The biggest challenge was finding the property, at night, in the dark. The homes went from 5429 to 5433. It took about 10 minutes of walking around to find a note taped to a gate, telling guests to enter through the back alley.This information would have been helpful to have prior to arriving at the home. I looked back through and could not find those instructions anywhere.Prior to arriving at the vacation home, all the emails from the management company felt cold and unwelcoming. We like to support families and small businesses. This felt very corporate and didn't leave a good first impression.Although understandably, there are a lot of rules, and some conflicting, which also lend to not feeling very welcome. An example is that "quiet hours" were listed in one place as 9:00pm, and in another at 10:00pm. When the downstairs tenant was still being loud with their guests at 10:30pm on Saturday night, it causes one to wonder.

The listing is not accurate. We were not allowed to use the rooftop area as described. That was what enticed us because of the views that were promised. They locked the door inside the home so we couldn’t go up there. When we inquired we were told that we would have had to rent the third bedroom in order to go up to the rooftop patio. We didn’t even know there was a third bedroom. The listing made no mention of a third bedroom but did list the rooftop with amazing views. The entertainment (tv/music) system runs off of an iPad. The instructions were pitiful and we couldn’t watch tv in the bedrooms because you had to have access to the iPad which was in the living room. Then we had to figure out where to find a cord to charge the iPad. The learning curve on the entertainment system is difficult. We had one person who figured out how to turn on the one tv and another who could turn the darn thing off. It was a problem. It’s nice that there is a washer and dryer but there was no starter soap pack as in other rentals. We never mastered the HVAC system. All rooms were cold except the little bedroom. Lastly, and simply a comfort issue, the living room is not comfortable. The saggy couch doesn’t face the TV so it’s not ideal for two couples wanting to watch a show or the news. Based on the lack of concern for our repeated attempts for assistance, I’m guessing this is a temporary rental.

We surely wish we had had the opportunity to help with the TV, HVAC, and washer while you were here. We appreciate the feedback and will see if there's a way to revise the instructions in the welcome book to make it more clear. The washer comes pre-loaded with soap which is a bit unique and can confuse. The home can be rented as a two bedroom or three bedroom with rooftop deck. We apologize for the confusion - the rooftop deck is not mentioned in our 2BD listing - not sure where you saw that description.
