The Space:

The lodge features two beautifully appointed homes—a main cabin and a separate carriage house—together offering 8 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 24 guests. Designed for both adventure and relaxation, the property includes over 4 miles of private hiking trails, a hot tub with panoramic mountain views, a game room, and a creekside bonfire pit. Whether you’re gathering with family or friends, Hiker’s Dream Lodge delivers the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and unforgettable Smoky Mountain experiences.

Cosby is known for its quiet charm, scenic drives, and uncrowded hiking trails — including the nearby Cosby Campground and Hen Wallow Falls.



Unlike the bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Cosby lets you truly unwind. When you do want to explore, you're just a short drive from local favorites like Carver’s Orchard, ziplining adventures, whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River, and the Appalachian Trail.



This is an ideal spot for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone looking to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with the outdoors.



A vehicle is recommended to fully enjoy the area. The lodge is easily accessible by paved roads and offers private parking for up to 4 vehicles.

While the property feels worlds away, you're only:

• 10 minutes to the Cosby entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

• 25 minutes to Gatlinburg

• 30–40 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood

• 15 minutes to Interstate 40 for quick access to Asheville, Knoxville, and beyond



Restaurant recommendation: The Greenbrier - 35 min drive (21.1 miles)



There’s no public transportation or rideshares nearby, so plan to drive — and enjoy the scenic roads while you do.

Guest Access:

• Access codes will be provided for self-check-in.

• Guests have exclusive access to the entire property, including both the main cabin and the carriage house.

• Enjoy the private hiking trails, hot tub, bonfire pit, and game room. Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles.

Features Description:

• Age: All guests must be 21 years or older with the exception of children with their parents.

• Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage.

• Trash: There are outdoor trash cans in bear proof containers. Please do not leave any trash outside of these cans as wildlife will rummage through it.

• Pet-Friendly: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs with prior approval. A $150 non-refundable pet fee applies. Please keep pets off furniture and crated if left unattended.

• Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability. Fees apply and vary depending on the requested time, with a starting fee of $60. We may not always be able to accommodate these requests—please message us in advance for details.

• Please bring your personal toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. A starter supply of the items listed above will be provided. Guests will provide their own supplies after depleting the starter supply of these items.

• We can host a maximum of 16+ guests (including all adults, children & infants)- for safety (fire & insurance) reasons, we cannot hold any additional guests.

• All amenities including outdoor furniture, wifi, etc are fully inspected prior to every check-in, however, we cannot guarantee their working condition during stays.

• We look forward to hosting all of our upcoming guests. Our cleaning team is going above and beyond to provide top-notch services, with special attention given to high-touch areas. We use commercial-grade antimicrobial agents and ensure that bed sheets and bath towels are professionally laundered between each guest stay.

• However, it's important to note that we cannot guarantee that our properties are 'completely sterile' or 'COVID-free,' just as no other business can reasonably make that claim. Guests are advised to travel and stay with us at their own discretion.

• We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds for cancellations outside of Airbnb's extenuating circumstances policy. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if you are concerned about the possibility of canceling your trip last minute. Travel insurance is affordable and provides excellent protection against unforeseen cancellations.

• We understand that last-minute cancellations can be challenging for guests who choose not to purchase travel insurance. However, we must uphold our owners' cancellation policies to protect their primary source of income and maintain their properties in business. Please book responsibly, and we appreciate your understanding.

• Any noise complaints or law enforcement calls to the home will result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

• Wildlife Warning: This is a true mountain retreat — you may encounter wildlife, including bears, deer, and raccoons. For your safety, do not leave food or trash outside, and always stay alert when exploring the property.

• No Unauthorized Events: Gatherings, parties, or events are not permitted without prior written approval.
