This property is currently listed strictly as a no-party/no-event home, which is clearly stated in the listing and house rules. This policy was put in place after prior issues with large, disruptive gatherings, and it was communicated to this guest before check-in . While the guest referenced a previous conversation from an earlier inquiry, that was before the policy and listing were updated. At the time of this reservation, parties and events were not permitted. During the stay, multiple neighbors reported excessive noise, loud music, and a large number of people entering and exiting the property well beyond the approved 7 registered guests. For the safety and protection of the property and neighborhood, I reached out to the guest several times to remind them of the house rules they agreed to in the rental agreement. After checkout, my cleaning team discovered significant property damage, such as ruined bedding and blankets that had to be discarded. Extra cleaning time was required to restore the home due to the level of use beyond a normal stay. I respect guests who follow the house rules and treat the property with care, but I also have a responsibility to protect my home and maintain a peaceful environment for the community. My communication during this booking was an effort to prevent escalation and ensure compliance—not to inconvenience the guest. Thank you.
