I booked this place for a bachelor party my husband planned. Justin was extremely helpful anytime I sent him a message with questions and he was always friendly! My husband said the check in process was extremely easy and they had no issues the whole weekend with it. I will say there were a couple of things that were more annoying than unacceptable. One was there was no a/except fpr a window unit in the master bedroom, but to be fair ac in la isnt a guaranteed thing in a home, so it was inconvenient because of the heat. 2nd being if you stay here, bring bug spray! The skeeters were no joke being by the canals but again, not a huge issue. Overall the guys had an amazing stay and it was aperfect spot!

We absolutely loved the place. The location couldn’t be better. It was an easy, beautiful walking distance to the beach and so many delicious restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house itself is spacious and cozy. A great place to enjoy dinner and family game nights. Will absolutely book again:

Stayed here for a family gathering, and was able to spend lots of time together, rather than separate hotel rooms. The house is a funky old build, but needs an update. Location is amazing, allowing relaxing walks through the canals and to the beach.

Our family had a great stay at the Venice Canal property. Check in was easy, the property was clean and well appointed and the location on the canal and near the beach was perfect. Justin was very responsive and resolved a couple of minor issues quickly and easily. The house is very spacious and quiet.

The location and house was great. We felt that we should have been made aware that trick and treating is a big thing in the area, as we had no candy. Otherwise, our experience was great!!

- House is vandalized with termite in the kitchen, mold in bathroom, and ceiling leaking water.- House equipments are VERY old, flooring is all damaged, and there are animal furs on couches.- When we arrived after the checkin time, the janitors were still inside.- Garage ceiling is to low for car trunk to open- Heater works very well.- Pleasant walk to Venice Beach (nice but unsafe area)- Outdoor seating area was nice

We appreciated the great location of this property - access the property and communication were excellent. We found the beds, comforters, linens, and towels to be in excellent condition — very comfortable and well-maintained. The layout of the house is a bit funky – for example the primary bedroom has a wall of sky lights with no covering, so the natural light pours in at sunrise. Unfortunately, we had rainy weather during our stay, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the patio, though it does have nice furniture and a lot of potential with a little updating. There’s also roof access with bar chairs to enjoy the canal views.Overall, the home could benefit from some refreshing and attention to detail. The living room furniture shows noticeable wear and staining, and the area rug does not lie flat. The kitchen appears to be stocked with most essentials, but organization could be improved, as it was difficult to find items. There is a coffee maker available, but no coffee pot to go with it.Additionally, the property would benefit from deeper cleaning. The windows appear not to have been washed in quite some time, and there were visible dust accumulations (for example, on top of the refrigerator). The garage floor needs to be swept as there’s dirt standing in there. With better organization, a thorough cleaning, and some thoughtful updates, this home could truly be a wonderful rental in a fantastic location.
