Hi, I’m Irene! I’m a New York–based mom of two who loves hiking, cozy mountain getaways, and sharing great spaces with others. My family and I spend a lot of time in the Catskills, and we created Unwind Windham as a place where families and friends can relax, connect, and make lifelong memories.

Hosting is special to me because I get to help guests experience everything I love about this area—breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and charming local spots for food and fun. Whether you’re here for skiing, hiking, or simply unwinding by the fire, I’m thrilled to welcome you!

We chose Windham because it’s the perfect balance of peaceful mountain living and small-town charm. The neighborhood has stunning views of the Catskills, fresh mountain air, and a welcoming, family-friendly vibe.

What I enjoy most is how easy it is to unplug and enjoy the outdoors—whether it’s hiking the Windham Path, exploring Kaaterskill Falls, or just sipping coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise over the mountains. At the same time, you’re only minutes away from great restaurants, cozy cafés, and local shops, so it’s convenient without losing that “escape from it all” feeling.

Unwind Windham is unique because it’s designed for families and groups to truly relax together. The chalet comfortably sleeps 12 guests, with spacious common areas that encourage gathering but plenty of private nooks for quiet time.

You get stunning mountain views right from the deck, plus cozy features like a fireplace, fire pit, and a fully stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals. We’ve also added thoughtful family-friendly touches—a pack ’n play, games, kids’ dinnerware, and more—so parents can travel lighter.

Best of all, it’s just minutes from Windham Mountain, hiking trails, lakes, and local restaurants, making it a true four-season escape where you can ski in the winter, hike in the summer, and enjoy the Catskills year-round.
