Enjoy the nature and light surrounding this historic building turned modern comfortable space for guests. Placer Counties’ fruit growing industry can be traced back to the early 1800’s, and this particular fruit shed has been in existence since at least the late 1800’s from what I found in the archives.

The space
This home was once a Fruit Shed. The outside looks as though it is still original and much like barn wood. Inside, you enter into a large open space living room/ kichen/ dining table with high vaulted ceilings and high cathedral windows that cannot be covered.
Bedroom has a King bed, a desk, and a small place to hang some clothes. There is an additional exit door in the bedroom which goes out onto the patio where you will find an outdoor dining table and a hammock.
The bathroom has a double vanity and a walk in shower.
The yard is fenced with a 4 ft high picket fence.
The Leafy Lodge sits on over an acre of property which is home to another VRBO. The homes are far enough apart to provide privacy to both occupants but are connected by a meandering path if you choose to book alongside friends. I mention the road noise in all the info areas of this listing because I don’t want anyone to be surprised and bothered by the constant traffic noise from I80 which runs the length of the property just 200 ft from the Leafy Lodge.
