We are glad you enjoyed your stay.  We are unaware of any dated items, but we will make sure the property is deep cleaned.

The Poponi Cottage ad is accurate with professional photos (2025) of interior, exterior and an aerial photo showing the entire property with villa, cottage and beach. The cottage has a beautiful, private lawn for the short walk to the beach. You chose to walk by the villa, both options were explained to you. The cottage sits on a 4 acre garden estate with over 430 ft of beach frontage, as advertised. The kitchen stove is brand new this season and guests have enjoyed using it. You never mentioned any issues with it to us during your several week stay. The sliding doors have screens that are on a track - the screens do not lean against the doors. If a screen comes off for some reason, we have fixed it immediately for you. The cottage is equipped with a large ceiling fan and an Innovator split air conditioner (36,000 BTU) which cools the studio quickly and efficiently. We do ask guests to turn the AC off when leaving the cottage. Eleuthera is an out island with a fragile electric infrastructure and we try to be mindful of this. As owners we always welcome guests when they arrive, answering any of their questions and try to stop over prior to their departure to thank them - which is what I did. I did stop by for a minute to let you know we were leaving a basket of clean linens and towels for you and where. I spoke with you on the landing and never went into the cottage. I answered all of the several dozen text messages and emails that you both sent to me over your stay. Poponi has its own water system due to the many water outages with island/city water and for our guests' comfort. There are no “hot water restrictions” mentioned anywhere and this statement makes no sense. The island did experience an extended power outage during your stay - we ran our generator the entire time for your comfort - all amenities were available - lights, refrigerator, ceiling fan, water (hot & cold), wifi, cable, TV etc. The AC will overload the generator and we explain this in Welcome information at the cottage. We brought over a floor fan for your comfort, you did not request this. We work hard to make sure our guests' experience is a positive one, and we are sorry the cottage was not a good fit for you both. We were happy that you enjoyed the beautiful Poponi beach and its amenities. Missy

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at Poponi cottage. The lounge chairs have been replaced. If it had been requested, we could have replaced them during your stay. The AC works fine. We have never had any complaints about it and it's working fine today. As a courtesy for our guests we provide wireless, high speed internet. It is up to the guests to bring cell phones. Poponi cottage does have ocean views. The two story cottage sits above the house which is one story.
