the VRBO site. Property was very clean and well-maintained. I liked how it was gated so we felt pretty secure. Great having different pools and activities for the kids to do when we were not at the beach. I only wish that there was a picnic table outside of our cottage instead of having to walk down to the pavilion. I also wish that you could get into the cottage earlier than 4 PM. The traffic was extremely busy and we were limited as to what we could do during that day. Otherwise no complaints and would highly recommend!

First trip to Maine

This was our first visit to Maine and we randomly found this place on vrbo. It couldn't have turned out better. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and didn't feel too crowded when another family of 4 stopped by for a beach day. We enjoyed the property and area so much that we are considering buying a rental property here.
