Großes Strandhaus perfekt für Familienurlaub am Meer!

Thank you for the lovely review. We are glad your family enjoyed our home and their time together while attending a wedding in York Beach!

Thank you Christy! So glad you enjoyed your stay with your family. Hope to see you back in the future! Roseann

Thank you Deborah. You were amazing guests :-) and you seemed to find all the best spots to enjoy while you were in York! Please come back soon, Roseann

Thank you Robert! It was a pleasure hosting your family. We do our best to accommodate the needs of our guests so that they have the best vacation possible :-)

Julie, Thank you for the wonderful review. It was our pleasure to host your family reunion. We do our best to make sure the house is clean and stocked with everything necessary to make our guests comfortable! We look forward to hosting your family in the future :-)

Thank you Stephen! We do our best to think of every little thing our guests may need while staying at our property. One previous guest said it was cozy like visiting family. We love hearing that; we think that makes our house unique. And you’re right about the size, the house is ideal for multigenerational renters with plenty of space for family to be together or enjoy time alone on the deck, large private yard, or in one of 2 living spaces. We hope to host you again next year.

Thank you Cynthia. We agree, our home is perfect for multi-generational family vacations as it is located on the Nubble peninsula in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. The 6'x5' outdoor shower with rain head and hand help shower head is also one of favorite things about the house! ... it's perfectly nestled in a private spot in the large yard. We hope you return with your family!!

Thanks Chris, You and your party were ideal guests! We hope to have you back n the future.

Thank you Alex! We’d love to have you band your girlfriends back again. We’re glad you all found the home comfortable. We have all new mattress and bed linens, and continue to bring in new varieties of pillows hoping our guests find that “just right” fit. Thanks for the great review!! Roseann

Thank you Jackie. We try to make each party feel like they’re our guest vs renters; so we’re very glad you and your friends had a great girls’ weekend. Our home is wonderful in the summer, but we love the winters there too. The large fireplace is so amazing; you can’t beat a glass of wine by a cozy fire! We hope to see you again in the future, Roseann

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you and your family again in the future!

Thank you for your lovely review! We're glad our home had everything needed to make your family gathering comfortable and enjoyable! Having all the baby gear available to our renters (port-a-crib, bed rails, high chair, baby plates/cups/utensils, etc...) makes travel lighter and vacation easier for those traveling with babies and small children. We'd like to think that we'd thought of every convenience for our guests -- even the little ones! We hope to host you in the future, Roseann

It was our pleasure hosting you and thank you for such an amazing review. We love when people come from all over to experience Maine for the first time and I was happy to act as a tour guide or concierge!. It can be daunting planning a vacation, so I’m glad my “Things To Do Guide” was helpful. The beaches are lovely, but there’s so much more to do and explore. I was delighted to see you grabbed some lobster and attempted cracking and eating to get that quintessential Maine experience. Our kitchen comes fully stocked which includes all the lobster tools as well as “how to eat Lobster step-by-step” plates. It’s messy, but worth it! Best, Roseann

Wow. Thanks for the great review Steve. We’re glad you found the house so comfortable and our location on “The Nub” was so close to your venue! Our house is located in a quiet, private road which lends itself to a very relaxing vacation with plenty of room inside or outside on the deck or the large yard. We do our best to make sure our guests are comfortable while at our rental. I like to think that I’m a bit of a concierge for our guests! Hope to have you back again some day!!

Thanks for your fabulous review. I’m glad you mentioned the outdoor shower.! There is nothing like an outdoor shower after the beach or a hot summer day. Ours is very large and in private area of the large yard. So glad your grandson loved it too. The handheld shower head has an adjustable height making it easy to hose down the little ones :-) we host mostly families and having all the kid and baby gear makes it easy for those traveling with children, from potable crib, high chair, bed railing, etc.. We look forward to hosting you again!

Thank you for your great review! We feel our home is unique in that it doesn't feel like a tired crowded beach rental -- but more like a warm and inviting home we're you can relax. Newly renovated, it has comfortable new mattresses, pillows, linens, a fully stocked kitchen with new stove and Weber grill. But when you want some excitement you are close to all that York has to offer with great shops, restaurants, beaches, surfing, fishing, boating, and quick car rides to surrounding coastal towns that all have their own quaint feel. And York is a little over an hour from Boston and close to PEASE airport in Manchester, NH. Thanks for booking summer 2018!

Dara, Thank you for the lovely review! We agree it’s so close to all the attractions but yet in a quiet relaxing location. We love our house and glad you did too. Glad you’ll be coming back next year!! The Sauers

Thank you Susan, we love our location as well, we love spending time on the beach but love going back to our home on the Nubble peninsula and it's large private yard and relaxing outdoor spaces. Many of our renters are like you, families reunited to spend quality time together. The house has ample indoor, and you mention, outdoor spaces to do that! We hope you'll visit again soon at any time of the year :-)

Thank you for the 5 star review!! We also love the short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse and even closer walk to Dunne’s Ice Cream stand. Our street even has its own neighborhood access which make nightly ice cream runs too easy! And yes, we have excellent WiFi! Which you don’t get all over York, so thanks for pointing that out. Glad you and your family enjoyed our home and hope to see you back again!

Hello David, Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. You really hit all the key features of the house. It is perfect for multigenerational families where you can come together or spread out. We also have a large yard to enjoy as well. And yes, kids love their sleepovers in the bunk room complete with Shark decor! We’re glad you enjoyed the decks, and star gazing from the upper one; on a clear night it’s fabulous just looking up while listening to the surf hit the rocks. We’re less than a mile to either long or short sands - some do walk, or get up early to find a spot. There are many lots where spots are available as well on long sands (that’s our preferred beach) as well. We’re so happy the house fit your family’s needs and hope to see you back soon! Roseann

We were so glad to have someone enjoy our house over the holidays!! The fieldstone fireplace is great on this cold winter nights.
