Ein helles und fröhliches Cottage mit einem Schlafzimmer, eines von 3 auf diesem Anwesen, das 2012 komplett renoviert wurde. Es ist zu Fuß in die Stadt. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der großen, abgeschirmten Veranda mit Tisch und Stühlen zum Essen und einem Korbliebessitz und einem Stuhl zum Entspannen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um sich nach einem anstrengenden Sightseeing-Tag zu entspannen oder morgens eine Tasse Kaffee zu trinken. In der Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie zum Kochen benötigen. Und das Badezimmer hat eine Dusche / Wanne-Kombination. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett, während der Wohnbereich ein großes Schlafsofa hat. TV / Kabel und Internet sind inklusive, mit Spielen und Büchern auch für Ihr Vergnügen. Es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang in die Stadt und zu den Geraden. Eine kurze Fahrt bringt Sie zum Headlands Dark Sky Park, zu den Sandstränden und zum UP.

Great location in a quiet neigborhood that is within walking distance of almost everything in Mackinaw City. We used our stay here to see all the wonderful fall colors northern Michigan has to offer. Location made it easy to reach the UP as well as both coasts in northern Michigan for out and back day trips. Host was easy to reach and the entire stay went very smoothly. Clean, cozy, and comfortable!

Great stay at this property. Hosts are super nice and good communicators. Nice quiet neighborhood. Good places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommend Darrow's Family Restaurant. Never had a bad meal and the pies are outstanding!

We spent 3 nights in this sweet cottage. We loved the screened in porch. The furniture and beds are comfortable. I liked that it was a little away from the main part of Mackinaw City, but close enough we could walk to most places.We would love to stay there again if we’re ever in the area. Highly recommended.

Cozy cottage with plenty of amenities! Close to downtown Mackinaw City as well as within walking distance to some restaurants and activities. Cottage was perfect for couples or family with young children. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cottage was comfortable and clean, and the porch was the highlight. The owner gave a lot of attention to detail in decor and in stocking the kitchen with good tools for preparing meals. The location was excellent--quiet but walking distance to stores and restaurants. One teeny complaint: the grates on the grill are badly rusted. We would love to come back sometime!

Thoroughly enjoyed this little gem. It was centrally located to so many activities. The weather was terrific and loved the porch for evening games. Thanks to Todd for coming out to rescue two sisters who aren’t very savvy with the door lock system.

Comfy Cozy Cottage for One

I stayed in the Macatawa City Cottage for 3 nights and felt like I was home. The decor is understated and tasteful; the bed is comfortable; the shower had plenty of hot water, and I enjoyed most of my meals IN because the kitchen has everything one needs. It was also a walkable distance to the ferry that goes to the island, which I enjoyed exploring for the first time. I would recommend this cottage for a couple or single guest.

Charming Cottage Stay in Mackinaw City!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cute and quaint cottage. It was just perfect for two adults and a child. The cottage had everything we needed and felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to downtown Mackinaw City, which made exploring shops, restaurants, and the waterfront super convenient. It also served as the perfect base camp for day trips in every direction, whether we were heading to the island ferry, hitting local attractions, or just out for a scenic drive. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great location with easy self check-in. The house is cute and well maintained. The pullout couch did have mouse poop on it though. I'm guessing it doesn't get used much. It was still gross and luckily we had a blow up mattress for our child.Otherwise the place was nice & clean and had everything we needed.

We bought this property as a "fixer upper" opportunity. We enjoy renovating projects together and love Mackinaw (vacationed here every summer with our kids) so this was the perfect place for us. The 3 cottages give us a vacation home that will fit all of us as our children get married and have their own families.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We also love this place for its history as part of the Lazy T resort decades ago. So to restore these cottages and rent them again for families to enjoy is an added benefit. Plus Mack City is a great starting point for other travels to the U.P. and other northern Michigan tourist towns.
