Great Location in Paris

Spent a few days in Paris with family to site see. Location, property and host were all excellent! Very roomy for the four of us. Meticulously clean and well appointed. Great restaurants, right next to a metro line - perfect recipe for stress free visit!

Wonderful historic apartment with plenty of space

A fabulous stay in a fabulous apartment! We had plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out and it was remarkably quiet at night even though in a busy area. We really enjoyed experiencing the Parisian Hausmann apartment style, and it was well-outfitted with good beds, sheets, and a well-stocked kitchen. Mathilde was a gracious and helpful host. Would stay there again!

Wonderful Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was spacious for our family of 6. Very well appointed with almost anything you could need. The apartment itself is very charming. Very close to the metro, bakery, grocery store and restaurants. The owners were conscientious and kind.

Fantastic Place!

Absolutely loved this place. It's right next to a metro station, around the corner from a Lidl and a million great patisseries and restaurants. The building is old and beautiful and both the host and the building manager (who didn't speak any English but still managed to communicate perfectly), were just wonderful. We were able to check in very early after our flight from the US landed at 7 am in the morning which made a huge difference to our tired family. Highly recommend.

In 2007 our family (two parents two young children) stayed in the Paris Apartment for 5 nights. We thought the apartment was fantastic - well located, large and with lots of charm. Easily exceeded our expectations. Also, Adolphe (the owner) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped Parisian apartment. Good location and charming hosts.

Our family of four (two adult children) loved staying in this well-appointed, clean,and spacious apartment in a classic French building. The hosts were gracious and interested in our comfort. The neighborhood was well-situated and full of traiteurs, bakeries, and cafes. We could easily walk to the Marais, to Notre Dame, to Pêre Lachaise. There was also a Metro stop half a block away.

Lovely and Large

This three bedroom elegant apt was perfect for our family of two grandparents, two adult daughters and their families. It was spacious and lovely; allowing quiet space for everyone and community space for the whole family to gather. We had a few large meals at the dining room table that were wonderful. The apt is well equipped and had everything we needed. The neighborhood allowed for easy transportation to anywhere we wanted to go. We'd recommend highly!

Wonderful stay in Paris

We were graciously greeted by Mathilde who provided much details about the apartment, including advice and tips on how to best move around the city. This beautiful apartment, in a 19th century building, made our stay in Paris very pleasant and special. The apartment was spotless, beds were comfortable, towels and blankets were cozy, overall we had everything we needed . We were very thankful to the owner for his flexibility in adjusting to our travel schedule. I would request to stay again on our next trip to Paris.

Very Nice Apartment

Our family of 7 stayed here for 2 nights after Christmas 2016. First - the service provided by Mathilde and her family was great! We were running late due to getting caught in Paris traffic. Really appreciated her patience in waiting for us to finally arrive! Very nice apartment located in a nice area. Very secure apartment building with the apartment on the 4th floor. This is an older building - so the elevator is very small (2 people plus luggage are a tight fit). Great location - a metro stop is less than 75 meters away - with another metro stop less than 15 minutes away. Lots of restaurants, shops in the area. There is a Carrefour Express just down the street for basic grocery shopping. The kitchen is very modern - even though we didn't use any of the appliances except the refrigerator. There have a washer/dryer in one of the bathrooms (didn't use them) with instructions in English. Even with the local traffic - the street noise was minimal in the apartment. The two bathrooms are fine - they provide plenty of towels. There seems to be plenty of storage for longer stays. The couch in the living room is a pull out bed - which our son thought was fine. The dining room has a nice writing table that has information about Paris and places to see. While we stayed, there was a slight "musty" odor in the dining room - even though we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment. In the living room - there is plenty of seating for 7 people which was nice for family socializing to discuss the day's events. A very nice place to stay. Would recommend it for consideration on trips to Paris.

If I could give this 7 stars, I would!!

This will forever be my favorite VRBO experience. Mathilde and Eric have thought of everything. My family of three stayed in this flat for six nights. The owners are friendly and quick to respond to every email. Mathilde met us at the door and oriented us to the building and the flat. The flat is on the fourth floor and there is an elevator that was always there when we needed it- especially for luggage! It's not hard to walk up the stairs, they are wide and well-lit. We preferred walking up most nights to burn off the calories from all the fabulous meals at nearby restaurants! This apartment is extremely clean with two full bathrooms. There are fans in EVERY ROOM!! We were visiting during the heatwave and the apartment was so comfortable the entire time. There is a washing machine in the bathroom with a drying rack and clothes pins. I'm telling you, Mathilde has thought of everything! Don't overpack!! The metro is less than a block away and the attendants there are the nicest, most helpful in the entire city. From this location we visited every part of Paris and Versailles with ease. We also returned to CDG using the metro and RER in a bit less than an hour. The owners provide a notebook with addresses to restaurants and amenities in the neighborhood. We loved this property because we felt like we were part of the neighborhood. The residents of the building were friendly,too. I highly recommend this property and hope Mathilde and Eric will let us stay again, because I plan to return! ...almost forgot to mention the fresh flowers and wonderful bottle of wine on the dining room table when we arrived- thank you Mathilde!

Excellence in the11th Arondissement

This apartment made our visit to Paris an extraordinary one. I have been to Paris many times, fellow travelers never. The seletion of the apartment made our stay so exciting, so easy to navigate in the City and STILL feel as though we were in a neighborhood. A perfect combination. The place was spotless, easy to find with a taxi from the airport. Instructions were precise. Were were met proptly by the owner who gave us a very thourough understanding of how the apartment works. It was beautiful! We felt very much at home immediately. All questions were answered and we were left with a detailed reference guide.

A lovely stay in Paris

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Our family of 6 were very comfortable, enjoying a spacious living room, very well appointed kitchen and inviting dining room. Bedrooms were cozy and private, the bathrooms (with showers!) were quite large and also, very private. The entire apartment was exceptionally clean with many, many amenities. The check in process was seamless: Mathilde met us at the apartment and went over every detail (in English, thank you!) and simply made us feel welcomed and excited about our stay. The apartment is perfectly located - 100 yards from a metro stop AND since we were traveling with an elderly family member, an easy spot for an UBER pick up. (there is also a lift, which made it easier for folks who were too tired for the stairs!) Mathilde directed us to nearby supermarkets and delicious boulangeries! We would happily stay here again as this lovely home provided a chance for our family to enjoy our evening aperos and petit dejeuners as real Parisians! Merci, for wonderful memories!

Special, charming home away from in Paris.

Check in process so easy with Mathilde who speaks excellent English. Spacious apartment ideal for two couples and two teenagers. Enjoyed family meals in the real dining room as well as relaxing in the evening in the living room. Comfortable beds always nice. Metro stop Saint Maur one block away as well as several grocery stores and bakeries nearby. We walked everywhere. Delightful place to stay in Paris for a week!

Stay here while in Paris

What a really great flat for a family or group of friends to stay for a trip to Paris. There is a lift so no worries about stair climbing if your not up to it. There is plenty of living space and a fully equipped kitchen if you feel inclined to fix snacks or a full meal. The location is so close to the subway or the MTR which ever term you use for public transportation. It was so easy for us neophytes to use the subway and connecting trains to go almost everywhere. The owner even directed us to an app for our phones that is in English they will detail your subway route to wherever you you need to go. We have stayed elsewhere in Paris before and had more difficulties getting around as that location was not close to any MTR station. Will be staying here again when we return to Paris.

Perfectly Parisian

This apartment is perfectly Parisian - moulding, beveled glass French doors, and herringbone floors. It is in an historic building with large windows overlooking a leafy street. The metro is just across the street, as is a grocery store. The apartment is very spacious with 3 roomy bedrooms and two updated bathrooms. The furnishings are comfortable. For the space, location, and price, I don't think this apartment can be beat. The owners were easy to work with, and the property manager was great, even leaving us a bottle of wine. I only wish we had more time in Paris and at this apartment.

Great place in Paris

It was a spacious Paris apartment in a great location. Easy access to the metro and great restaurants, grocery, and bakeries in walking distance. We felt it was overall quiet and had nice amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and linens were of good quality. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to others!

LOVELY PARIS APARTMENT

This very charming and spacious apt was perfect for our family of 6. We were met promptly by Mrs. Moneger who gave us the keys and took plenty of time to explain everything we needed to know about the apt and the area. The apt was very clean and in perfect order. Mrs. M even left fresh flowers and a nice bottle of wine! We were there 5 nights and cooked many meals in the well appointed kitchen. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It was perfect! Great stay for Family of 7

Our family of 7 stayed here and it was perfect! Easy access to metro. Great restaurants near by. Owner was so sweet and always responded when I had questions! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Paris!!!

Comfort and convenience in Paris

As a family of five, I knew an apartment with a kitchen and washer/dryer would make Paris much more comfortable. This was my third trip to Paris and know well how small hotel rooms are. I booked this property because of the price, amenities, and reviews. I did get a little nervous on the train to Paris, wondering if the apartment would be good and considering briefly what options we had if it was a nightmare. One quick metro ride from St Lazare we were there and I was turned around. I walked the opposite way out of the metro and crossed over to the other side of the street! I texted Mathilde that I was close, but not there yet. She rushed down to meet us just as we got ourselves righted. What a delight. Mathilde graciously led us up to the beautiful apartment and gave us a tour and lessons on appliances. All the info is left in a notebook and was helpful to jolt my memory later in the week. This was my first trip to France with my two youngest, both girls. The building is super secure with a locked gate and another locked door into the building. The neighborhood itself is wonderfully peaceful and I felt fine walking to shops with my girls or to the metro without my husband or son. There is a delightful bakery around the corner that my children would run out to in the morning and load up on beignets! I only cooked one meal in the apartment, but was glad to be able to scramble eggs in the morning and reheat take out. We kept plenty of snacks and drinks in the kitchen to keep us going through the days. My husband has mobility issues and found great comfort in the apartment. When he felt good, he joined us. But when he needed to rest, he was just fine staying behind and enjoying the beauty of the rooms. Each room has terrific architecture and people watching from the 5th floor is delightful. I read on their website they offer long term rentals. I told my husband if I ever disappear, he should look first for me in Paris!
