IDYLLIC MOUNTAIN VIEW RETREAT, Luxus Lodge & Camping Cabin - eine geräumige Lodge & Hütte am Fluss in der Nähe von Sunriver. Das Mountain View Retreat ist eine wunderschön rustikale, praktische, moderne 3600 Quadratmeter große Lodge auf einem sehr privaten Gelände am Deschutes River, nur 10 km südlich des weltberühmten Sunriver Resorts, 25 Minuten von Bend und 30 Minuten von Mount Bachelor Schneepark. Wenn Sie zu den spektakulären Cascade Mountain Region Zentral-Oregon angezogen, ist dies der perfekte Ort, um alle Vorteile, es zu bieten hat. Das Haus mit sechs Schlafzimmern und vier Bädern bietet Platz für bis zu 18 Personen und liegt direkt am Fluss mit Blick auf eine wild lebende Halbinsel, die durch eine große Kurve im Deschutes River geschaffen wurde. Hirsche, Elche, Otter, Füchse, Streifenhörnchen, Adler, Enten und Gänse, und viele andere Vogelarten sind in regelmäßigen Blick. Flußabwärts Blick auf den Mount Bachelor, mit seinen Weltklasse-Skigebiet, eröffnet, zusammen mit Blick auf anderen nahe gelegenen Berge.

Wenn Sie eine große Gruppe haben oder einfach etwas mehr Platz am Fluss haben möchten, können Sie unsere neue Campinghütte hinzufügen! Die CAMPING CABIN (für bis zu 6 Personen). "Hinter" dem Haus, auf der Flussseite in der Nähe des Docks, befindet sich eine neu gebaute Kabine mit 12 'von 16' 'und überdachter Veranda. Ein großartiger Ort zum Verweilen, nur wenige Meter vom Fluss entfernt, oder um die meiste Zeit des Jahres bequem zu "campen". Die Campinghütte verfügt über zwei Etagenbetten, darunter ein Doppel-Futon und ein Einzelbett. Es hat auch einen Tisch und Stühle, Beleuchtung und Wärme, aber kein Wasser. Die Kabine bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. WÄSCHE werden für die Kabine NICHT bereitgestellt. Bringen Sie also Ihre Schlafsäcke oder Bettwäsche mit, wenn Sie draußen campen möchten! (Bettwäsche wird für alle regulären Betten im Haus bereitgestellt.)

Das Hinzufügen der Campinghütte ist für Gruppen von 18 oder weniger kostenlos. Für größere Gruppen ist der Zugang zur Kabine mit einer Gebühr von 15 USD pro Nacht und zusätzlich bis zu einem Aufpreis von 24 Personen abgedeckt.

Wir sind genug, um Sunriver schließen seine Annehmlichkeiten zu genießen - von denen viele für die Preise Voll- und Halb Tag zugänglich sind - und doch weit genug weg von all der Hektik, die mit Resort leben kommt.

Die Hauptetage des Mountain View Retreat umfasst einen mehr als 1200 Quadratmeter großen Wohnbereich mit einem Wohnzimmer, einem Esszimmer mit Sitzplätzen für 12 oder mehr Personen und einer Landküche mit einem Ess- und Sitzbereich, nahe genug an den Essbereich kann zusammen essen! Der Essbereich öffnet sich auf eine Holzterrasse mit Liegestühlen und zwei Picknicktischen, die sich entlang des Hauses erstrecken und den Fluss überblicken. Zwei der vier oben / Hauptebene Schlafzimmer öffnen sich in ihr eigenes Bad. Alle Zimmer im Obergeschoss mit einer Ausnahme haben Blick auf den Fluss. Zehn kann bequem auf dieser Ebene schlafen, plus ein oder zwei Kinder in unserer zusammenklappbar Krippe und Pack & Play. Bringen Sie einen Schlafsack mit, und Sie können noch mehr auf der Couch im Hauptschlafzimmer schlafen.

Unten befinden sich zwei weitere Schlafzimmer, ein Badezimmer und ein Spielzimmer mit einem Billardtisch und log Etagenbetten. Alle Zimmer sind mit Blick auf den Fluss. Sechs können hier bequem nach unten schlafen. Der Whirlpool, Dock und Deck überragend den Fluss können alle aus dem oberen Deck zugegriffen werden kann, oder durch das Spielzimmer.

Amazing lodge right on the Deschutes River

We held a family reunion here for 15 people. We took full advantage of the river and rafted almost every day, but were still close enough to Sunriver Village and Bend to make several outings. This home is incredibly well equipped for cooking and family game nights. It was comfortable and the caretaker was available to help us with any questions that came up. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property with plenty of space

Old timey cabin vibes with super cool views and convenient location between bend and mt bachelor. Saw herds of elk up close, lots of goose annd coyotes anbd some beavers. Owners were very responsive and there was plenty of wood on site for some fires after a long day at the mountain.

Absolutely beautiful views! Kitchen nicely equipped, nice hot tub, comfortable gathering spaces. Most of the beds were too hard & uncomfortable, except the 1 Tempur-pedic. Very nice location, nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the area, Bend, Newburg, & Paulina Peak are must sees. We had a great time & would definitely rent again.

Stunning!

We had extended family staying in the home and had an absolute blast. The place was perfect. We are definitely wanting to rent it again. The view was breathtaking, the lay out worked great for our group. Having the dock access to the river right there was so convenient- easy to float from Big River to the home, or from the home to Harper Bridge, as a couple of options. Close enough to Bend and Sunriver for the young adults to go have fun and much more relaxed than being in town. Nice to just hang out in a beautiful place!

Amazing!

Our group had such a blast staying here. We had 11 adults and 6 kiddos ranging from infant-5 years. The space worked wonderfully and the view to the river was spectacular. Quick drive into Sunriver (about 10 minutes) and only 20 minutes to Bend. One of the best homes for a large gathering we have been to. Jane as the property manager was phenomenal throughout the process as well!

very nice property a bit dated but kept up well for the most part. problem with a broken pipe creating a bedroom unable to be slept in which we were able to work around by putting 2 teens in a tent on the deck next to the river. The maintenance man was very responsive as was the manager. over all we made it work and had a good time. I would hope for some additional compensation for the broken pipe and flood but that is up to you

Awesome Family Vacation Site

The most beautiful vistas available!! The home size and layout is perfect for a multigenerational vacation. Comfortable room sizes; the beds were great. Bathrooms are furnished with abundant towels and basic toiletries (nice surprise we were not expecting). The docks were so welcome when your party is full of fishermen and waterloving enthusiasts. The water was a bit cool but the float was enjoyed by all. One of the fisherman caught a nice German brown which is now awaiting another angler. The pool table and ping pong table were a hit too. And the hot tub was enjoyed morning and night. Great location for trips to Newberry Crater, Bend and Sunriver. Jane, our manager, was so very easy to work with and so very quick to respond that all questions or tasks were completed without a hiccup. And I guess the biggest compliment was voiced by all as we drove away, "We would sure like to stay here again!" Thanks to all for a great time for all :)

It was not very easy for all of our guests to have space to sleep as we hoped. Fortunately not everyone was able to make it. The cleaner used was way too strong when we arrived. Caused head aches for a few. Lots of cob webs in the down stairs Hot tub level was low when we arrived. Burn season was over but there was a tag above the fire place that said do not use. That was a bummer with the cold temps. The view and property were amazing and you can’t beat the view here. Bbq propane tank did not work. Fortunately I had my own. Over all it was a great stay, just minor things that got over looked before our arrival

Stellar Location

The views and river access are unbeatable! It's difficult to find a place that sleeps this many people, so we are grateful the owners offer this unique property (we gathered to explore the area for my husband's milestone birthday trip.) Being a large house, though, does mean there are cleaning challenges. Lots of dust, and more grime that we usually see in VRBO properties. The owners could help by doing a bit of decluttering - discarding cracked/chipped dishes, reducing the fake foliage & decor items to provide some open flat surfaces (easier to clean, and gives guests places for their stuff.) And getting a dryer that doesn't take two full cycles to dry a load of towels. Oh! And if you're sensitive to smells... there are four stick-&-oil diffusers on the main floor. We found them and set them outside for the duration of our stay, then moved them back inside. Easy fix, but worth knowing as they are quite strong.

Buyer beware?

Although the property is really great and the location is pretty perfect, there's deception surrounding this rental. There's another house attached to this one with people living in it! This is a shared roof with two addresses??? All of the pictures are cropped so that you can't see the caretakers cottage attached to the residence. I was completely distraught when we arrived because I thought we had privacy and We had no idea we were sharing a house with someone. When I contacted the property manager she had the unbelievable nerve to tell me that all this information is provided in the packets. Only problem with this "logic" is that you don't get the packets until after you pay! Thanks for implying that I'm too stupid to know the difference! Very hospitable. All in all it's a great place but you NEED to know the truth and you won't get it from any pictures or the property manager. Good luck y'all!

Ideal location for family fun

We had a family reunion with all our children and grandchildren (20 of us). We all agree this location was perfect for relaxing, playing, hanging out, and having fun filled days. We all loved the 'float loop', and did it countless times. The backyard and deck by the water was the perfect place to hang out, enjoy the beautiful scenery, play games and eat. The pool table, ping pong table and spa added much enjoyment to our days. Jane, the lady that I emailed back and forth with, was amazing! She always responded quickly to my emails, and was so helpful and gracious with all my questions. (-: While we loved our experience, and would highly recommend this listing, there is always room for improvement. The one bedroom upstairs has no HVAC, so was very warm at night for sleeping. We ended up buying a box fan, which solved the problem. There were not enough bath towels, or hooks for hanging, for our large group. Lastly, there was very little cupboard/pantry space for food for 20 hungry people for a week! We made it work, with bins and boxes scattered around. Overall, these were minor inconveniences, and we were able to work around them. More importantly, this property provided the ideal locations for a wonderful week of enjoying time together, and making treasured memories. We are grateful the owners are willing to share their family home, for other families to enjoy.

This house was a perfect fit for our large family gathering. I'm always looking for a home that will accommodate our large group of adults with an adequate number of bedrooms and full beds, not just bunk beds, and this home delivers. The beds were comfy and having AC (not always a given in Sunriver) was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and the view amazing. Our favorite spot was the deck on the river. We spent most of our time there enjoying the sun, playing games and gazing at the view. Several in our party enjoyed floating on the river by putting in at a spot up the road and floating down to the house. We hoped there was a better spot to access and enjoy the river from the property, but this wasn't the case. If you are considering this house, I can highly recommend but be aware they are on a septic system and water conservation is an absolute must.

Family Reunion

Once a year out entire family of children and grandchildren try to have a vacation under one roof. This house exceeded all expectations. There were enough beds for everyone, a well stocked kitchen, a large yard for the kids to run on, and a beautiful view to boot. We kayaked two days in a row right off the deck, paddled boarded, swam, played games, and plan on coming back next year rather than trying to find a "better" place.

Our family absolutely loved this house. Extraordinary views. A ten minute drive to put in our raft and kayaks which led to numerous beautiful floats right to the house! Amazing Stay for a Big Family Gathering

We ADORED this home. We used all seven rooms and still had plenty of extra space to have other family staying in separate rentals visit for breakfast and dinner. The view of the mountain was divine, and it helped us decide whether we would ski on any given day! The fact that we could drive five minutes upriver and float for nearly two hours before washing up on shore was the icing on the cake. We saw woodpeckers, elk, and lots of ducks. Everyone was in love! Kitchen was well-stocked. Hot tub was great. Couldn't ask for more!

Excellent on water experience

The house and bunk house were very well kept and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals for the number of folks the property can hold. The view off the deck and from the hot tub were exquisite.

Fabulous View!! and Relaxing!!

Best view on the Deschutes, looks just like the photos! We all loved our stay!! The Fold & Sunriver Brewing in the Village are great. Did our shopping in Bend at Costco, Trader Joes, Albertson's & a liquor store as stores only sell beer and wine. The Country Store in Sunriver, good for quick food trip but don't buy all your food there. It was difficult to store food for 16 people, no pantry, only 2 lower cabinets. A shelving unit on empty wall in the kitchen would be a nice addition so food could be easily seen and eaten. Bathrooms or bedrooms need hooks for all the bath towels 16 people use. Upstairs is really nice and downstairs is a basement. Outside area needed cleaning everywhere and should have been cleaned, mowed before our arrival. Rented float tubes for 2 days from Sunriver Toyhouse, easy, friendly & gave discount for 16 people. Did a tied up float, 5 min drive to The Big River Campground river entrance. Almost a 90 minute float right up to our dock! All loved how relaxing & quiet it was!! Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and plenty of room for family dinners both inside and on the balcony. Mosquitos come out at sunset! Need bug spray! Took floats to do the Bend float, very fun & longer. Families loved the SHARC waterpark! House is very nice, as pictures show, but needs deep cleaning, carpets need cleaning, closets & kitchen need organizing, just helpful hints. Overall great home & location!! Our family loves Central Oregon, with all of the recreational opportunities, great weather, and convenience to our home in Eugene, OR. We also love river and mountain views, and this property is one of the rare riverfront properties over here that is on the river with great mountain views. It is also a very private location--only four houses on our private road, three of them ours for vacation rentals.

We love this property for its outstanding views, privacy, the Deschutes River for boating, floating, fishing or swimming, easy access to hiking and biking trails, and the close proximity (5 miles) to Sunriver Resort with all the amenities such as golf and tennis courses, the SHARC water park, bike trails, restaurants, groceries, and shops. (Sorry NO WEDDINGS! And no LARGE GATHERINGS beyond the stated occupancy of this property. Thank you!)
