Thank you for your stay and for sharing your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the oceanfront location, the private beach access, and our responsiveness during your visit. I would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our home is a classic Plum Island beach house, and its unique architecture includes open sightlines, many interior windows, and a loft connected by a spiral staircase. These features are accurately shown in the listing photos and described in the layout notes so guests can determine whether the home suits their family’s needs. Regarding temperature concerns, the home has multiple cooling units and ceiling fans, but during your stay you ran the heater and air conditioner at the same time, which prevented the AC from functioning properly. As for blinds, the many ocean‑facing windows are intentionally left uncovered to preserve the panoramic views that many guests love, while also creating a bright ambiance throughout the entire home. Finally, the home is our family’s residence when not rented, so some personal items are stored in clearly designated areas. We ensure all guest spaces remain clean, organized, and fully accessible.
