HELLO & WELCOME! We love this space, and are proud that you've trusted us with your sleep, time, and adventure. We help you start your day with farm fresh eggs and coffee. Our hope is that you won't be disappointed. The Cottage at Dragonfly Meadows is nestled quietly behind our primary residence. Your privacy is assured. We are on site and available should you require any assist or advice throughout your stay- and then after as well!
If you have questions, needs or concerns, please message me through the Vrbo app. You are always welcome to knock on the front or back door as well. I would so appreciate a little note telling me what I could have done to make your stay in our ‘little space’ more pleasant. Thank you!

The Cottage at Dragonfly Meadows is nestled quietly behind our primary residence. It is a quaint 700 sq ft studio apartment with all of the feels and amenities of home. The Cottage is located on a working farm with donkeys, horses, Highland cattle, chickens and sweet guardian livestock dogs. If you love the quiet farm setting, this is the place for you. We are also located in proximity to BNSF train lines. If you love trains, this could be your perfect oasis.

Dragonfly Meadows was established in August of 2023. We are a working family farm complete with a growing orchard (plums and apples currently), garden, egg producing chickens, Highland cows, donkeys and a horse. We are happy to share it all with you.

Our animals and livestock are used to being around people. That being said, they are still animals… Cows have horns and will use them to stop unwanted petting (they get grumpy too some days). The horse and the donkeys will also nip if there is unwanted touching or attention. If you would like to walk around and see the animals, you are welcome to. However, it is at your own risk if you try to touch, pet or come in contact with the animals. PLEASE stay outside of the fenced areas.

CHECK IN/OUT: Please Check-in any time after 3pm, with check out by noon on your day of departure. Should you need a later check out time, we will try to accommodate. If our next guest isn't arriving soon we will do our best to extend your check out time.

PETS: Unfortunately we cannot allow pets.

QUIET TIME: 10pm to 6am Sun-Thurs, & 11pm to 7am Fri-Sat. All occupants present at these times must be registered guests ONLY. Thank you for being courteous to your neighbors!

PARTIES: This space is quaint and quiet. We ask that no parties be held during your stay. It is fine to have people over for a meal, however the cottage is only set for 2 people.

DRIVEWAY: We have a 2 car guest max in the driveway, as there are 2 living spaces on this property. Please park far right (in front of the cottage). Entrance is to the LEFT side of the cottage.

PROVIDED FOR YOU: There is a full kitchen in this fun space, complete with: Microwave, fridge, freezer, sink and coffee maker and additional small appliances- all guests will receive 2 mornings of coffee, 6 FARM FRESH eggs, Tea bags, beverage condiments and basic spices. When in season on our farm, you may also get FARM FRESH apples and plums.

The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen tools and utensils-a-plenty. A quick trip to the grocery store 2 minutes away and you could easily cook and enjoy a delicious meal. All other food/meals must be provided by our guests.

GAMES: Indoor games are in the drawers under the TV. Outdoor games are available on request. We have Kub, Yardzee and Corn Hole.

OUTDOOR FURNITURE: The furniture set is out the back door and to the left on the concrete patio. Please feel free to move it anywhere you would like in the yard, please be careful though, it’s heavy!

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
PAPER PRODUCTS: Toilet paper and paper towels can be found on the shelving behind the large barn doors (laundry room).

TOWELS: Kitchen dishtowels are in the left-hand drawer in the kitchen island. The bathroom is provided with 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 4 wash cloths. Please let us know if you need more, or replacements.

TRASH: Please place trash in the trash cans provided in kitchen and bathroom. New kitchen trash bags are provided under the kitchen sink. Please place bagged trash into the round gray trash can by the back door of the Cottage.

TOILETRIES: These are not provided, but should you forget a needed toiletry text/contact us! We may have a no cost replacement to make your stay more comfortable.

LAUNDRY: There is a full laundry set up for your use. We will provide 2 laundry packets with detergent and fabric softener.

BEDDING: The bed is already made with the linens and blankets. Should you need them, extra blankets and pillows are available in the bedroom closet.
