Located in the heart of Hatteras, you're a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 3-minute drive to the ferry to Ocracoke. Come relax, unwind, and catch some good vibes by the sea!

Good Vibrations offers 4 welcoming bedrooms (1 king, 2 with queen beds, 1 with two twins) and 2 full bathrooms. The open living area and well-stocked kitchen make it easy to relax, cook, and reconnect with loved ones after a day in the sun.

We supply a starter set of essentials that includes:

Whether you’re chasing waves, casting lines, or just craving a slower pace, Good Vibrations is your home base for memory-making by the sea.

NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
There is no smoking or vaping permitted anywhere on premises. Any evidence of smoking will result in an additional cleaning fee.

DOG-FRIENDLY BUNGALOW
While we do our best to keep things spotless, this is a dog-friendly zone. If you have allergies to dogs, this may not be the best fit. Our team does a very thorough job cleaning, but it's possible that some pet hair may be stirred up during cleaning and settle afterward.

PET POLICY
-We allow 1 well-behaved pup under 50 lbs to accompany you during your stay. The $80 pet fee covers their stay.

-To keep our space clean and enjoyable for everyone, be sure to dispose of pet waste properly.

-For everyone's safety and comfort, please keep your dog on a leash at all times while on the property.

-We love furry guests, but ask that they stay off the beds. Excessive pet hair in the linens or mattress covers leads to extra cleaning time, and a $50 fee per bed may apply if additional cleaning is required.

BUGS & BEACH LIFE
Good Vibrations is perched right on a gorgeous barrier island in the Outer Banks—surrounded by salty air, sea breezes, and yes… the occasional bug. Living so close to nature means we share our space with some tiny neighbors.

We have professional pest control services regularly, but it’s not uncommon for a bug or two to sneak inside.

What you might see:

-Ants
-Wasps
-Palmetto/Water Bugs (these are the big American cockroaches—not the kind that infest homes)
-Mosquitoes
-Beetles
-Moths

No need to panic if you spot one. It’s all part of the experience! To keep visits to a minimum, we suggest keeping doors and windows tightly closed and turning off exterior lights at night (they throw the ultimate bug party).

QUICK NOTE: We don’t offer refunds for the occasional creepy crawler. But if you spot several in one place and suspect there’s a bigger issue, snap a photo and let us know—we’ll take care of it.

PRIORITY CHECK-IN
We offer Priority Cleaning services for early check in requests. Priority Cleaning is an additional $60 and guarantees the house will be available by 2PM on the day of check-in. Normal check in is 5pm. Requests for Priority Cleaning must be done in writing at least 4 days before check-in.

WEATHER POLICY
Unless Hwy 12 is closed and guests are unable to access the house, no refunds will be provided on account of Mother Nature.

NO RAMP ACCESS
A full flight of outdoor stairs must be utilized to access house entrance. We do not have any elevator/ramp access on the property.
