Dieses wunderschön fertiggestellte und dekorierte Haus mit vier Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern verfügt über die klassische Architektur von Key West und befindet sich in einer bezaubernden, von Bäumen gesäumten Straße im Truman Annex. Das individuell gestaltete zweistöckige Haus verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss auf der Hauptebene mit separaten Wohn- und Essbereichen. Plus ein Vollbad und Gästezimmer.
Die riesige Veranda, die sich perfekt zur Unterhaltung eignet, überblickt den großen Hinterhof mit Pool und ist vom Wohnbereich durch zwei französische Türen zugänglich. Im Obergeschoss öffnet sich die geräumige Master-Suite zu einer privaten Veranda und die beiden Gästezimmer teilen sich ein Bad und eine Veranda.

Queen Emma is wonderful!

We truly enjoyed this house. The backyard is private and the pool is the perfect size for a small group. The patio is set with a beautiful table and chairs for outdoor dining. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and has ample refrigeration and freezer space.

Family Vacation

We had a great time on our family vacation!! We were a group of 6. The location was perfect for our 20 something kids to walk to bars and restaurants. Something to do for everyone. The bike rental at We Cycle is super close to the house so it was really easy to rent bikes. Ft Zachary Taylor beach was lovely and also really close to the house. Everyone in our group said the house and location was perfect and we would definitely rent this house again!!

A Gem in Key West's Truman Annex

We were celebrating the 20th anniversary of my husband's 40th birthday -- which we'd spent in Key West (the theme then was A Pirate Looks at 40; original, I know). In any event, this was truly one of the nicest properties I've rented through VRBO. The house was lovely, fitting in the neo-traditional neighborhood that is Truman Annex. Well-equipped and comfortable; we had every thing we needed. Lush landscaping and gorgeous outdoor space. The pool could use an update, but it didn't hinder our enjoyment of it. And, most importantly, the location was awesome. We could get anywhere we wanted either on foot or via the bikes we'd rented. Beach, bar and restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

Key west alternate property

Property originally booked not available due to renovations… switched to different property. Great location, but had trouble with the auto thermostat and AC first day. Pool was dirty. Pool guy showed up mid week with no notification and let himself in with no notice. They need to ring the doorbell when there are renters.

Very nice condo. Very poor job by management company

This condo is a very nice. But none of our group (four 65+ couples) wants to come back because of the frustration over the management company's lack of preparation before our arrival and the inconvenience of having to deal with and wait for plumbers, cleaning people, carpenters and a propane replacement after we arrived. Our unit was empty for two weeks prior to our arrival but still had a disgustingly dirty blanket, broken faucet, broken cabinet door, freezer not turned on in time to make ice and empty propane tank on the gas grill. All were noticeable and could easily have been fixed before we got there. It was only the second trip for the plumber to fix a leak that might not have been seen beforehand. The manager (Compasss Realty) did respond when we called but this is an expensive rental and should have been in good condition when we arrived. Compass Realty did not do the owners any favors in the way they handled our stay.

Reviewer Comments: Good Afternoon all - please note the following:The pool was dirty and unusable the entire time we were there - never once was it cleaned, understanding the wind etc. The exterior car port lights do not work, which is a frustrating at night. A few of the ceiling lights did not work at all, in the kitchen. There was water dripping out of the A/C duct in the kitchen - towels and a bucket were left there. My wife reported this on the Sunday, and did not hear back from anyone that the repair was rectified. The shower head in the master bathroom, needs replacing - the center of the head does nothing. Whilst I am saying I would recommend the property to others below, the fact is that improvements to 514 Emma, should be actioned. We plan to be in Key West next year for the races, as we have been for the past 3 years. We pay a premium for these residences, and unfortunately feel the house did not meet our expectations. Happy to discuss further, if need be, anytime - my number is. Thanks, and have a great evening!

Everything inside the house, furniture, rugs, bedding, etc. was well-maintained, and everything was in working, order . We had no problems. My bed and the bed of my friends were all super comfortable. The outside was lush and private, and very beautiful. The house looks exactly the way it does online. We loved it so much that we’re planning to book it again for next year.

Spring Break in Key West

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and location were suburb. We had several maintenance issues while there, but most were addressed promptly. Grill was usable but the grate needs to be replaced, TV did not work properly, locks were either stuck or difficult to secure. Two kitchen cupboards were off their hinges. The grout on all three of the showers' tile floor was blackened with mold which was extremely unsightly. Dishwasher functioned but racks were missing wheels so difficult to maneuver. Fundamental maintenance has been overlooked. While basic supplies (TP, paper towels dish soap), were barely furnished, there was no dishwasher soap. While that is a small item, I truly believe for the cost of the weekly rental all of those items should have been generously available. Stair carpet and outside white chair cushions were very soiled and and somewhat moldy. I know these descriptions make the house seem less than ideal, but as I said it is a beautiful house in a great location that just needs some more care.

DeCosta's Get away!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great experience and have rented the same house for November 2023. Smoke detector sounded in the lower bedroom and had to be disconnected. There are others which were already disconnected in other rooms, upon our arrival - they should all be checked, cleaned and re-installed. Pool was somewhat dirty and the interior of the washing machine needed cleaning. Otherwise, loved the house and was happy with how clean everything was upon arrival. Regarding the parking bay, opposite the car port - we were told that it belonged to 514 Emma street , by two of the neighbors, however the office confirmed it did not - still unclear on this

Loved the location--easy access to all KW has to offer. House had everything we needed.
