The final approach is a paved but narrower mountain road — sedans handle it fine in normal conditions. If snow or ice is forecast during your stay, please allow extra time and drive carefully.

We stock the cabin with a starter supply of essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap to get you settled in comfortably. For longer stays or larger groups, you may want to grab a few extra supplies during your visit — we recommend Food Lion, just a short drive away.

Your comfort matters to us, so we maintain a comprehensive monthly pest control program for the cabin. That said, we're nestled in the woods, so you may occasionally spot a bug that wandered in through an open door or window — it's just part of the charm of cabin life! If anything more than the occasional visitor comes up, please let us know.

The fridge's built-in ice maker and water dispenser aren't connected, so we're unable to offer those during your stay — but we're happy to leave a starter supply of ice for you! Just let us know ahead of time if you'd like some sent to you upon your arrival.

The maximum number of guests for the listing is 10 total people, which includes all persons of all ages in order to comply with local laws and restrictions.

We keep the hot tub sparkling for every guest — please skip glitter, confetti, and loose small items in the house, hot tub, or outdoor area. A cleaning fee applies if any of these turn up during our post-stay inspection.

Please note, we can accommodate early check-ins if the property is ready in time, but we cannot guarantee an early check-in. Checkout is 10:00 AM so our cleaning crew can prepare the home for the next guests. Need a little more time? Message us — if we can accommodate a late check-out, we will, but we cannot guarantee it.
