Nichole, We would like to thank you for the wonderful positive feedback and glad you enjoyed the amenities, gift shop/food and our location. We will certainly check into the musty smell you mentioned and are very sorry that the next door neighbors were inconsiderate with their habit while on balcony. Unfortunately, during peak season and high demand times of the day elevators can become very busy with people coming and going back and forth to the beach. The Dunes of Panama did respond to this guest during her stay. The Dunes of Panama did send housekeeping to the unit to review and take care of missed cleaning areas that were mentioned by guest to our front desk after being checked-in for almost 24 hours. When housekeeping went to unit their services were refused. Correspondence was made and guest was issued a full nights rent plus some. We received correspondence from guest after her departure informing us that she had submitted her review on VRBO, also mentioning she wanted more money returned. In that correspondence was the first mention of roaches. A review of unit by management was made to see first hand. The units carpet (light beige) did have a few spill/stains by the sofa/love/coffee table but nothing horrible. The rest of the units carpet had no noticeable spots/stains. The furniture and carpet had both been cleaned before the February winter tenant. The units furniture sofa/love had no noticeable signs of soiled areas or odor. The occasional chair with matching ottoman is a very light beige color and did have some minor spots. The units decorating choices may not be the choice for everyone (blues and beiges with a busy fabric pattern on the sofa and a leather love seat) but the photos online reflect exactly what is in the unit as well as the owners decorating choices. The small 1x1 piece of sheet rock that was missing in the living room by the bottom section of the sliding glass door was a result of mitigation that our insurance company required for all units after Hurricane Michael. We were aware of this and it was on their schedule for completion. All of our units are sprayed by a professional pest control company every month. On the first mention of an issue by the guest in her email after her departure the pest control company was contacted. So far we have not found any evidence of active bugs. Our goal is to satisfy all of our customers but it is unfortunate in this case we were unable to satisfy her. Dunes of Panama Management
