The property was beautiful, it’s great for a family getaway or getaway with friends. The property is close to Torch Lake and the host was responsive and helped us fix a that we caused issue with a great response time. I would stay here again!

This property was better than advertised. The home was well-maintained and had a lot of amenities. The location was private and peaceful. Our hosts had, by far, the best communication of any VRBO we have stayed at. 6 out of 5 stars!

The house was perfect for our group of 10 — 4 kids, 6 adults. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out — the kids loved the lower level and the loft, and we spent a lot of time outside on the deck. The house is located in a quiet wooded area. We would definitely stay here again — Jenna was a super attentive host and ready to help.

Our experience was great. We booked the house to use for a pastoral staff retreat. The house was great as a meeting place as well as being conveniently located close to area activities. Jenna was always prompt and clear with communication. I would definitely book here again without reservation.

We had a great experience here! The A-frame is beautiful and it's clear that a lot of careful attention went into making this a comfortable and relaxing stay for guests. The communication and hospitality was top notch and our kids enjoyed being able to swim at the hotel pool.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful A-frame retreat! The home was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The location is amazing- so close to the lifts, which made ski days effortless. My favorite part was starting each morning in the comfy leather chair in the loft, sipping coffee while looking out the stunning A-frame windows at the snow-covered trees. It felt peaceful and completely serene- a true retreat away from it all. We can't wait to come back!

Stayed for my daughter's wedding

We came up for my daughter's wedding, have been coming to Schuss Mtn/Shanty Creek for 45 years. This house was very nice, super clean, and Jenna was great to work with. Would recommend it if you're looking in the area, and would recommend and the area if you're just looking for a relaxing vacation spot yet near plenty of things to do if you want.

Charming and cozy

Our cozy cabin in the woods was charming and welcoming. Many amenities were included in our stay. The kitchen and bathroom. There were plenty ,blankets, games, pillows, towels, and accessories to help enhance our stay. Jenna. Was very responsive, hospitable, and helpful. Loved the decor. As well! Will definitely be back!
