Although very central, The Retreat is situated on a quiet street, tucked away from the busy town centre.

Built of Lakeland stone in the early 1900s and sympathetically renovated in 2022, The Retreat offers a large master bedroom overlooking the town and mountains in the distance. Both king size bedrooms boast superbly comfortable Harrison Spinks 22000 sprung mattresses and the master has an exquisite copper freestanding bath. The bathroom is offers a wonderful monsoon shower.

The property is a traditional Lakeland terraced house. Walking in through the newly renovated front entrance you will find ample space for your walking boots, coats and bags. The hallway leads you to a spacious lounge with smart TV, books, puzzles and games and leads through into a spacious kitchen diner with fireplace. The well equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave as well as all pot, pan, crockery, glasses and utensils that you may need during your stay.
