Absolutely gorgeous viktorianische Haus mit Blick auf den herrlichen Chesapeake Bucht. Dieses fabelhafte Haus verfügt über 6 Schlafzimmer (1 Queen im ersten Stock und 2 Queens und 2)
 Zwillinge im zweiten Stock), 4 Bäder (3 mit Marmor und Granit, eines mit Fliesen und Granit) und umlaufende Veranden mit herrlichem Blick. Der dritte Stock hat ein eigenes privates Bett und Vollbad. Perfekt für entspannende und unterhaltsame Familie und Freunde. Der Strand ist weniger als 20 Meter vom Haus entfernt und der Pier liegt nur wenige Schritte entfernt. The vicinity to the beach was exactly what I wanted. The house is in very nice shape for a home of this age, with many modern upgrades. The fact we could have our dog come with us was one of the biggest deciding factors for me. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision to take a trip ( about 2 weeks) and honestly can't believe there was availability on such short notice for 7 night's. Would not hesitate to consider coming back. The restaurant at the pier is a short walk, and the food was great.

Our stay was perfect. The rocking chairs on the big, beautiful porch are the perfect place to escape reality while you watch the waves roll in and the big ship glide by on the horizon. The seabirds provide the ideal amount of entertainment. The interior of the house is the perfect blend of a bygone era and modern day conveniences. The house was 5-star clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the food, drink, and live music at the pier next door. Communication with the host was easy and welcoming. We had no problems during our stay, but felt confident that they would have been addressed immediately based on the accessibility of the host. We look forward to booking our next stay soon!

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful and spacious home! The location is excellent just few steps a from the beach. This is our 3rd year staying at the Big Blue House. Everything we need is right there. Walking on the beach, swimming and our daughter’s family likes to fish off the pier.Quinn was very responsive when we had an issue with the washer. He got it repaired quickly. We really enjoyed our time there. We hope to come back next year!

Big Blue was Great!

What a gem!

This property is amazing! The best part about it is the location. Right on the beach next to the pier that has a restaurant. We loved it! The house is great, it has lots of space and a barbecue in the garden. The pictures don't do justice. The communication with the manager is fantastic; they were ready to resolve any issues immediately (they even sent us a high chair for our baby to sit with us at the table, as our portable high chair could not fit the tables in the house). We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

This property was built during the early 20th century. This house was used as an officer's quarters during World War II. General McArthur actually stayed in this house at one time.
Aside from its history, it is only steps from the Willoughby Beach. The view from the back porch is spectacular, especially the sunrises! You will be amazed at how close you are to the water. It will be an experience you will not forget!

Prime location in Hampton Roads Virginia. The house is located on Willoughby Spit next to a fabulous fishing pier and restaurant. Downtown Norfolk is 15 minutes, Virginia Beach front is 30 minutes, Hampton is 15 minutes, Newport News, 30 minutes, and Colonial Williamsburg is 45 minutes away. If you want to take a day trip to Charlottesville and visit Thomas Jefferson's home, it is worth it! It is 2 and 1/2 hours each way.
