Incredible family retreat just a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk on a nice trail to the public beach. Enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe and Kings Beach, where you can swim, rent paddle boards, kayaks, and even jet skis right from the beach in the summer. In the winter, you are just 5 minutes from NorthStar ski resort and 25 minutes from Palisades.
There’s a little something for everyone in the family, including a seasonal community swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, a basketball court, and a bocce ball court (right on the property). The pool area also includes a small gym and men`s and women`s dry saunas to unwind after a long day at play.
From the covered deck, you can soak in the views or get lost in a good book while the kids have their own zone (and optional sleeping area) in the upstairs loft. The loft couch can be arranged into a bed that sleeps two. The Brockway Golf Course is only a 3-minute drive from the front door. Shopping, restaurants, and miniature golf are conveniently located in Kings Beach, and Historic Truckee is a lovely 15-minute drive you won`t want to miss.
Tahoe-style wood-beamed ceilings, a cozy fireplace, and a relaxed open layout with ample seating create the perfect mix of mountain comfort and convenience for up to 8 guests! There are 2 full bathrooms, and each of the 3 bedrooms features warm natural lighting, comfortable beds, and privacy. High-speed internet and a small desk nook for those who may need to work remotely. This inviting retreat offers the best of Lake Tahoe for all!

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE *** By proceeding with the reservation and entering the property, Guest(s) and all other persons material to the reservation acknowledge and accept the following Rules & Policies, without exception.
01. Check-In / Check-Out Policy Whenever possible, we will be happy to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, within reason. In June, July, August, and during Holidays, this may not always be possible, but please do ask. Unauthorized late check-outs will result in a Schedule Interruption Fee of $150 per hour. The cleaning services cleaning team may not enter the property following check-out, with or without your permission, until all guests and all belongings have vacated the property.
02. Maximum Occupancy The total number of Guests MAY NOT EXCEED 6 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN, FOR A MAXIMUM TOTAL OF 8 PERSONS OF ANY AGE AT ANY TIME. Occupancy limitations are governed by City and County ordinances, as well as Fire Department regulations. Violations of this policy place the Property Owner’s Short Term Rental Permit at risk. Should the maximum occupancy exceed the limitations at any time during your stay, an immediate $1,500 per additional person County Ordinance Penalty Fee will be assessed, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.
03. Pet Policy THIS PROPERTY IS EXEMPT FROM PERMITTING ANY ANIMAL OTHER ONE (1) DOG ONLY. Cats, birds, etc., irrespective of their class as a service or support animal are prohibited due to property owner’s allergies. The appropriate exemption documentation is on file with the applicable booking platform.
****** Your dog must be crated if left in the house alone for more than 10 minutes. Guests are responsible for providing the dog crate for this purpose. ****** Barking, howling, crying, and/or other prolonged noise is prohibited at all times and specifically while the dog is left in the house alone.
This neighborhood and the Tahoe Community in general are VERY sensitive to pet owners who do not pick up their pets’ waste or “leave the baggie to be picked up on the way back”. It is against the ordinances of Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, and Washoe County to leave pet waste anywhere (even in the forest). Due to the sanitary nature of our cleaning service’s responsibilities, an additional $125 pet waste removal fee will be charged if a pet waste complaint is received regarding your stay or if pet waste is found anywhere on the property.
04. Maximum Parking This home allows parking for a maximum of two (2) vehicles at any time. Street parking is not available in this neighborhood, and additionally may not be permitted by local laws. Guest(s) accept full responsibility for vehicle damage, theft, fines, or loss while on or off the property.
05. No Smoking Smoking (including vaping) is not allowed anywhere on the property—inside or out. Should a violation of this policy occur, an immediate $500 remediation fee will be assessed, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.
06. Quiet Hours Quiet hours are between 9 PM and 8 AM. Quiet is defined as the absence of voices, music, and other noises anywhere outside of the residence. The County Ordinance Enforcement Officers and the neighboring community are extremely sensitive to the strict enforcement of this policy. Response to a noise violation report may result in a $1,500 County Ordinance Violation Fee. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.
07. Trash & Recycling This is bear country. We love and respect them, and everyone must accept responsibility for keeping them alive and the property damage-free. The Lake Tahoe Community is highly sensitive about the responsible disposal of trash and any type of wildlife attractant(s). Local residents routinely report violators to the local Sheriff’s Department, without warning. Bears that enter a residence or vehicle are subject to euthanasia by the Department of Fish & Game. Please know that it is against State Law to leave any type of trash or wildlife attractant unattended. Therefore, all trash and recycling must always be securely placed inside the locked metal dumpster. Overflow garbage and recycling must be taken off-site by the Guests and never left in a vehicle, near a door or window, or any other unsecured outdoor location. Guests assume financial responsibility for all violations of the law. Local and State fines for improper storage and/or disposal range between $1,500 and $5,000 per occurrence. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, you will forfeit all fees paid, and the Property Owners will be entitled to reimbursement by the Guests for loss of revenue due to revocation of their Short Term Rental Permit.
08. Housekeeping and Check Out Practices Your cleaning fees cover a standard level of service, including floors and surfaces, linen changes, and laundry processing. Unlike a hotel, this is a personal residence, and as such, the cleaning fee does not accommodate excessive or unanticipated services not typically required for a residential stay. Thank you for caring for this property as if it were your own.
After you check out of the property, there may be a period of time before the cleaning service arrives. Our bears are very motivated by homes with accessible food and trash smells (even when the doors and windows are closed), so we kindly ask that Guests please: (1) Return all indoor and outdoor furniture to their original locations/positions. (2) Leave used beds unmade (no bedding on the floor, please). (3) Collect all dirty towels and place them near the washing machine - we always love it when guests start the first load when they leave, but it is not required. (4) Load the dishwasher with any remaining dirty dishes and start the wash cycle. (5) Secure all remaining trash in the bear box at the end of the driveway, ensuring the door(s) is/are firmly closed and locked. (6) Close and lock all windows and exterior doors; close all blinds and curtains.
We don’t want to put any undue pressure on Guests to do our job. We hope you understand because when a bear breaks into a home, they are not eligible for a “second chance” or relocation option (not to mention the damage to the property).
09. No Guarantee of Services Our WiFi and electricity are reliable. Although rare, unpredictable conditions may cause occasional outages (this is the Sierra Mountains). Likewise, indoor and outdoor amenities that are listed in this posting and depicted in the photos are subject to seasonal, operational, and/or functional availability. Interruptions or lack of availability of any of these services and/or amenities do not alter the terms of the Rental Agreement.
10. Security Cameras As a function of our bear and snow awareness practices, your safety, and the security of the property, exterior-only motion-activated security cameras may monitor the front door, driveway, side yards, and other common areas. Tampering with or disabling cameras is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your reservation and forfeiture of all fees paid.
11. Property & Property Use This property is for residential vacation use only. Events, commercial activities, subletting, or transferring your reservation to another party are not permitted. In the unlikely event of eviction or other actions required to enforce the Rental Agreement Rules & Policies, an hourly administrative fee of $35 per hour will be charged to the Guests.
12. Reservations For weekend stays, all Friday night reservations must include the following Saturday night. Reservations that exceed twenty-nine (29) days cannot be approved prior to (1) submission of a State Applicable Residential Lease Application, to include but not be limited to written proof of income and performance of a credit check to confirm a credit score of 720 or higher, and (2) execution of a State Applicable Residential Lease Agreement. Payment for the cost(s) of completing any of these requirements shall be made by the applicant(s), upon demand.

Great family stay
The property is well located, minutes away from hiking trails and King's Beach. The house itself is full of entertainment with toys, jigsaw puzzles, and outdoor games. The swimming pool is a inches away from the accommodation, and the house is beautiful and fully equipped.

Ty Stacey . It was a pleasure to stay at your vacation home . There was plenty of space for the six of us . We enjoyed cooking home meals while away and the electric bbq was amazing. First time I have used an electric grill and I plan on purchasing one at my house . Cooked the chicken and steak wonderfully and very simple to clean up . My wife and kids enjoyed the pac man arcade game upstairs and we literally spent hours trying to beat each other’s high scores . The location is perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of the south shore . We definitely plan on coming back . Kitchen was stocked well and the home was very clean . Anyone looking for a great affordable place in North Lake Tahoe , I suggest you check this one out . We had an amazing time , too bad it was only for a few days but it’s nice to know when we come back again that we will look to see if this house is available. Ty again for your hospitality and easy communication too .

When we arrived, the Battery to front door lock was dead. We had to hones contact property manager. Thankfully she answered quickly and wasn’t far away. With large cleaning fee, we felt asking us to do dishes, empty trash, collect all towels and put in washer should’ve been included in the fee. Also, only providing minimum amount of paper towels and toilet paper was a little ‘surprising’. Overall, it was a nice place and beautiful view and surroundings. Plenty of space and comfortable rooms.

The unit was fantastic and lived up to its name with the - perfect space for our family with 3 teenage boys. It's well appointed, exquisitely rustic, and extremely neat and clean.The kitchen has more than adequate supplies, and there are games, including a video game unit, to keep kids of all ages occupied during indoor time. The complex has good amenities, which are a very short walk from the unit -- tennis/pickleball courts (bring your own tennis rackets/balls), a decent size pool, and a small, but functional cardio gym. The complex location is centrally situated and a 5-7 minute drive from Kings Beach itself and plenty of good restaurants/eateries and stores. Last, and certainly not least, Stacey, the rental agent is easily accessible and very responsive. She patiently answered my incessant questions before we booked and was in touch and available throughout our stay. I highly recommend this unit and hope to be back for another stay soon!Stacey, the property manager, was easily accessible and wonderful to work with, from the booking process until we checked out.
