Exactly what we needed

This was the first time our family stayed at a short-term rental property, and we enjoyed the experience immensely. The property was very nice, the kids loved the pool, and the nearby beach. We will certainly do this again. We only wish our stay was longer!

Pleasant retreat.

We arrived to a clean comfortable condo with plenty of simple necessities for a stay on the island. Plenty of room, outdoor seating, garage and even sundries to use on the beach. Comforting to know that after a long day this little retreat was waiting.

North Padre Vacay

Our stay at the condo was exactly what we hoped it would be. The condo was clean and cozy. Our host, Karen, was amazing. When we had questions she was quick to answer and help us out. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Experience

Karen is a gracious and thoughtful hostess. She made sure to know what time we were arriving and left the lights on since it was late (made later by plane delays!). She responded to questions pre and during rental quickly. Rental is about 7 minutes from Mustang Island State Park, which we really enjoyed. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. Rental is a nice size and it was very quiet inside. Only street noise we ever heard was a motorcycle every once in awhile and never at night. Having the little backyard space was lovely as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Rental

We were so pleased with this property. The location in town and even where the unit was located within the property. It was really nice and clean. They had anything we could possibly need included in the unit and that was really nice. The owner was extremely nice and quick with communication. We are planning on staying here again, for sure!

Quite the Beach Getaway!

This was our family’s first visit to this area. It was just us and our two adult kids. What a nice surprise this property and location was for us. The condo was perfectly laid out for us, very clean, had all the amenities we could possibly need; and was perfectly located to the beach, pool, and local restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan to come back here next time we want to get away as a family for the weekend. Hopefully, this wonderful place will be available when we do!😊

Perfect for us-

This condo was absolutely perfect for us this year. We usually have our daughters with us and need more room. However, my husband and I just had our 1-year-old granddaughter and my 80-year-old mother-in-law with us. Finding a single story condo is not easy, so this find was awesome! They even had a high chair, a pack-n-play and a little fenced in yard. The pool was close by and perfect for all ages. Most importantly, it was SPOTLESS! Everything about this condo was comfortable, clean, convenient-Perfect! Karen kept us very up to date about the ordinances on the island due to COVID and even texted us that we could check in early because the cleaning lady had finished. We will definitely reserve this home again! Thank you Karen!😊

Beautiful and roomy

We were so impressed by this townhouse. It was beautifully decorated, clean and very roomy. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The pool is amazing! The owner was so attentive and texted us to make sure we were checked in ok and to be sure we didn't need anything. We had a medical emergency and had to leave early. The owner was extremely generous and understanding when we had to leave early. We have stayed in the condos at the beach and they were not nearly as nice as this one. We will absolutely stay there again!

This condo was a great find!!

We stayed at the Barefoot Beach getaway for 2 nights on a recent family vacation. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The unit had comfortable furniture, beautiful decor and was spotless - and smelled great!! We found the unit to be stocked with everything we needed, and so much more...including a welcome bucket, beach towels, lawn chairs, floats, toys and even sunscreen! The pool was a big hit with the kids and the beaches were just a short drive. The property was extremely quiet and very well maintained. Unit has a garage (with door opener) which made it easy to load & unload in the Texas heat. The owner was great to work with. We will definitely stay here again! Great find!!!!

Amazing!!

The room has everything you need to enjoy your stay. My family of 6 stayed for 4 nights, we had everything we could possibly need. We loved the key code entry on the door so we did not have to worry about having an extra key on us.The owners were the best I have ever dealt with!! She made sure to be available if we needed anything at all but we didnt because the condo was perfect!The back patio wqs perfect for kids to get some freedom,loved having a washer in unit and the pool was AMAZING.I will be going back next summer no doubt!

My whole family stayed for 7 wonderful nights we had a blast.

The property was all that it said it was and more. The condo was very accommodating nice comfy beds, it was quiet at night and cool a/c patio outback to sit when you wanted to enjoy the evening and kitchen was well supplied with all your cooking needs, there was BBQ pits near the pool which was no need to bring your own. Only a few blocks from the beach we could go and spend a few hours and come back rest easily. The pool was fantastic we spent a lot of time there a place for everyone from infants to adults. I spent some beautiful sunrises on the beach. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Padre. Loved It The whole McNair Family

Beautiful, clean and comfortable

We have stayed at several different condos on North Padre. Everything from Nautilus Galleria to Beach Club, and the little beach houses across the street from Schlitterbahn. This place was by far our favorite! When they say fully stocked kitchen they mean it. We had everything we needed and then some. Parking was convenient. The location is great. It's not far from the beach at all and there are great places to eat close by as well. The owner, Karen was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The pool is beautiful and a lot of fun. We will definitely stay here again!
