Der Heuboden ist ein gemütliches und romantisches Refugium nur zwei Meilen vom Zentrum von Mendocino. Warm und einladend, und mit Stil und Komfort eingerichtet. Die Hayloft Suite befindet sich im reizvollen und geheimnisvollen Pygmy-Wald. Sie ist ein Gästehaus für ein Haupthaus, aber dennoch privat, ruhig und friedlich.

Das Wohnzimmer ist mit einem Ledersofa, einem Liegestuhl, einem Kamin und einem Entertainment-Center ausgestattet. Es gibt einen Essbereich, eine Küche und im Open-Space-Stil, das Schlafzimmer ist "halb zugemauert" Blick auf den Kamin und Fernseher zu ermöglichen. Mehrere Oberlichter bringen in der Sonne und einer von ihnen direkt über dem Bett ein Nacht Blick auf die Sterne und Mond. Haben wir etwas dagegen als romantische sagen?

Cozy hideaway

My wife and I enjoyed our week at the Hayloft. It is located a short drive from Mendocino, but back in the woods--very private and quiet. The place is very clean and well-appointed. Check-in and check-out was super easy. And we loved the outdoor hot tub! That said, the bathroom is small--not much counter space to put things on. More significantly, the unit could use another couple of lamps in the sitting area for reading. Also, the outdoor stairs leading to the front door should be better lit. If there's a motion sensor on that light, it isn't working. Still, a lovely place to stay overall.

Welcomed to fresh flowers, really nicely folded (like origami) towels and toilet paper, some complimentary whiskey in a glass bottle. Place was clean and comfortable - nice bedding and comfy bed. The kitchen items are minimal but we didn’t cook there so not an issue. Hot tub was perfect size for two. They did stress not changing the temp the tub is set to but it was set to 97 when we got there so we turned it up. They also stressed to put straps on after each use but straps were broken. Light for hot tub was also not working but not needed. The moon was bright. Shower is small but does the job. All in all, we enjoyed the stay!

Great retreat!

Perfect location, close to Mendocino, beaches and trails. Lovely, secluded spot that’s perfect for a get-away weekend. Hot tub was great for soaks at night, although it wasn’t heated yet on the first night and the chlorine balance was off and it ended up dying my swimsuit :( Other than that, would highly recommend.

Lovely relaxing stay in the forest

We had a great stay at the Hayloft. Communication and check-in were smooth and easy, and the living and sleeping spaces were cozy and comfy. We were close to Mendocino and Fort Bragg, yet far enough away to have quiet and privacy. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, too!

Reviewer Comments: We loved everything abut our time at the hayloft. it was near enough to everything we wanted to see and do and far enough away to feel like we were really "away from it all." The place was ideal - clean and comfortable. We didn't have any issues with the mattress like previous visitors mentioned so maybe they replaced it. The shower was small but by non means inconveniently so. The WIFI worked well as did the TV and DVD player once we figured out the instructions were for different brands than the one s there, but that wasn't something we either needed or used more than once. The hot tub was everything we expected. We will definitely be back.

Amazing!

The house was so adorable, clean, safe. The hot tub worked perfectly and was such a fun time! Location is amazing too, only 20ish minutes away from anything you want to do in the area! I will definitely be returning to the Hayloft!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was very easy. The bourbon was a nice touch for us weary travelers after an 8 hour drive. The location is wonderful, the loft is cozy, and the kitchen is fully functional. Hot tub of course was great; I will say it is highly chlorinated and may have ruined some jewelry (need to see it if will clean up), but I recommend guests remove jewelry before getting into the hot tub. The vacation property managers are wonderful and really worked with us on a reschedule following a tragic loss in my family. I really appreciated working with them and they made the process easy for us during a very hard time. One thing I really loved about the property is how safe it felt, it is very “tucked in”, and Warner Lane makes for a great morning walk without too many faces or cars to pass you by.Some constructive criticisms: the nails on the deck are uplifting from the wood and could definitely hurt a bare foot! The mattress is subpar, a bit saggy. Furniture and decor are a bit outdated, and the windows look like they need fixing/replaced - the double pane sky lights were constantly fogged up so we couldn’t enjoy the night sky in bed. The hand cranked windows didn’t always crank and some knobs weren’t very secure. Above all, it was a lovely stay and we had a hard time leaving beautiful Mendocino.

1st Wedding Anniversary Weekend Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The place and the personal touches welcoming us for our Anniversary were much appreciated. The apartment is cute and just as described. Cozy. The hot tub was a perfect temperature. Our only criticism is the bed and the couch. Most especially that mattress should have been retired years ago as it was so saggy. The couch was also uncomfortable as the back of it pushed our heads forward. This place is a hands down winner, especially if the bed and couch situation is fixed.

Nice and quiet

Very nice stay. Out in the woods where it's nice and quiet. Got to see the meteor shower while in the hot tube. Plenty of privacy. Would love to come back again!
