You can walk across the street to a large family-friendly park or take a 10 minute stroll where you’ll find plenty of dining options. Maybe you want to hang up your car keys for the week and just nestle in? Great, fire up the 7 person hot tub and slip into vacation mode.

Lykke House is your destination for year-round enjoyment. Whether searching for fresh powder or heading to Idaho’s largest lake, we have you covered.

Schweitzer Mountain, one of the nation’s top winter destinations, is an easy 25-minute drive away. Or, if you want to live that Après-ski life, there’s shuttle access five minutes from Lykke’s front door that will take you straight to the mountain.

Are you all about those lake vibes? Head into the historic, quaint town of Sandpoint, Idaho. The downtown scene has it all: delicious food, boozy brunches, cocktails (even a few dive bars), shops, and beach access that will take you straight into the magic of Lake Pend Oreille.

Rent a kayak or boat, enjoy outstanding angling opportunities, or just hang out on the beach and soak up the sun. There’s no wrong way to enjoy this 125-square-mile lake.

And to top off your trip, head to the Northwest’s famous theme and waterpark: Silverwood! 70 rides, seven roller-coasters, water slides, and a lazy river complete with a swim-up bar.


The Space:

The Lykke House is a newly constructed home, wholly designed with our guests’ comfort in mind. We want this space to help create memories that last a lifetime. And, if something didn’t hit the mark, let us know.

Lykke’s expansive layout can host the whole family (or all the friends for that much-needed getaway!) With 3 Helix mattress King bedrooms and one bedroom equipped with a twin trundle bed and desk, there’s no reason to leave anyone behind.

Radiant floor heating and a gas fireplace ensure a warm and cozy winter stay, and the main area AC will keep things cool all summer. Plus, don’t worry about waking up on the wrong side of the bed: our fully stocked Keurig bar has you covered.

After a long day on the slopes, you can wind down in the oversized hot tub or keep the party going with our collection of games.
