We loved our stay at Huron Breeze Cottage! Terry, the host, was fantastic! He was super responsive to questions and helped us with restaurant recommendations. The cottage is quaint and was perfect for our group. We loved that it was right in the heart of Mackinaw City and walkable to everywhere! A bonus was that the bathroom has been updated from the listing pictures and now has a bright vanity, lots of storage, and a beautiful walk in shower! We would definitely stay here again!

Adorable house in very convenient location. We were able to bike to the bridge and bike or walk to the ferry and town. It’s on a busier street but that really didn’t bother us as things quieted down at night.

Had a wonderful stay at Huron Breeze Cottage. Self check in was so easy. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. Very clean and comfy beds. Didn’t really do any cooking, so can’t speak to the kitchen equipment. We had everything we needed.Bathroom well stocked, shower and water pressure very good. Super convenient location. Met Terry, the owner, and got some 3.00 discount tickets for the ferry over to Mackinac Island.Would definitely recommend staying there!

Great for a Girls' Weekend

Stayed at this property with my mom for a nice girls weekend away. The location was great and very convenient to get to Mackinac Island and Sault St. Marie. We're already planning a return trip for next summer and will definitely stay here again!

Huron Breeze was a cute little cottage! Great location, clean, a mix of old character and new updates. Terry was quick to respond when we reached out. Unfortunately, the cottage did not have laundry like is listed; there is a laundromat in town. Otherwise, a great little place!

Great Mackinaw City in town VRBO

2nd time staying here and just as pleasant as before. It is all about the location and having no shared walls like you would from hotel. The set up is very much like being your own home away from home. Highly recommend if visiting the area.

We Love this house, we have stayed here a few times before, it is warm and welcoming. I have been coming to Mackinaw City since I was twelve years old, and the Mighty Mac had just opened, I’am seventy six years old, and I still get thrilled when I cross it.

Great place x2

We rented both Somwhere in Time and Huron Breeze for our 8 person group and this was great. The two cottages are right next to each other and it was easy to visit. The place had everything we like in a VRBO, extra towels, laundry baskets, clean, great location. Only complaint is amenities said laundry, but the closest laundromat was 1.1 miles away. For it to be an amenity, needs to be on premises, next door, or perhaps free at another location. Would rent again, but would have to plan appropriately.

The house was very convenient. The key code didn’t work at first to access the house but a quick call to Terry and the problem was resolved. We enjoyed the location being close to attractions & the ferry. The house was very clean & comfortable. I would stay here again.

Little slice of Heaven.

This was an incredible property to stay with the family. We were able to wake up every morning have coffee, walk or bike for a coffee sit on the patio or in the chairs and enjoy everything. My son who is almost 3 enjoyed it too and having the yard fenced in gave us peace of mind he wouldn’t get too far either. This place definitely gave me and my family peace of mind it was very cozy and made us each not want to leave.

We loved staying at this cottage. It was clean, had everything we needed and was in walking distance of shopping and dining and even the ferry was a short 5 minute walk. The host was great at responding to us quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

The home was as stated, clean and cozy with a perfect location. Parking is easy and free, 3 days and used our car once. Close to everything, food, shopping, coffee, Wineries, Breweries, candy and Fudge!! Also for kids entertainment ( Arcade,Putt Putt Golf and Build a Bear and much more) Across the street the Ferry to the Island. We used Arnold’s Ferry, closer and way less wait and people! Saturday night there were fireworks right outside the front door. Sit on your property and enjoy! They had everything you would need in the kitchen. They provided shampoo but bring conditioner and body wash!The beds both had very firm mattresses which I am fine with, my husband had a little issue with falling asleep. Over all an excellent home with a great location!

Fall break

Perfect location! Walking distance to all attractions ,shops and restaurants in Mackinaw city along with walking distance to both ferry’s to Mackinac island. Super clean and safe. Would stay again if we were to revisit. Great family trip.
