Your cozy cabin retreat awaits in Port Hope. This delightful 1-bedroom cabin features a comfortable queen bed, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. With a charming living room equipped with two fold out futons ,there's plenty of space for guests to relax and unwind. Nestled in a serene setting, this cabin is the ideal escape for nature lovers. Enjoy all that Port Hope has to offer when you stay at our place. Great location as it is very close to the small towns of Caseville, Port Austin, Grindstone and Huron City. Accross the street is Lighthouse Park with Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse and museum.Nice walk to the lake with boat launch access. LighthousePark also has very nice hiking trails through the woods that are limestone covered . Pets are allowed in the park with a leash.Four person maximum and children of any age. Fire ring provided but not firewood. Neighbor does sell or bring your own. Newer propane grill with gas provided and a small charcoal grill. Newer bedding and towels. All bedding is switched out after each guest. We use mattress and pillow zip up protectors. We strive for cleanliness and happiness

Great location at the top of the thumb. A relaxing atmosphere. It was nice relaxing by the fire pit. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay! Neighborhood is quiet and close to the Lighthouse Park. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Check in and out was easy. Owner was quick to respond.

Cute, quiet cabin near the lake

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is a little funky- it seems to be made from a mid century mobile home and an addition, so it has a step up to get into the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the easy walk to the lake. The host was very good at communicating and you can tell that they care a lot about this property and they want their guests to have a nice time.

Thank you Gina for occupying our cabin last weekend. You were wonderful guests. Me and my daughter Lindsey take our jobs as hosts very seriously and are not happy that you and your husband were not completely happy. We take constructive criticism very seriously to help everyone. Unfortunately the one step into different rooms is irreversible at this point and havnt had any other guests mention this to be a problem We only want total happiness. We’re sorry if we didn’t achieve that. Thanks again Mike

Enjoy the little home - it was great for us and our little fur babies. I would just recommend WiFi service for better connection, as we had trouble with connection. We only had 1 bar with Verizon. I’m ok with no TV, as long as I have Internet connection. Thank you for opening you place for us.

Unit was clean. Excellent location near park on Lake Huron. Did not notice all the step-ups in the cabin in the listing. We are older. Could only get in/out of bed from one side meaning 2nd person had to climb over person to get up to use the potty during the night. Two steps down from bedroom, then 2 steps up into bathroom. At night, half-asleep and groggy going to bathroom (which is common for older people) and navigating the 2 set of steps was daunting. The photos in the listing did show the steps, but I didn't realize how challenging layout would be in person.
