Cozy up by the fireplace, fire up the grill, and enjoy the home’s proximity to the Schweitzer Shuttle just 3 minutes away, plus only a 15-minute drive to Schweitzer and 13 minutes to downtown Sandpoint—perfect for families and groups.

The home is located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain on Granite View Drive, a gravel road that winds through a mountainous landscape, offering stunning views of Lake Pend Oreille and the Cabinet Mountains.
Please note that the home is accessible via a 0.4-mile drive on Granite Ridge Road, which can become icy during the winter months, so we recommend using AWD or 4WD vehicles during this time.
Guests have full access to the entire home, including the main level, lower level, and the private downstairs suite. You’ll also have access to the wraparound upper deck, the lower deck with a hot tub, outdoor dining area, and Blackstone grill.
The garage is not available for guest use, but the driveway has ample space for multiple vehicles and boat trailers. Entry is contactless via smart lock, and you’ll receive your personalized code prior to check-in.
Step inside and take in expansive eastern-facing views of the Cabinet Mountains and Lake Pend Oreille, where spectacular sunrises set the tone for a peaceful North Idaho escape. The vaulted ceilings and open layout in the main living area create an airy, welcoming feel, with natural light pouring through the large windows.
To the left, you'll find the spacious kitchen—fully equipped with everything you need to cook and gather comfortably. There’s ample counter space, modern appliances, barstools for casual dining, and a convenient laundry room tucked just off the kitchen. The adjacent dining area also enjoys those same beautiful views and flows seamlessly into the main living space.
Just off the main living area is a half bath for guest use. The master suite is also located on this level, offering a king bed, access to the east-facing deck, and a spa-style en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and a large walk-in closet.
The upper deck spans the full east side of the home and is accessed directly from both the living room and the master suite. It’s furnished with an outdoor dining table, outdoor seating, and a propane BBQ—perfect for enjoying meals or relaxing while taking in the views.
Downstairs, a second living area provides even more room to unwind with a large sectional sofa, TV, pull-out bed, and a teepee for the kids. A king bedroom on this level includes an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo and direct access to the lower deck and hot tub. A second full bathroom with a walk-in shower is also located on this floor.
The private downstairs suite offers flexibility for families or couples traveling together. It includes a king bed, full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, a kitchenette, dining table, and a cozy living area with a pull-out sofa. The suite has a private exterior entrance but can also be accessed internally through the downstairs living area. It opens directly onto the lower deck, which features an outdoor dining table, hot tub, and a Blackstone grill—ideal for group gatherings with a view.
Bringing a boat on your vacation? No problem—this property offers plenty of parking for vehicles and boat trailers in the driveway and in front of the garage. Please note: the garage is not available for guest use.

Getting Around – A car is recommended for your stay. The home is only a 15-minute drive to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, making it an ideal base for skiing and mountain activities. Downtown Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille are just 13 minutes away, offering dining, shopping, and lake adventures. For hassle-free trips to Schweitzer, guests can also use the Schweitzer Shuttle from the Red Barn Park & Ride located 3 mins from the house. In warmer months, biking around Sandpoint is easy, though the return up Granite Ridge is steep.
