We sincerely regret that your stay at our accommodation was not what you expected. Likewise, we regret that our experience as hosts was not the best due to having you and your dog as tenants. We strive to provide high-quality service to all our guests, which is reflected in our more than 8 years of experience welcoming travelers visiting Costa Rica, as evidenced by our previous reviews. Regarding your stay, we deeply regret the way you spoke about our accommodation. Upon your arrival, the house was in optimal condition to receive you. During your stay, there was an issue with a timer that controlled the automatic irrigation of the garden. However, you did not allow our maintenance and gardening staff to enter and carry out the necessary repairs. Instead, you spoke to them disrespectfully, insinuating that we were "too poor" to provide good hospitality service. You also allowed our cleaning staff to work in the house, but when you left, it was left very dirty, and the trash was not placed in the bin for collection by the garbage truck. Your refusal to allow our gardening team to access the property resulted in much of the garden withering due to the lack of scheduled irrigation, which has required a significant financial investment to restore. Additionally, we allowed you to stay with your dog. However, you allowed the dog to sleep in a bedroom and on the bed. This caused several damages: the dog urinated on the mattress, chewed the living room pillows, destroyed the buttons, and we have had to replace everything to maintain our quality standards. The dog also urinated in various corners of the house, which required deep cleaning. It is worth mentioning that your dog showed aggressive behavior on several occasions, attacking my dog and biting her twice, causing her harm. During your stay, a pool umbrella was also broken. When our administrator contacted you to report the damages, your only response was: “Just wait for my review,” without providing details or cooperating with our administrator to resolve the situation, leaving us with multiple damages to the property. This has been a very unfortunate experience for us, and we sincerely hope that no other host has to go through something similar. We wish to leave this episode behind and continue providing excellent service to our guests, as we have done for so many years.

Kelly and Nancy were wonderful to have around. They were full of joy always lying in the lounge chairs listing to music or swimming in the pool. They were a pleasure to have around and we hope they will come back

This couple were the most wonderful people you could have. They left the place impeccable and a good TIP for the maid who washed the clothes so touching gesture ! I wish more people were like this a good lesson. Thank you so much

thank you so much for you review you were wonderful tenants I just want you to know that here up i the mountain no one has air conditioner we ar 8 degrees less than Atenas center and we have the winds coming from the Atlantic and the Pacific . We are here always to help that is the advantage to have us next door. In atenas if something breaks it takes time to have some one to come we have our own resources and my husband is very handy
