Ihr privater Waldrückzug erwartet Sie. Eingebettet auf einer wunderschönen 10 Hektar großen Wiese mit 25 Hektar Wald, die Sie genießen können; Diese rustikale Hütte ist ein perfektes romantisches Refugium. Zwei Forellenteiche sind nur wenige Schritte von Ihrer Tür entfernt, um zu angeln und zu schwimmen. Nur wenige Minuten vom Berg entfernt. Ascutneys Wander- und Mountainbikewege und inmitten eines fantastischen Radlandes.

Sunset Cabin ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um Herbstlaub zu genießen und Vermonts malerische Städte und überdachte Brücken zu erkunden.

Dies ist ein magischer Ort. Die Kabine ist komfortabel, rustikal und privat, mit brandneuen Möbeln, Bettwäsche und Bettwäsche. Das Besondere daran ist jedoch die äußerst romantische Umgebung mit Blick auf Wiesen, Teiche, Gärten, Berge und Wälder.

Always an excellent stay!!!

This was our 4th stay at this property but not our last!! The cabin is always clean, quiet and well stocked with firewood. Just a fantastic place to relax and reconnect.

Perfect Cabin to Relax & Reset

I stayed here with my pup for a couple of nights. This visit capped off a busy couple of weeks for us—and it was the perfect place to unwind before getting back to real life! The property is beautiful, secluded (but not too secluded), and the cabin is stocked with anything you’d need, and was very clean. I would love to visit again!

Ideal Vermont setting!

My partner and I spent a week at the cabin with our two dogs. The property was gorgeous and the cabin, though rustic, had everything we needed. We really enjoy places where we can unplug and enjoy nature and this place checked all the boxes! We really loved our time here.

Picturesque and charming

This was a lovely spot in a great location—I think it was under 1.5 miles to the mountain biking trailheads on Ascutney; very easy to bike there and back. Beautiful property.

Amazing place to stay

The cabin was really adorable and well stocked with practically everything you need to have a great little get away. Snacks, wifi, kitchen ware, etc just brought food, fames, and toiletries. Was really close to the kayaking, hike on Mt. Ascutney, and stone leaf dispensary. Was great to have a little fire in the provided fire pit and the trout ponds were adorable you can feed the trout and see lots of frogs/toads

Off grid getaway

Was thrilled about the cabin and it's rustic characteristics. A wonderful way to unplug and relax. Amenities were as described, the trails on the property were a great way to start the day, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the window above it was soothing at night. Happy Holiday

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 dogs at Sunset Cabin. The cabin has privacy and is close to two lovely ponds. We enjoyed the walking trails on the property. There are 2 Adirondack chairs near the cabin, we were able to sit and relax with our dogs and enjoy a drink. Cabin is cozy and includes snacks and some basic items. The bed is very comfortable. We were able to communicate with the hosts and they are easy to work with. The view from the cabin is lovely. We will be back.

Sunset cabin is a cute little place packed with amenities and located on the beautiful grounds of a private home. While not per say excluded it sure felt that way being surrounded by woods on three sides. Our stay was only two nights but we managed to cook a proper meal for one of those in the well appointed kitchen. There’s a great little butcher/market/cafe nearby where you can find everything you need. Sondra and Daniel’s description and photos of the place are spot on but seeing and experiencing this little bit of paradise is the way to go. And our dog loved it so much he didn’t want to leave.

The property is located on a beautiful piece of land at the edge of the woods. The cabin is secluded and quaint, peaceful and welcoming. Walk out the door to a hammock to read, or stack the firewood at the pit fire, either way, you will feel the weight of the world slip off your shoulders as your body and mind say thank you for finding this place. The trails on the property ask you walk them and there are so many choices to try. A very healing place. And the cabin is beautiful and simplistic, providing snacks and modern amenities that make your stay even better.

Nice property, well manicured, safe trails& very quiet.

We were extremely happy at the amenities offered for the daily expenditures. We lost wifi the second day, but just unplugged the modem and reset to go back on line. This should have been expressed in the cabin manual. We both expressed the need to screen the porch to eliminate mosquitoes & really enjoy the comforts of sitting outside in the evening hours. We would definitely stay again!!!!!

Excellent Getaway

This place is exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The host is excellent at communicating. The response time is very quick also. We came to kayak in NH, Lake Sunapee and VT, Echo Lake. We recommend both places, NH we could of spent all day there with the activities. We visited several Distilleries and Breweries, such a huge selection of places to go! The grounds at the cabin and amazing, we suggest that you spend one full day there and just roam the place! The cabin has everything you need, the fire pit is right by the hammock and bench, excellent lay out. You will not be disappointed at all with this property!

So many special touches I wasn't expecting. Advertised as a rustic cabin, but is so well appointed it was better than a five star hotel. Beautiful property and surrounding area with some pleasant attractions close by. Dining out was a bit pricey, so I would try getting lunch groceries and eating back at the cabin. I can't stress enough how many thoughtful items are included with this rental! You could literally bring nothing but clothing and food. The owners even left snacks and coffee! The bed was so comfy, I had no trouble sleeping. For my wife and I, this was the "glamping" we've been searching for.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet but scenic getaway for a baby moon and the sunset cabin did NOT disappoint! Not only was it the perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs (bonus on it being pet-friendly) but the property itself was absolutely stunning! From having our morning coffee on the porch to exploring the many acres of trails Sondra and Daniel own, to feeding the fish in the ponds. We were never bored. My husband and I, along with the dogs, were very sad to leave this beautiful property. Sondra and Daniel were excellent with the communication before/throughout the trip. We took them up on some of their suggestions for local restaurants and such as the Windsor Station for dinner and the local butchery for us to grill at the cabin. 10 out of 10 recommended!

The cabin is absolutely adorable, the property grounds are beautiful! It was nice and clean, the size is perfect for a romantic getaway, and we enjoyed exploring the trails and feeding the fish in the ponds. Our dogs loved it as well, We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back!

This is not a private location. It is near woods. But you are within a few hundred feed from other renters and dogs. The listing pictures and description makes it seem that you are well away from anyone. This is not accurate. We had a good time but you cannot have off leash dogs at any time and with a small cabin I was really looking forward to outside off leash time for my demo dog who needs a vacation too.
