We love staying at Gold Camp Units because we catch the bus to Peak 8. This unit was great, clean and the kitchen had all of the things we needed. We liked the easy parking. The Beds were great. We would stay again.

Great place to stay with easy access to mountain and town

Location on the gold bus route was great. We were two bus stops away from the Gondola and two bus stops away from main st. The condo was perfect for our group and we loved the hot tubs and sauna!

Loved Gold Camp II

First time skiing and the unit was just mins from the slopes. Spacious living room and close access to the hot tub was a plus (after plenty of falling down at Breck). Kitchen supplies were well-stocked. Would definitely recommend.

Early 2022 stay

Great place with a great price for being on the mountain in Breck. Really close to peak 8. Felt like the Breck Free Ride was under staffed and only half the buses were running. So close to peak 8, that we ended up running up the mountain in the Jeep to drop off. One of us would repark at GoldCamp II, and walk up. One day we skied home on the side walk. Great times. Thought that may be helpful to know. Thanks for the fun!

The condo was a 2 minute walk to the free shuttles to either up to the slopes or down into the quaint town; slopes/gondola only 1 stop away on shuttle. Check in/out was easy. My only suggestion would be to get new mattresses, please. All three beds are in bad need of updated mattresses and that’s really important due to our bodies needing that recovery time after skiing. We would absolute return and we thoroughly enjoyed Breckenridge!! Thank you!!

Good location and cozy

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Some bonus’s were the location, proximity to hot tub, being on the first floor , close to the shuttle pickup/ drop off and the fact that u can actually just walk to peak 8 if u don’t want to wait for the shuttle. Place was nice inside and had a great counter and kitchen for hanging out and eating . Could use a little upgrading on the decor but whatever, not a deal breaker. Gas fireplace is clutch for drying out your gear after a long day on the slopes. WiFi never worked. Probably always has issues due to the fact that they give you trouble shooting instructions printed out with the paperwork. Maybe something they could address for the future. Other than that we had a fantastic stay. Thank you.

Great location but left lots to be desired

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at a different Gold Camp unit (also a 2BR) before and was very happy. Unfortunately that wasn't the case this time, even though we are not very picky in general about accommodations. In terms of positives, it's a great location, the kitchen is fairly stocked with anything you'd need, it has a long wall rack to store all of your skiing apparel, and it was clean for the most part. On the negative side, the unit is much smaller than the previous unit we rented (it looks like this may be the case between upper floor units and other units), with low ceilings, tiny bathrooms and low lighting. We were lucky in that the unit above us was empty for most of our trip but once someone did show up the last few days, you could hear every foot step, every door shutting, etc. Much of what's in the place is old and needs to be updated. The worst part is the beds. The frames in the 2nd bedroom are extremely squeaky, the sheets/pillows/duvets are bargain bin. And the mattresses...wow. The listing says that they've been replaced recently. If that's the case, they were replaced by something that a nearby motel was throwing away.

A convenient place to stay

Inside is clean and overall well maintained, except the lid of the coffee pot is a bit burned.Rental management office is very responsive. They also have people answering phone calls in after hours and weekends/holidays. The key and lock to the entrance door are old and require some small trick to work together. I was not able to open the door at first, and they sent someone close by (maybe in the management office of the property) in a few minutes to help. Very reliable!

The heating in the unit is extremely uneven. One bedroom is cold and the other extremely hot. There is no humidifier to put moisture in the air so boiling water is imperative unless you don’t mind dry skin and bloody noses. The unit also had long dark hairs throughout. Ugh

It doesn’t take a lot of please us as we are all very easy going and young. The house was a great location we were very happy and super easy to get to bus stop..we loved the fireplace as it really heats the whole place. We did have to open windows every night as It got to hot in the house ( fireplace off ) and It was just hard to keep a happy medium but overall comfortable And made It work. The kitchen had what we needed and water for showers and sink never went cold with 4 of us and one shower so that was nice Biggest down fall was the master bed our friends complained It was super hard and just felt like a 200.00 mattress - we took the twins and I’ve never been so uncomfortable. My bed frame is being held up with duck tape and my husband had to fix It twice as It would come apart and would almost collapse. Every time I turned in bed I was scared It would fall apart so it was super disappointing ( bed close to door ) husband bed wasn’t as bad but he wasn’t to comfortable either he slept on the couch a couple of the nights. Living room is great but old seating but pretty comfortable. Over all we had a great time and amazing trip and made it all work in I’m just super disappointed in the money we spent for the bedding we got. I always look forward to vacations as you normally get great beds and sleep and these were just the cheapest of cheap! I do hope they upgrade the beds and i’d for sure come back.

Absolutely PERFECT!

The town is stunning! The location of this condo is absolutely perfect. Anything from the local grocery store, skiing, sledding hill and town is just minutes away. Yes the condo is outdated BUT, who cares! The kids thought they were at grandma’s house so they loved it. The beds are rough for sure. The twin beds made a horrible noise every movement the kids made- they ended up on the couch. But they didn’t mind! The main room does NOT have a tv which is pictured, we just didn’t realize it till we got there. The hallway has all these hooks that we used 24/7- so perfect. The fire place was so amazing and so useful. The condo neighbors were so nice and very helpful. The kids played right outside the house and had a blast! Lots of parking options so we loaded and unloaded easy. You won’t regret it!

A convenient place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is very close to the free bus station taking you to the base of peak 8. Inside is clean and overall well maintained, except the lid of the coffee pot is a bit burned. Rental management office is very responsive. They also have people answering phone calls in after hours and weekends/holidays. The key and lock to the entrance door are old and require some small trick to work together. I was not able to open the door at first, and they sent someone close by (maybe in the management office of the property) in a few minutes to help. Very reliable!

Great place

Nice place to stay for sure. Everything was great except the deck was completely snowed in and non-maintained and you could not use the grill. The hot tub set up was less than ideal and the water was lukewarm. The actual condoWas great.

We appreciate your feedback! We will discuss the deck shoveling and hot tub maintenance with the on site manager, who is in charge of those items. We will also check on the grill.

Excellent place to stay. Very comfortable and clean.

We stayed a week and primarily just had breakfast there and made our lunches. We ate out most dinners in the fun town. We took the bus which worked pretty well except when it was -4 with wind. :-)
