No Shoes Required is situated  in the heart of Gulf Place, a convenient coastal community in Santa Rosa that features 3 pools (Two Seasonally Heated), hot tubs, tennis courts, shuffle boards, BBQ grilling areas, large outdoor amphitheater, walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, and boutiques.

Discover the ultimate beach getaway at Gulf Place! With three exclusive access points, you have the privilege to choose your perfect spot along half a mile of pristine shoreline, where you can leisurely set up your chairs and soak in the sun-soaked serenity. A few steps away you will find an abundance of shops and dining options at Gulf Place. In addition to great food and drinks, Gulf Place Town Center offers lots of live music and table-side fire pits on cooler nights. The Gulf Place Caribbean building is in the middle of it all! Explore the neighborhood or take a dip in the beautiful community pool complete with a dolphin fountain.

Upon entering No Shoes Required guests are greeted with many features including an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and room to prepare your favorite meal. You will also find a large living area with a large Smart TV, dining area, and access to the screened patio, a great place to unwind after a long day at the beach! There is a half bath and washer / dryer on this level as well, and a propane grill just outside the back door for our guests' convenience. There is also a queen bedroom on this first floor.

The second floor boasts hardwood floors, and includes a spacious king master suite with balcony overlooking the pool. The master also includes a new large Smart TV. The master bath features a large shower with a separate jacuzzi tub. The king guest suite has a large TV along with an ample bathroom with tub/shower combo. The third floor loft features two twin beds, a great place for the kids to hang out!

Great family getaway!

The home was very nice, and it was a perfect spot for our family to enjoy the beach! The pool was right out the back door, and everything you need is in walking distance. The host was super helpful and kind.

The perfect place!

Overall it was great! There was enough room for everyone, the perfect distance to the beach, pool and eating establishments. Our only issues were there are not enough pots/pans to cook for a big family and the housekeeper could have done better.

Family Vaca

Perfect 2 week vaca! Peter couldn’t be nicer and went above & beyond to meet our expectations. The property is just as pictured and a delightful retreat. It has obviously been a busy summer and attention to detail in cleanliness (however not due to the property owners fault) was lacking. However, the property manager immediately responded and was quick to handle the matter. We absolutely love this area and can’t wait to return!

No Shoes is the Best!

This was our 2nd stay at No Shoes with hopefully many more to come! We've stayed in a few other units at Gulf Place and this one is definitely the best! The unit is beautiful and immaculate. The owner, Peter, communicates very well with the renters and is very helpful. The location is perfect for the beach, pool, restaurants, and shops. Can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed Our Stay

This property was as pictured and perfect for our visit. We stayed for a month and found the location in Santa Rosa to be close to the beach, near popular restaurants and highway 30A. The home and beds were very comfortable!!!! Our host Peter was helpful and always responsive.... would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you!!!

Exactly as described

This townhouse was clean and cute! It was exactly like the pictures and description. The owner responded quickly. It was about a 5 minute walk from the beach- mostly shaded and on sidewalks. The pool is literally out the back door. We walked to dinner one night. The restaurant was open air, live music and delicious food. Gulf place is a must! Highly recommend this rental!!

Perfect 30A Stay!

This is the 5th year our family has stayed at Gulf Place, and we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The location of this unit is perfect for everything - beach, shops, restaurants, and especially the pool. Peter was wonderful about communicating, giving helpful tips and suggestions, and checking in with us during our stay. The unit is beautiful, well decorated, updated, and very clean. We hope to stay again next year!

Wonderful home and amazing location!

We had a great experience at No Shoes Required! Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The townhouse had a great layout and was in an amazing (and quiet!) location. The beach was a five minute walk, and there were restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. I’ve been to the Emerald Coast many times and this is by far the best rental and location at which I have stayed. The proximity to all the amenities is unbeatable!

Simply perfect vacation at No Shoes Required

My family and I had an amazing stay. Peter couldn't have been more accommodating and responsive to my questions up to and through our vacation. The home was clean, well-supplied, and was in the perfect location for everyone to enjoy all of the sites. Our family of seven had plenty of space to sprawl out. The ocean is a close walk. The small local shops are an easy walk and fun to visit. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will absolutely stay here again when we visit this happy place.

Clean, well organized home

Peter takes great care of his property and has convenient access to pool and gulf place restaurants and shops. He even called ahead of time to give us helpful hints around the property. Our beds were very comfortable and appliances were working. It was a little cool most mornings so we could not take advantage of the chair and umbrella service however I’m sure it would have been great!!

Perfect family beach outpost

I really appreciated the owner, call the day before to chat about the property. Upon arrival, the owner was super friendly, letting us check in early. We were able to drop our bags and head to the beach!! The pictures to the property no justice... You can’t see how soft the linens are, the personalized local artwork, and fully equipped!! No shoes required has truly thought of everything to make your vacation amazing and memorable!!! I can’t wait to come back!!!
