Things to Know Before You Go:
This recently renovated oceanfront condo is located in a classic 1971 building full of vintage island charm. It is not a resort, but a cozy and comfortable space designed for travelers who want an authentic Hawaiian experience. The interior offers 475 square feet of living space and a spacious 158 square foot lanai—think of it as a very large hotel room with a full kitchen and private outdoor living area.
The building is undergoing gradual improvements, and while it is usually very quiet, there is an infrequent possibility of occasional light construction activity during the day, limited to normal working hours. The unit is also located above the pool, and while the pool is not used too frequently, some pool activity may be heard. While new lanai doors help reduce exterior noise, you may still hear the soothing ocean waves as well as some nearby road noise. Hawaii’s beloved (and noisy) feral chickens are part of the charm—roosters may crow early in the morning and throughout the day.
The building houses a diverse, welcoming community of full-time residents, long-term renters, and vacationers representing all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Hawaii’s open-air design philosophy means hallways are open to the outdoors, which encourages airflow and natural cooling. You’ll enjoy refreshing trade winds when the lanai and front door are open—please remember to close all doors when using the air conditioner.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig
What makes this property truly unique is its unmatched combination of natural beauty, thoughtful design, and warm community. Located in an oceanfront building nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the lush Koʻolau Mountains, this condo sits on the windward side of Oʻahu, where tropical breezes drift through the valley and locals take pride in preserving the unspoiled, slower-paced charm of “the country.”
Just steps away from a secluded beach frequented by sea turtles, the condo offers direct access to a peaceful stretch of shoreline that feels far removed from the crowds and noise. This area is deeply rooted in the spirit of aloha, where diverse, welcoming residents—owner-occupants, long-term tenants, and vacationers—live side by side with mutual respect and a shared appreciation for island life.
Inside, the unit has been completely renovated from top to bottom. What was once a one-bedroom layout has been transformed into an open-concept studio-style space that enhances the airy, seamless flow and invites natural light throughout. The design embraces a neutral coastal palette with warm teak wood tones and thoughtfully selected textures and accents. Everything is brand new, from the high-end furnishings to the custom lighting and motorized window shades.
Though equipped with modern air conditioning, the condo is designed for open-air living—sliding glass doors and screen entryways allow for excellent cross-ventilation, making use of the island’s natural cooling. Whether you are working remotely, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking to unwind, this peaceful retreat offers all the comforts of home with the serenity of Hawaiʻi’s countryside.
