No snow...just sugar white sand.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location, beach & staff were very good. The unit was comfortable but could use some updating. We did not use the large pool because it was unheated and FREEZING. We found lots to things to do in the area but also liked to sit and relax on the beach, swing or balcony.

Nice unit; could not get Primary Bedroom ceiling fan to work. Box fan was provided though. Best time to go to beach. Nice temps low crowds.

Beautifully decorated condo, great amenities at the plantation

We had a wonderful time last week, perfect weather and beautiful condo. We loved being so close to the pool and beach. We would have enjoyed the stay more if there had been a washer/dryer set in the unit instead of just the washer. It made it a task to have to take clothing down the hall to dry and wait for it to finish. Other than that, it was a perfect vacation!

Wonderful beach

Wonderful not too crowded beach but it’s a long walk to the beach and the appliances in the room did not work. We tried multiple times to use the dishwasher but it would not turn on. We attempted to use the stove but it would not get hot. It was a LONG drive to town!

Not my best beach visit

The condo itself was very nice. I was 100% pleased with it. The per night cost was exceptional and worth the money. The fees were a little steep, but that is understandable. The person working the check-in stand was very rude, and the condo was difficult to find because there are no numbers on the outside and no instructions for how to find our room. In addition, there was construction going on directly outside our back window. The noise started early and ended late and made staying in the condo miserable. Overall, it was an average experience, but I don't know that I will be back.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall, but are upset to hear that not everything went the way you expected. I would first like to address the person at the check in stand; we sincerely believe that you must be referring to the staff at Gulf Shores Plantation when you were checking in there to get your parking pass, because that type of greeting is not acceptable here at Poole & Associates. We are also sorry to hear you had trouble finding the building, it is a big complex and the guard at the shack should have been able to give you better directions to the unit than you obviously received.We also apologize about the construction, until you reported it to us we were unaware it was even going on. We hope to see you again for another great vacation, and we hope you let us show you a better experience next time.

Anniversary getaway

We have stayed at Gulf Shores Plantation many times over the years and love it there! The condo itself is cute and was the perfect size for me and my husband. I have never in my life had to leave a negative review but the FILTH was too much!! As soon as we entered the supposedly cleaned room, sand was all over the floor. Which, I understand at the beach there will be sand but this was from the condo not being properly cleaned! Next, we noticed coffee was still in the coffee pot. While that wasn’t that big of a deal what truly got us was the beds!! The Master bed had long hair all over the fitted sheets so immediately we decided to check the other bed. Dear Lord it was WORSE!!! Fitted sheet had hole in it, quilted comforter had fresh food spots and very questionable blood spots on the large throw pillows that mind you are thrown on top of the pillows you place your head on! Disgusting!!! And lastly, Poole properties states they make sure to give you (now let me be exact from the email they sent me — Please note that we provide at least 2 bath towels and 2 washcloths for each guest the unit can sleep, per bathroom). We were given 3 towels and 3 wash rags for a condo that sleeps 6 and should have stocked 12 towels and 12 wash rags! Yes we could have used coin laundry but that’s not the point! Service is the POINT! Poole Property you definitely need to get a knew cleaning service and act on complaints immediately when informed like you were from us! Very disappointed!

Our experience at this location was a good one. We enjoyed the beach and the easy access to the ocean. We saw lots of marine life. Our accommodations were just fine for 5 people.

Great Stay!

The condo was clean and perfect for two people, but could fit more! The main areas including the kitchen, living, and baths looked recently updated, but the bedrooms were a little outdated. My only complaint is that the building itself is old and needs updating. Looked like they were working on renovations though! All in all I would stay again.

Very nice place for the price

This place was very nice and fairly cheap compared to other places we’ve looked at. Loved the private beach the most of it all sat all day and it never got too crowded. That 15 minute drive down ft Morgan road is definitely worth it. Check in and out was super easy. Drill definitely stay again.

Loved the decor

Had a great time in fort Morgan took the ferry over to Dauphin island! Went down to orange beach and traveled to the Florida state line! Lots of great restaurants along the way!

Step from the Beach

The location of this condo is perfect! You’re not in the middle of all the tourist attractions but only a short 20 mins from Gulf Shores activities and restaurants. You have access to many pools and are steps from the beach! Floors were still sandy upon our arrival and one dining chair was broken, but no other complaints. We would most definitely stay again!

Good location, decorated nicely, needs some updating, and a good cleaning.

Great proximity to beach. Probably can’t find anything closer to the beach in this area. For price, super super close. Just steps from beach. Love Fort Morgan area. Minutes from town. However, no space for clothes at all. Having no dryer and using ones down laundry area at 10 dollars a pop was frustrating, room had sand in beds when we arrived, blankets were not clean and a dirty washcloth was left in shower. Balcony was moldy and just dirty. Kitchen was super nice. Updated well. Loving space was nice and updated. Bathrooms and bedrooms need some updating. Check in and out was a breeze. Poole and associates were super nice and easy to work with. For money, not a bad stay. Neighbors were sometimes very loud and partied quite a bit over the 4th, but calmed down once it got late. Prob to be expected on holiday. Nice large warm pool, but furniture was old and not too clean. Can’t beat the beach here. Not too crowded. Good beach service. Right at places to rent activities and restaurants right on beach. Location, can’t beat.

Pictures of condo are accurate but it seemed smaller to me than pictured. Very nice... there were a few things that would be nice to put in the room; a dust pan, ceiling fan in bedroom, a place in the closet to put clothes, hangers, a kitchen sink stopper, baking sheet, pizza cutter. Loved the decor and the hanging towel rack on the balcony.

Paradise Found!

We absolutely loved this condo! Everything we needed was provided. The beach was steps away and so were the pools! Our family had the best time! If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores this is the best place! Just a few minutes drive into the center of Gulf Shores.

Fun away from the crowd

We had a great time at Gulf Shores Plantation. The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were lots of things to keep us entertained on the premises. You could never leave the resort and still have a wonderful time. The beaches were not nearly as crowded as Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. That being said, there are not a whole lot of dining options in Fort Morgan and it's about a 15-20 minute drive back to Gulf Shores and restaurant opportunities. Overall a great time.

Fantastic Home Away From Home

Walked in to very clean and well kept place. The decor was beautiful and made it feel very at home. It was nice to sit on the balcony and hear the waves. During the day you can see the ocean on an angle view. Highly recommend this place!

Clean and beautifully decorated!

Clean, beautifully decorated, well-stocked condo. My family of five had plenty of room in this 2 bedroom condo, yet it was still cozy. The only complaint was the mattress in the guest room. I think it needs to be replaced. Other than that, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay there again.
