Dieses komfortable Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend. Das Haus hat eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Neu renoviert, um Sie in eine milde Stimmung zu versetzen und gleichzeitig in einem frischen neuen Look zu entspannen.

Alles in allem ein großartiger Wohnbereich mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, zwei Queensize-Betten, zwei Einzelbetten (+ eine Queensize-Luftmatratze für einen zusätzlichen Gast) und zwei Badezimmern. I appreciate the host being communicative, cooperative and helpful. The code in the original booking info wasn’t correct. There weren’t as many beds as expected but there was an air mattress thankfully (the first air mattress had a hole in it). The mattresses were pretty uncomfortable.

Great old "NEW" beach house!

The home is nicely decorated, clean and has everything you may need on a vacation. We were in town to celebrate our 30-year High School reunion and there was plenty of space for the three couples. The beach is only a few blocks from the house which is a nice bonus. Thanks for being a great host!

Truly home away from home

We loved our time here. With 3 of us, we each had our own room and more than enough space. The rental had everything we needed (kitchen, home wares, etc.) and was super comfy. Everything was tastefully decorated and Cheree was the best! She was sure to check in to make sure everything was in working order and that we were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again and cannot recommend you stay here enough!!

Great Stay

I will start by saying I was very nervous about renting out someone else house. But once we got there and entered the property I must say the place was nice and well stocked. I would definitely stay again. There were somethings that needed to be fixed but nothing major that we were not able to workout for our weekend stay. At we were so close to everything, the beach was in walking distance.

Nicely decorated and close to beach

Tree on the side of the driveway was hard to navigate as it hung over the walkway and had thornry leaves. Table had an oily look like furniture polish on it and I was afraid to put anything on it and couch could be updated. I would recommend bringing a Firestick or Roku as you only have local antenna channels and it was sporadic on what you could watch. Aside from these minor things, the house was nicely decorated, roomy and had comfortable beds. The host was very quick to answer any questions we had. Close to restaurants, beach and shopping. Would recommend

Recently updated, clean and well maintained

We really enjoyed the amount of space and the well maintained property. There was more than enough room for four of us. The kitchen had all the utensils etc that we’d need, and even some spices etc. The house was very clean and uncluttered, furnishings were nice but not so fussy we had to worry about the kids breaking anything. We did find parking to be a little challenging as the street was full of cars and very narrow; driveway parking is available, but guests in the other unit were using it.I would also recommend stopping at a full service grocery store before arriving if you plan to cook as there weren’t many options close by for fresh meat or produce. We loved the short walk to the beach which was fantastic as all great beaches run out of parking by noon - Beach was clean and easily accessible from parking or street. Being able to pull our wagon there was a huge bonus. We loved the Norfolk area and will definitely consider this property if we return to the area.

Host was great, answered Every question and literally immediately!First and foremost the pictures are NOT an updated version. House could use a good cleaning, Master bath base boards have not been cleaned in a while.Twin bed room closet was NOT GOOD, no place to hang, broken metal just hanging there.Laundry area was real nice.Very spacious dinning and couch area.TV was hard to figure out....uugghhWas great having two bathrooms.Kitchen area was big, lots of counter space. BUT....4 forks...LOL And good thing we brought paper plates... a few of the pans were terrible, but we were able to make due with what was there.Beds were not real comfortable but served there purpose. Pillows were horrible, bring your own!!The house was in a central location to Everything....beach, grocery store, Great burger place, not far from Naval base.. etc. Was good thing we had the whole driveway...parking would have been interesting.....We were very thankful for driveway...Overall we made it home for 4 days. Unless they do better with cleaning we will choose another place. (especially paying 185 cleaning fee)

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH VRBO POPERTY #4709936ha(144 D VIEW AVENUE, NORFOLK, VA)VRBO ONLINE WEBSITE INFORMATIONInformation regarding this property erroneously stated at least five times that we could“enjoy the entire house”. Unfortunately, that information was incorrect. The house is aduplex. The top floor was occupied by some other individual(s). Problems with noisefrom the second floor will be addressed later.Had we known that we were renting only the first floor and not the entire house (as wasclearly stated in the listing), we would not have rented the house. The information regarding the number of bedrooms was also erroneous. The websitestated that there were 4 bedrooms. In fact, there were only 3 bedrooms.  It stated thatthe 4 th  bedroom had a double futon. (We found an uninflated air mattress without anymeans to inflate it in a storage closet.) EMAIL CONFIRMING THE RESERVATIONWas OK. “Keys to your trip” EMAILThe following provides additional problems we encountered.o When we arrived at the property and tried to enter, we found that the informationprovided to us regarding how to operate the entry lock was useless. We calledthe host who said that the code she provided us was incorrect. With the newcode, and by trying various ways to operate the lock, we were finally able to gainentry.o The instructions given to us regarding how to operate the lock were out-of-date.They apparently referred to an old lock, not the one that was currently installed.o

Comfortable Stay

No major issues. Suggestions: Download an app that shows local channels. Antenna didn't work well. Make sure before new tenant arrive, trash needs to be pickup or removed. Included additional TV in the bedrooms. We did watch shows via Netflix and connect our laptop to view shows.

Nice place with good amenities

Property is in a neighborhood about 10-15 min walk to the beach. Descriptions are accurate and Cheree was responsive to questions. The place has decent beds and furnishings. The wood floor is not laid properly (has uneven sections) but not a huge issue. However, there was carpeting elsewhere which felt a little icky but it was ok. The door lock is finicky though and takes several tries to lock/ unlock. The kitchen is well equipped and even had a lot of basic spices etc. this was very useful. Also has a washer/ dryer that is handy. Overall the property is fine and matches the description. We enjoyed our short stay.

Great place to stay. Quiet and convenient.

I really liked staying here. It was only for one night but I was able to get all my clothes washed on our long road trip. Everything I needed was available and there were some nice stores close by. We were even able to take a quick dip in the beach which is close by.

Overall we had a great experience to stay Cheree’s property with nice neighbor and beach.

It is nice to stay at 3 bedrooms house with perfect amenities. Cheree prepared everything and sent messages to us advanced before we came. We had a great experience to stay at cozy house with nice neighbors.The beach is located at 3 blocks down from house with varieties of stores and fast foods services. VA beach is 40 mins away from house by driving and Outlets Mall near by. Overall, we love to stay at Cheree’s house and give A++.

Spacious

Old Beach House is a very nice house with lots of room, and very clean. It has an open floor plan, which is great for a larger family. Our family loved the house . We felt right at home there. Everyone had their own bedroom, and it was good to have two bathrooms. It was so great having a laundry room and Cheree supplied the clothes soap. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals for the family. The dining table is huge,which is a plus, so we could all eat together. There are sidewalks on all the streets, for an evening walk. Very nice neighborhood. The house is about a 5 minute drive to the Ocean View beach, about 8 minutes to Walmart, and about about 30 minutes to Virginnia beach. If we are in the Norfolk area again, we would definitely ask to rent this house again. Thank you Cheree,

First home rental while on vacay!

Thank you for the stay in your lovely home. This was our very 1st home rental on our vacay! We really love the layout and all the accommodations. However, in the advertisement for the home it says "Enjoy the entire house". We felt that was misleading and intrusive to our privacy that someone live above us in the home. The listing states that there is an adjacent unit and also in house rules it informs about other guest. I do not think the property deserves a 3 star but had I not contacted you regarding the noise that was kept up until 4am two nights in a row that disturbed the other guest, I would have had a 5 star. Quiet time after 10pm and no parties or events were also listed in the house rules. Overall you were not bad guest.
