Deschutes Forest Lodge - A beautiful Estate in the Woods - but still close to downtown Bend!

Entering the grounds, the house is set far back from the road. There is a 2 car garage, with an EV Charger, and plenty of off street parking in the driveway. Entering the house you will find a large open main level. The Great Room features a glass garage door that opens up for indoor outdoor living, and in winter provides a wonderful view, as well as letting in lots of natural light. There is a large Smart TV in the Great Room, which includes both streaming opportunities and local channels through cable. There is also a half bath off the Great Room. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with all manner of pots, pans, baking pans, cutting boards, etc... There is a pantry with an extra refrigerator/freezer, and also holds extra pots and pans and serving items, as well as a plethora of small kitchen appliances. Additionally there is a large refrigerator and a large freezer, as well as a Viking Range with 6 burners in the kitchen. And plenty of seating - in the Great Room, and in the kitchen at the island or the large Dining Table. There is also a designated office work space, with a printer and a desktop for guest use. The Primary Suite is also on this level, for those who may be challenged by stairs. This area features a King Bedroom with a desk area and a Smart TV, a gas fireplace, a large walk in closet and a large master bath, with a tub and walk in shower and two vanities (the walk in shower has a bench seat as well). Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 King size, 1 Queen and a Bunk room. Each set of rooms shares a bath and shower combo. Each room has it's own mini walk in closet. Down the hall you will find a large game room, with Ping Pong and Foosball, a game table and a TV, and a half bath. This room also has a bar area, with a mini fridge. Also upstairs is a Laundry Room with a Washer and Dryer. In the back yard there is a large patio area with a fire pit and a hot tub, along with a BBQ, a horse shoe pit and many yard games and lots of seating, when seasonal weather permits. There is a large outdoor dining table under a covered porch area, and a large grassy area for the games.

Weddings and large events are not allowed at this home - the home is in a quiet community - so if you are looking for a party pad - this is probably not the house for you.
