Simple Serenity Cottage ist ein Cottage mit 3 Schlafzimmern direkt am Meer, das für Ferienvermietungen in den Monaten Frühjahr, Herbst und Monat für Januar, Februar und März zur Verfügung steht.

Simple Serenity ist der perfekte Name für dieses wunderbare Strandhotel. Wenn Sie ankommen, werden Sie sofort die friedlichen, nostalgischen Erinnerungen an einen Strandurlaub in der Kindheit spüren oder vielleicht an eine Szene aus einem "Wohlfühl" -Buch oder -Film erinnern. Es gibt nichts Besonderes an Simple Serenity - es ist nur ein sauberes, gemütliches, modernisiertes Ferienhaus am Meer. Das Haus liegt auf einem Grundstück direkt am Meer, nur 3 Blocks vom Zentrum von Surf City. Diese Lage ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Angelpier, zahlreichen Restaurants und Bars, einem Lebensmittelgeschäft, Fischmarkt, einem Spielplatz, Eisdielen, Cafés, öffentlichen Bootsrampen, Sehenswürdigkeiten und allem, was Sie sonst noch unternehmen möchten, entfernt ein entspannter Strandurlaub.

Es ist ein gemütliches aktualisierten drei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, Ferienhaus mit großem Meervorderdeck. Es gibt einen gemeinsamen Innenhof mit einem Gasgrill, einer Hängematte, einem Picknicktisch und einer Außendusche warm / kalt. Es hat ausreichend Parkplätze für 3 Autos und sogar genug Platz für ein Boot und einen Anhänger.

What an amazing place to stay on the beautiful beaches of Topsail Island!!! The views and beach access was some of the best I’ve experienced. The ocean side porch feels like an extended living room right on the sand! The host was accessible and generous! The house had everything we needed. We will be back!
My pup loved the porch as much as we did!
The sun glistening on the water was so peaceful and amazing to look at!
The sunset was stunning!

Great location, close to Surf City restaurants and shops. Wonderful deck right on beach. Very comfortable living space. Great place to relax and enjoy the Topsail Island experience. Prior to and during our stay Babs was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

So much fun!

It is cute, comfortable, and clean. Has everything you need for a vacation, wonderful oceanfront deck with rocking chairs, beach chairs and boogie boards. The owners are very accommodating and quick to communicate. We are already looking forward to the next time we get to stay at "Simple Serenity.

We came down to visit family that lived local. They are at Camp Lejune so it is a ways away but this location is close to the bridge and within walking distance to many restaurants and the pier. The beach is steps away. It had everything we needed and when I had a question the hostess was quick to answer.

Great house

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this house. We were so close to shopping and local restaurants. And the large ocean front deck was fantastic for our mother to enjoy the beach without having to traverse the sand. Babs was very attentive and kept in touch with us the whole trip, from booking to checkout. And Paige was a doll!! We would love to stay here again!

Great get away

Great little get away house for the week! Had everything needed to make the week easy going and felt like home. Dish washer was broke but was told about it upon arrival. Unfortunately it wasnt able to be fixed and owners were very apologetic about it. Also they were in contact half way through the week just checking in making sure everything was good. Will be staying again no doubt!

That's all I keep saying when my friends ask me how the beach trip went... deeeelightful! This house IS IT. Four steps off of the house length-wide porch off the back is the beach.... you cant get any better than that. Babs is the best (owner) and it was so much fun being able to walk to everything in town. 10 out of 10!!!

Decent place, amazing location

The owner is so accommodating and wonderful! We chose the property for its simplicity and advertised cleanliness. Upon arrival the smell of bleach eluded to its cleanliness but once that smell dissipated there was a stale smell. The master bathroom shower curtain was discolored with mold or mildew; the front bathroom had an unusual smell. There is an obvious roach problem; the owner said it was treated before our arrival but we saw many, dead and alive, the large ones definitely not phased by any pest control, and we even had the misfortune of a very large one coming home with us! The back porch was AMAZING but once the sun set, the roach presence influenced us to retreat inside. The location to the beach is phenomenal! It felt private and we had a blast every second we were on the beach!

I was quite surprised to see Adrienne's review, as while she and her family were visiting our Simple Serenity Cottage, they indicated that everything was fine. Her husband even said, " it is really nicer than they had expected". It was only after they left that she she emailed me about the roaches. And then proceeded to publish the review. The cottage had been sprayed for bugs 2 days before their arrival. Apparently, the treatment brings the bugs out before they actually die. (I didn't know that, I was just trying to be diligent with our pest control). And unfortunately, this is typical for Summer in the South at the beach. It just feels a little unfair to have such a negative review when the guest did not give me an opportunity to address her concerns while they were here. Adrienne was quite concerned about Covid and cleanliness procedures, so I vacated the cottage a day early and had my cleaner send an extra 1/2 hour disinfecting. Perhaps that has something to do with the odor issue. Although that doesn't really matter at this point. I am just sad that this family was so dissatisfied. It is truly (especially in these tense and difficult times) our goal to provide the Simple Serenity that almost all of the guests enjoy when they visit.

Perfect Beach Vacation

We’ve booked many VRBO homes but this was the best experience ever. Easy entry. Great communication with the owner. Words cannot describe the beautiful sunrise over the ocean every morning, viewed from your own private deck. The house is comfortable and convenient walking distance to the Surf City Pier, great eateries (Mac Daddy’s Grille and New York Corner Deli), the local park and pedestrian bridge over the sound, and of coarse literally a handful of steps to gorgeous Surf City Beach where you can watch surfers, parasailing , kite flyers, dolphins, birds or look for smooth rocks and shells. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room couches are comfortable, the TV has plenty of popular channels and streaming service and we got good sleep. Our dog had a ball watching all the beach action from the deck. They have a gate in the laundry closet you can use to limit access to the beach from the deck. They had a full tank of propane ready to go for the grill which was nice since we had to change it out. We were spoiled by Simple Serenity and highly recommend renting. We hope to do so again someday. Thanks Wagners!

This is a well-named cottage. With its oceanfront location and convenience to downtown Surf City, we had a very delightful stay. It is nicely furnished with a very well-equipped kitchen. The host/owner was very easy to work with and did everything she could to make our stay pleasant.

What a joy!

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Just the 2 of us with family that comes for a visit. 2 bedrooms are on the beach side. The in unit washer/dryer are so nice to have. Super large deck with plenty of seating. Everything you need to use in the kitchen is there. So close to town! Walk to restaurants, stores, & coffee shops. The pier is maybe 3 blocks away. The beach is super! So many items provided for the beach. Toys, chairs, boards, etc. Outdoor water to wash off the sand before going inside. We loved it!

A Wonderful Blessing

We loved Simple Serenity! The view, the beach, the location and the peacefulness we felt during our stay are indescribable. We rented Simple Serenity for the month of October in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary.

The location of the cottage was excellent. We could walk to shops, restaurants, coffee houses, & the park . It was very clean, and a big concern was …the bed slept well. It was equipped for every thing we needed to enjoy the inside & outside as well. The extended front deck is so close to the waves, you could sit there & enjoy the whole day. We loved viewing the dolphins in the mornings & afternoon-so glad we took the binoculars . Enjoyed the owner, Babs, stopping in for a visit & making sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend Simple Serenity for a truly relaxing vacation!
