Charmantes Chalet Haus mit eleganten Erkerfenstern mit Blick auf die St. Lawrence River. Nur wenige Minuten von Alexandria Bay entfernt und doch sehr abgelegen. Privater, bewaldeter Eingang, der zu einem 100 Fuß langen Ufer führt, ein 40 Fuß langes Dock, Schwimmen, Angeln, Bootfahren und ein wunderschöner, von Bäumen gesäumter, ebener Hof mit Blick auf die Schifffahrtsrinne.

Klares, sauberes, modern eingerichtetes neues Zuhause. Master-Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und ein Queensize-Bett. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat eine Reihe von Kojen und Zugang zu einem zweiten Badezimmer. Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat ein Schlafsofa und Fenstertüren. Dieser Raum kann auch als Wohnzimmer, Spielzimmer oder für die individuellen Bedürfnisse Ihrer Familie genutzt werden.

This home is a beautiful home with a deep lot with many lovely trees. It is a serene setting with the St.Lawrence river just beyond the yard. The house is very comfortable with everything available. The bunk beds for the kids were a bit too squeaky but we just used an air mattress. The dock is convenient for a boat(we rented) and the cove is perfect for the kids to do some fishing off the dock, kayaking or swimming. This was our second year renting this home and highly recommend it!

Holiday on the river!

We had a wonderful stay on the river! The house was comfortable and open/spacious. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful. We enjoyed the large deck, played games in the yard, and spent lots of time out on the dock.

This house was such a surprise and perfect for our week. The pictures don’t do it justice… the kitchen and living room area is enormous and beautiful! The deck is great and the water / dock is so easy to access. We were so happy with our stay and loved every minute. I would only add an A/C unit in the second bedroom or the main room as it was 85 all week.

They had everything there you needed. Only 15-20 minutes from Alex bay. Very quite and relaxing.

It was a very beautiful house and nice large yard. Very serene place. The only disappointing thing was there wasn't a good place to swim. Only 2 ft of water by the dock with alot of weeds. But other than that it was a great stay. Big yard!

Gorgeous home and spot on the St. Lawrence!

Our family of five loved everything about this property. The house is immaculate and extremely well-appointed. The large front yard (complete with many frogs) was perfect for our three boys, ages 12, 10, and 7. We brought our boat and were able to leave it at the property's dock, so spent tons of time on the water fishing, swimming, and exploring! Also, the owners, Mike and Susie were wonderful hosts - when we needed help with the boat they were able to make the right recommendations and were so helpful and kind. A perfect vacation in every way.

Fantastic Vacation in the Thousand Islands

This house was perfect for our first visit to the area. The house was beautiful and well appointed with everything our family needed. The huge back deck and the beautiful breeze coming off Chippewa Bay were gorgeous. Having our rental boat tied up at the dock made it easy for us to hit the water every day for some amazing fishing for smallmouth bass and northern pike! We even got to cruise up to Alexandria Bay and fish in the shadows of Boldt Castle and the other amazing mansions that dot the islands and riverbanks. The owner was attentive and communicated well, and even took the time to stop by and say hello. Can’t wait to return ASAP!!

We loved staying at this home! Communication with Mike and Sue was great, making check in and our stay easy and perfect. We loved the deep beautiful property and all the trees. The river was low to lack of rain but we were still able to keep the rented pontoon boat at the dock enabling us to either sit and take in the view or hop on and go out on the river. The kids loved fishing off the dock too. The house had everything we needed except a keurig, but we brought one along because we were unsure if there would be one. There is a traditional one, so it would not have been a big deal anyway, just a tad less convenient! It was a perfect vacation home!

The house and location are beautiful and it is situated close to Alexandria Bay and Clayton. Mike the owner was great and responded to any question we had almost immediately. We had a great time. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Not what we expected

The water at the dock wasn’t deep enough for a boat, but the entire bay was not deep enough for a boat. The view from the beautiful deck was nonexistent due to the many trees in the yard. The shipping channel was viewable only with binoculars I don’t understand why so many trees have been planted when they block the view of what everyone wants to see.

Boating Trip to 1000 Islands

This property is just the place to relax, enjoy fine accommodations, soak in nature, come and go easily in the boat. Lots to explore, easy to find your way around, Chippewa Bay community very welcoming and accommodating. This was our third visit to Hammond, NY and we'll be back! Thanks Michael and Sue

I just wish the fireplace was closer to the house.

We all had a fantastic time. Loved the space in the house . Beautiful yard. Spend every morning on there spacious deck having coffee. The pull out couch was not every comfortable for two adults. Hope be back next year.

Great secluded location

Peaceful and relaxing property. The great room and outdoor deck was really nice. Two deer frequented coming into the yard. it was close to family that were also vacationing on the St. Lawrence River. Lots of trees, so the view of the river is a little obstructed.

Excellent Location

The property is beautiful and the location is great. There were plenty of towels and washcloths and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. When the tv wasn't working properly our host addressed the problem but it took a day for him to respond to my voicemail. The problem was the cleanliness of the place. There was mold in the master bath shower. When I took the bags out of the waste baskets in the bathrooms there was dirt and q-tips on the bottom. The pull out coach in the den/ spare room was very uncomfortable. With just a little more care this place could rate five stars plus!

Great Property and Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great! Couldn't ask for better! Enjoyed walks on the back roads, stopping at roadside stands for fresh eggs and veggies, short drive to Alex Bay, boating, fishing, wildlife viewing and seeing the large boats pass by while sitting by the fire pit. We had 2 teen boys and a visit from our nephews 7 and 9 for a few days. Everyone had a blast! Mike was very easy to communicate with and we had the pleasure to meet him. Everything we needed except for a dishwasher. TV didn't work but we didn't care and Mike did everything he could to fix it during our visit but we wouldn't have used it anyway. The shooting stars and making smores was way more entertaining! Would definitely recommend this property. Loved the large kitchen too because that's where our family lives! Great times and memories!

A true getaway

We enjoyed the quiet location of the property to unwind and spread out to enjoy the large yard. The house met all our needs and we found the kitchen well-stocked. This was our second trip to Chippewa Bay and we felt welcomed and the locals we very helpful with boating issues due to low water levels in the St. Lawrence River.
